After 30 minutes of browsing, I told my family that it was only 9:30, and this was already one of the best days we have ever had, and they agreed. (Plus a lovely employee overhead and appreciated the comment. That was nice!) The store is very warm, inviting, and meticulously maintained. Everything is in perfect order, and there wasn't a speck of dust. You can tell that they take great pride in their store. During the hour and a half we spent here, I overheard the employees providing excellent customer service many times, and they knew quite a number of customers by name. As first time, non-local customers, we were warmly greeted, and had wonderful conversations with several employees. The one that stands out the most is the woman at the checkout. I unfortunately did not catch her name, but she was amazing. She even ran out to catch us outside when we accidentally left the tiny kitty glass figurine behind. We enjoyed talking with her, and learning about the history of the store. The very best part is the wide array of beautiful products they offer. We spent 90 minutes delightfully running around the store, constantly saying "Look at this!" "Oh my, you HAVE to come see this!" "This is so perfect!" "Ooooh, this is the most beautiful bracelet/dream catcher/tiny birdhouse/coffee cup (and on and on..) I've ever seen!" I cannot say enough about how amazing their selection is. You also can't beat the price of gas, and this is where I always fill up. The gas prices alone are worth the price of membership. I also really love the pizza and frozen yogurt- $2 for a slice or 2.50 for a slice and a drink. Or 1.50 for a hot dog and a drink. I was left in tears after many calls to this location trying to track down a rx I had set up for delivery a week ago..a delivery that was still sitting in their location. Unbelievable. Alot of "it's not our fault you decided to have it delivered and it was never done. Not our issue". I am not able to pick it up and that is why I paid for delivery. My dad died very recently and this back and forth with walgreens over medication that I cannot be without had me in tears...more than tears. I asked for a manager thinking it was my only possible hope for some compassion..Ha! A guy with a very strong accent came on the line. I could tell instantly this was going to be another disappointment. After explaining myself again he put the phone down and to my absolute disbelief I could hear him complaining about me while telling someone that he doesn't have to do any of this for me. I think he either thought he muted the phone or that I couldn't hear him...but this just made things even worse. I am so sick to my stomach right now...I've got a call into the corporate office.
