Occasionally I'll buy some items here. I wouldn't say prices are egregious, that wouldn't be fair. But Walmart not too far away also wins in this department. The current development of the pharmacy now being closed on weekends couldn't be more untimely or befuddling. Can we predict when we need medication? Can we predict when we get sick? My work/life schedule doesn't always allow me to visit during the week. My wife really needed something this past weekend, and when I pulled up I whispered to myself, "not surprising, but oh so annoying." Other customers felt the same, with one audibly yelling something more profane. Well, they still got me. I ended up buying two random things while I was there. For the past 5 months, I've had to go through a gauntlet every time I try to fill a prescription. The store manager, jolene maris, has taken it upon herself to override my doctor's prescriptions for important medications. She has also denied medications that I had to fill elsewhere. She's not a pharmacist, nor a doctor, but simply a walgreens store manager. I have never had a single issue with Walgreens or their pharmacy, until jolene maris decided to override the new pharmacist, multiple doctors, and all practical reasons why the medication could not be picked up. Her passive/ aggresive demeanor is unacceptable. She knew I would have to miss work without the medication, and despite multiple calls from my doctor & my doctor's supervisor, she has purposely took it upon herself to make me wait an extra 4 days, knowing I'd be suffering. She seemed to take plesaure in this for whatever reason. Because I go there so often (I will not be going to any Walgreens store any in the future), I spoke to certain employees about her. I am not alone with my negative sentiments. Luckily, their corporate offices have been responsive, and I will discusss the matter jolene's bosses on 9/25. She has no buisness making medical decisions for others and should be fired immediately.

I appreciate that person and what they ended up being able to do, however, the journey was extremely difficult. My one star is for the CVS infrastructure, which is extremely detrimental to customers and their employees. I had previously written a positive review saying they tried their best to help me track down my meds despite an inaccurate inventory system. They were able to fill 1 of 2 prescriptions and said they would transfer the other prescription to a store that had the other prescriptions in stock. After waiting a while for them to transfer, we rushed off to the other store with only a few minutes to spare before they closed. After driving 10 miles from this store to the other store, arriving 7 minutes before they closed, we learned that the prescription wasn't transferred at all. When the other store called this pharmacy to get the verification needed to fill the prescription, since it was so close to closing, this store picked up and immediately HUNG UP on the other CVS pharmacist trying to help us. Now, because of how this prescription transfer was handled, there is no way to fill the prescription without contacting this location and having them fix their mistake
