We had appointments scheduled for our COVID boosters and was emailed an appointment reminder ahead of time. By the time we showed up for our appointment at 3:30PM, a sign was posted at the pharmacy to indicate that they are closed at 1:30 today "due to unforeseen circumstances." They never notified us of the abrupt closure. I would have been fine with rescheduling if they would have at least given me a courtesy call before I drove all the way there. The person who identified themselves as the manager on duty was extremely rude. When asked who the store manager and pharmacy manager is, she said "don't call the store, call the 800 number" repeatedly. There's clearly no customer service at all at this place. read more

I had a Fed Ex drop-off and a cashier had a long line of people she was checking out. I was in the photo/federal express drop area waiting for help, assuming there were other employees. The cashier then screamed across the store at me that she was the only one there and I'd have to wait in the check out line with everyone else. No problem but the way she hollered and her attitude was uncalled for, embarrassing, and rude. I'll never step foot in this Walgreens again. This location was alright until low staffing. I have no qualms with the staff that quit, but the fact that Walgreens is unable to provide alternate means of getting medications when the pharmacy is low staff or inoperable is not okay. My medications legally cannot be transferred and are now stuck in there until after the weekend (that's if anyone shows up then). There were no alerts or heads up that the pharmacy would be closed, even though I got the usual "your prescriptions are ready for pickup." This is cruel to those who need their medications. If you value your health, do not go to this pharmacy. The pharmacists as well as the techs make it very clear that they do not want to speak to you at any point but want to take your money because it keeps their jobs. The pharmacists are very unpleasant, argumentative, demeaning woman. She literally told me that I could not call her anymore because I was bothering her. I contacted her district manager and left a brief message describing what happened and told him that I would not be coming back as a patient, but since I have prescriptions that I need refilled now, I cannot leave this pharmacy until I transfer all of my prescriptions as well as my families prescriptions over to a different pharmacy. She puts people on "hold" by setting the phone down on the counter for 20 minutes while she speaks to other customers. Not only does she do this, but she gives out the personal medical information as you get a verbal play-by-play of the patient's name, birthday and medication. This is a huge HIPAA violation. I am going to contact her manager one last time to leave a final review of this "medical establishment" as well as her terrible customer service skills tomorrow. As I said, before, if you wish to have not only good customer service, but the knowledge that you will be given proper respect as a patient, avoid this establishment at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had the rudest interaction I've possibly ever had in retail with Michelle the shift manager. We arrived to take passport photos with our children and after waiting 20 minutes for her to help us get them printed, she refused to do it for us (even after waiting in a long line TWICE) because every other employee went home and she needed to help other customers instead of us. She told us she didn't have time to help us and refused us service. She was incredibly rude and confrontational about helping us and refused us service for absolutely no reason. The worst. I scheduled a morning appointment for a vaccination. Show up, there's a sign on the door that the pharmacy is closed for the day. Go inside and am told there is no pharmacist present. This is Walgreens ...... they have only 1 pharmacist and no plan in place in case that pharmacist can't come in??? I only wanted a vaccine, but what about people who needed their medication? This is THE WORST Walgreens I have ever been to. There is a manager there named Michelle who is incredibly rude. After my daughter waited in the drive through line for over an hour, this woman placed trash cans in front of my daughters car when she was next in line. It was 10 minutes before 7pm closing! I was on the phone with my daughter at the time and I could hear her yelling at my daughter and other customers to go home. She was yelling and laughing at people who were upset. It was unreal. How long does it take to push some pills into container? Not long! It takes them forever since all of them are too busy talking to each other about personal matters. I am sitting here looking almost as pale as Dracula and they just yap away. They said it would be a couple of minutes, since when did a couple of minutes mean 45 minutes? I don't understand why these reviews are so low but I thought I would throw in my two cents. I had been going to the grocery store across the street for my prescriptions but it got too hard to wrangle up my kids just to pick up. When I started getting my groceries delivered to my car I decided I should try Walgreens because of the drive thru. This has been a lifesaver! I have had a wonderful experience with the pharmacist and the staff at the drive thru window so far. My prescriptions are always ready and I get a text as a reminder. It's so easy. They also carry all of the medicines we have needed and it's a quick turn around. If you're a busy mom that doesn't have time to wrangle your kids inside of a store - I highly recommend using this Walgreens. read more

The staff here is incredibly rude. Came to fill prescriptions for my young sick children and the clerk "Josh" couldn't figure out the insurance number and told me he wouldn't call them to get it straight. I told him that I absolutely needed him to call because I needed the medication. He finally agreed to but said he couldn't tell me when that would be. I told him I needed him to tell me when he would call as I was standing there to pick up the medication and return home to my sick children. He continued to say he "didn't know when he'd call." I demanded he call at that moment so I could take my child her medication. The customer in line behind was clearly a desire employee as she then speaks up" well he's supposed to be on his lunch and not even helping you." This became a very confrontational and humiliating at the employee we shouting at me in front of everyone in the line. I had to demand to speak to the pharmacist. I had the woman behind me (clearly and employee) calling me "Karen" under her breath. All of this occurred because the tech "Josh" refused to cal the insurance company to get the billing correct. That's not my job, and I wouldn't even know where to begin. That's the pharmacy's job. I will never return to this location again as they have a history of being rude at this location but this was awful. To be humiliated and then have another employee join in as well. read more

Also, I don't like the false advertising online re: inventory. This Walgreen's is large and for the size of the store, it seems you could find a few items a bit easier. I couldn't find some simple over the counter items or things like cold compresses or the staff didn't know. One member told me the other the counter item could be ordered online, but I could do that myself. Hopefully this place will improve, but in the meantime, I only got like 1 out of 4 items on my shopping list. read more

We have many prescriptions and the staff is always willing to answer questions, call in renewals, etc. I highly recommend the auto refill. Love it! Pharmacy understaffed. To cover the pharmacy, the store will put another employee in the pharmacy to help out which are clearly not qualified to be working in there. Employees working are in sweats and disheveled---have no confidence in the pharmacy that the people handling the drugs are qualified---especially after they gave me someone else's prescription. read more

I love this Walgreens. I've been filling my prescriptions for myself as well as my family for years here. The pharmacy staff is great!! The technicians are always friendly and are very helpful. When the medications my doctor prescribe are too expensive they always offer to call my doctor's office and get a more cost-effective option. The pharmacists are great too. There have been numerous occasions where they have caught various interactions between my medications, or have counseled me on side effects to look out for. Every time I go into this pharmacy the pharmacy staff is incredibly busy (often times lines of people in the drive-thru and at the front counter), yet they still take time to answer my questions and are always friendly about it. This is my first Yelp review, but I wanted to shout out to my 64th and Mcintyre Pharmacy for always serving me and my family so well. read more

Do not use this Walgreens' photo center to develop film. I turned in professional film to be developed at this store. An hour later, an employee called to tell us that our film was ready. When we went in to pick it up, the employee told us our $10-per-roll film had been ruined by an employee who didn't realize it was professional film that had to be developed differently than non-professional film. Their offer to make things right? A disposable camera. How generous. Upon further inquisition, the store manager finally admitted that his employee was culpable and should have realized this film was different. Furthermore, he admits hat this has happened before with wedding photos! Incredible.If you make a mistake once, that is understandable. To make the same mistake twice is ridiculous, especially when it comes to precious memories that are irreplaceable. If your employee is to blame and expensive film is at stake, please understand that offering a disposable camera is an insult. I would expect better from a place that is entrusted with peoples' most valuable memories. read more
