Occasionally I'll buy some items here. I wouldn't say prices are egregious, that wouldn't be fair. But Walmart not too far away also wins in this department. The current development of the pharmacy now being closed on weekends couldn't be more untimely or befuddling. Can we predict when we need medication? Can we predict when we get sick? My work/life schedule doesn't always allow me to visit during the week. My wife really needed something this past weekend, and when I pulled up I whispered to myself, "not surprising, but oh so annoying." Other customers felt the same, with one audibly yelling something more profane. Well, they still got me. I ended up buying two random things while I was there. Wishing the overall experience improves. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if they closed down this location. Get it together, Walgreens!! Please I beg of you.

The first few times there were…read more6-10 cars ahead of me in the drive-through and due to commitments I had to leave (because the last time I picked up a prescription through the drive through I was the only one in line and was made to wait 20 minutes). Went back again this morning only to find a handmade sign in the window that read, "The Pharmacy is currently closed today due to pharmacist callout. Sorry for the trouble!" Then, 10 minutes later on my drive home, I received an automated call from Walgreens stating that my prescriptions are ready but that the pharmacy is closed. I called and spoke with someone at this Walgreens location who told me to go to another Walgreens (wait in line, etc.) to ask if my prescriptions could be transferred and filled. NO! I think Walgreens has wasted enough of my time and has caused enough TROUBLE! This is par for the course in Colorado...standards are so low here it's near impossible to write positive reviews for anyone or anything. I hope the people who support this incompetence, ineptitude and unprofessionalism are really happy with themselves...it's only going to get worse. But just like a late night after drinking- Walgreens and a Burrito Supreme are the same, I always find myself tearing into one. Maybe it's because they're located on just about every street corner (or they appear to be), or it could be, the over-generous and gracious operating hours (24 hours), or they have just about everything you, your spouse, or your second cousin will ever need when requested in a five minute window. Walgreens is sort of like a Flea Market with prescriptions, $1 toys, and fountain drinks but they also develop film and have a loyalty program. Visionaries...no doubt.

I waited 55 minutes sitting outside the pharmacy crying because I will either have to just deal with the pain or reschedule my cancer biopsy. I saw people picking up their allergy medicine before my prescription. Even at the estimated time they were still not available. These techs and pharmacists don't care about whatever patients are dealing with. As an X-ray tech myself, it's so sad seeing people who go into healthCARE and not give any empathy to actual patients. Will never be coming back and will be transferring all my prescriptions to Walmart. I hear they have a lot better customer service - just comparing the reviews. I appreciate that person and what they ended up being able to do, however, the journey was extremely difficult. My one star is for the CVS infrastructure, which is extremely detrimental to customers and their employees. I had previously written a positive review saying they tried their best to help me track down my meds despite an inaccurate inventory system. They were able to fill 1 of 2 prescriptions and said they would transfer the other prescription to a store that had the other prescriptions in stock. After waiting a while for them to transfer, we rushed off to the other store with only a few minutes to spare before they closed. After driving 10 miles from this store to the other store, arriving 7 minutes before they closed, we learned that the prescription wasn't transferred at all. When the other store called this pharmacy to get the verification needed to fill the prescription, since it was so close to closing, this store picked up and immediately HUNG UP on the other CVS pharmacist trying to help us. Now, because of how this prescription transfer was handled, there is no way to fill the prescription without contacting this location and having them fix their mistake
