It is clean and modern inside, and it looked well stocked. My issue was with the pharmacy here. Our kiddo got sick on the way to Denver and after some back and forth with telehealth along the road we had her prescription sent here to this King Soopers pharmacy as it was the closest pharmacy to our hotel that would be open when we arrived. We drove straight here and I walked right over to the pharmacy hoping for a quick in and out so we could get our daughter on antibiotics as soon as possible. When I arrived the pharmacist was really unfriendly and essentially told me that they didn't make it because it was going to cost me around $700 and they figured I wouldn't want it. First of all, they aren't wrong, I'm not going to pay $700 for an antibiotic - that seems absolutely insane. But what upset me was how dismissive he was and how unhelpful and rude he was as well. He seemed really put off that I had questions. I mentioned that the cost seemed outrageous since we had insurance and I hadn't ever been here before so he must not have our insurance card. He insisted that he did, but I got it out anyways and made him look it up. He still came back saying it would be $700. After some prodding he explained that it might have to do with some sort of contract Blue Cross has with this particular pharmacy and that if I was lucky maybe we could get it at a Walgreens but that all the Walgreens around here were already closed. I asked if there were other antibiotics that could treat my child and he wasn't very helpful. I asked if he could send it to another pharmacy and he said I'd have to have the other pharmacy call him. Sure, some of this might be routine, or perhaps their policy, but the man could have been kinder, explained things in a nicer way, been more patient, or offered some advice on what we could help our daughter with in the short term. I don't live near here, but it was a bad enough experience that I'll likely avoid all King Soopers pharmacies for the foreseeable future.

The staff at Union Square Pharmacy is fast, friendly and knowledgeable. It is also a compounding pharmacy, which is rare to find. Most of the time when I walk in, they know who I am and when I am picking up prescriptions for myself or my kids. As long as I am working in the area I will keep sending my prescriptions to this pharmacy I absolutely love it!

I have stopped and chatted with the volunteers twice, on both occasions they really pestered me to donate right now vs look up the organization once I got home as they had a "goal" to hit that day. The organization is Stand For the Silent and seems like a legitimate organization, however I really can't stand these practices and feel awkward and flustered every time I go to this location due to the this. Although I was able to find most of the items I needed, navigating through the store was very challenging due to the large number of boxes in the aisles and the large carts stacked with merchandise waiting to be put on shelves. I understand businesses may have concerns about employee phone use, but customers increasingly rely on mobile banking, digital coupons, shopping lists, and communication with family members while shopping. In an area with poor cellular coverage, offering reliable guest Wi-Fi would significantly improve the customer experience. This was a problem when I reported it years ago, and it's disappointing to see it remains unresolved.
