All I can say is wow! I switched to this location for my pharmacy needs about 5 months ago and they ALWAYS gone above and beyond. Matt, the Pharmacist is very attentive and always makes sure I'm doing ok every month! They also make sure My side affects are too bad and if they are, they give me a solution to help it! Ontop of that, every single pharmacy tech is phenomenal as well. Especially because they deal with some super mean patrons, they have always handled it very elegantly. I'm probably betting most of the bad pharmacy reviews are people that couldn't get their way. But if you are courteous to them, they will give it right back! I have recommended these guys to all of my friends and family if they need a medication filled. Ps. Don't be rude, obnoxious, etc to the pharmacy techs, or pharmacists. It will get you NOWHERE. They are having a hard time as having people that want to work, so they are running a bit slower than not, bit if you are RESPECTFUL, and tell them how quickly you need your medication. They will accommodate. And on the other side of that coin, if you are rude to them, you will get absolutely no where with them. You can he a part of the solution and not part of the problem. And honestly if you do end up choosing to have your meds filled somewhere else because you think that hurts them, it actually helps the people that are kind and courteous to them to get our stuff even faster so thanks for that read more

I will not be coming back here for anything that I have to schedule an appointment for. They do not take appointment times seriously. I sat for over 15 minutes until I was helped. read more

This is genuinely the worst Walgreens I've ever been to in my whole life. The pharmacy staff is so unprofessional and unprepared. They have nothing organized. I had a prescription and I was informed I would get a call or text when I could come pick it up. A MONTH later I have to come in myself to ask what happened then they typed in their computer and said I would be informed when I could pick it up TWO WEEKS LATER I never get a call im genuinely getting sick and tired of the inconsistency and this place genuinely should get shut down. The reviews are terrible everyone has problems with this pharmacy and the staff just don't know what they are doing read more

Walgreens - Drugstores Near Me - Denver, Colorado

The clerks at the Walgreens in Glendale are consistently rude and condescending. I am speaking specifically about the woman that works in beauty/cosmetics and a regular check out clerk. I wouldn't ever go there again if it wasn't so close and convenient for me. The time I save going to the Walgreens close to home is often neutralized by the extremely long wait times at the pharmacy. I'm not sure why people that are doing the drive through are waited on before the people that are in the store right at the window. With very few exceptions, this Walgreens is the worst Drug Store I have ever been to. Employees are rude, unprofessional and condescending. Regional managers need to take notice and do better. Heaven knows the Pharmacy manager isn't going to help anything. Somehow it is lost on him that the customer is always right. He choses to be argumentative and defensive about his employees rather than address concerns from the customer. I'm sure that people that are less lazy than I am have taken their business elsewhere. read more

WORST PHARMACY EVER EVER EVER! They never have the prescriptions ready on time, always give me a half pack then I have to go back. Or they make you wait 30 minutes to just get it off the Damn shelf! So unprofessional, they should be shut down! read more

This pharmacy always gives me issues. They make you stay on hold, don't like to pick up the phone and it takes FOREVER to get your prescriptions filled. I have a chronic illness and rely on my medications this place adds unnecessary stress. read more

This review is for the pharmacy. This was my last trip to this pharmacy. I've been battling with it being subpar for a two years now. It took over two days to fill a simple prescription of very common drugs. I have three of four with one another one not even being mentioned. I dislike the way I'm so openly asked my name, home address, birthdate and phone number. Then, the drugs I'm picking up are recited to me for confirmation. Everyone in line can hear this entire conversation. The woman in front of me in line is no longer a "stranger" to me as I knew her home address, phone number, birthday (age) and can guess at her ailments as I know what drugs she's taking. This all seems terribly wrong. I'm moving my prescriptions to King Soopers. read more

We called to see if they had pokemon and they said yes. We drove 8 minutes just to be met by lies and disappointment.

Great place. Closest one to my home, all my family goes here. Great service and place. Would recommend to my step brother's son. 10/10 place. read more

Severely understaffed! The people who work here do a good job and are as efficient as possible. Please help them by hiring more people, the experience here continues to be frustrating because they are not properly staffed. read more

Says they close at 11 online and on the door but I got there at 10:30 and they said they were closed. Went to another wallgreens 10 minutes down the road and they also closed 15-20 minutes early and said it's because they just wanted to get out of there. I understand I've worked in retail and I am not the type to stay after close but if it's 30 minutes before close and I need one thing why not change the closing time to 10:30?? read more

If the pharmacy is CLOSED for lunch put out a sign and get away from the counter. Instead of being rude and making all the customers wait in line for 15 minutes before you walk out and say "you're on break". Then you decide you will help and the whole time you complain to everyone in line that you are on break and continue to be rude and throw attitude towards the customers like a teenager. Then slam the window closed while I'm removing my items. Very unprofessional, from a "medical professional". Disappointed in the pharmacist at Walgreens. read more

Prescriptions called in. Had been 45 minutes. Then I was told it would be another hour. I don't understand how I haven't gotten a notification if they are ready it has been over 2 hours. Had to call and they are ready and have been sitting there for an hour. I think you need more staffing or need a new staff if you can't get it together. People that are Ill don't want to be driving around waiting and having to go back to get something that had been ready or shouldn't take an hour to get it filled. Total of 3 hours of my time. Thanks I'll be going to CVS from now on. I'll not be back. Neither will my roommate, my friends or family. read more

Worst pharmacy EVER!! I have to call them to fill my newly prescribed meds. It can take days for them to complete it.

This is perhaps the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. When the doctor writes a 30 day prescription to take every day, but (you say) he only wrote to dispense for 15 days, why aren't you following up with him? Then you told me that the insurance needed a pre-authorization to dispense that many for this medication. Once again, you did not follow up with the doctor. I say simply that your whole office is incompetent. Starting with the pharmacists and including the techs. I hope you do read this and you remember who I am. Bottom line, you don't care for your customers. If I were an 80 year old person who wasn't clear about what he was supposed to take I guess you would just say "too bad, call your doctor because he was wrong." That just tells me that you really don't care about your customers. read more

They claimed to have called and faxed my daughter's dr for a refill RX and several times my dr said they did not. So they are lying when they say they notified your dr. I verified numbers and fax so they can't claim they had the wrong numbers. My daughter has enough medical issues I now have to be her pharmacist to get the job done right? Ridiculous! read more

Very disappointed in the customer service shown by the employees and manager here (Matt). With one clarifying question, they became extremely defensive and rude. The employee then stated "well, if you don't believe me, I'll call my boss." This was of course totally fine because I was appalled about her tone and behavior. Then, the boss comes. I politely explained my question (regarding depositing money for capital one) and he immediately states "don't know. I'm not interested in losing my job." I clarify, again, "sir I'm not wanting you to do anything that would put your job in jeopardy. I understand that. I'm just looking for clarification on how much I can deposit because the Capital one app says I can deposit ___ here" he just stared at me. No response. Just looked at me with pure disgust waiting for me to leave. Absolutely terrible customer service! Highly recommend finding another location to visit. read more

Is there a way to give fewer stars? Dropped my script off at 10:45. Was told it would be ready after 13:00. I came back after work at 17:35 and stood in line for 24 minutes to find out the store "didn't have the medication in stock". I asked if the medication was in stock when I dropped off my script and was told "yes". I'm at a pharmacy b/c I don't feel well. Please be decent enough to say "no" so I can go to another pharmacy and get what I need. Kudos to Eric (AM) for being sympathetic. Eric, Walgreeds [sic] doesn't deserve you. I drove over to the Belleview location (store #7432) and Kristine made it happen. Walgreens? Meh. Walgreens @ Sheridan (store# 10116)? Nah. read more

This a very poorly managed store. They are clueless about customer service. I purchased razors where there was a special tied to it. When the register came up with the same price I asked the cashier to check on this. Another lady found the item and told us a coupon would come out upon the purchase. Well no coupon and cashier called the supervisor, Margo. The supervisor not only does not come out but tells the cashier for me to call the 800 number on the receipt. Yikes!!!! I call the 800 number and have to go through over 25 questions. I have to go to the website to get the number. I finally get the manager at the store and she Jaime who, I explained the situation and then tells me another story about I can get the savings but I need to come in and purchase more items. This lady is also clueless about customer service. I rarely write poor reviews. But this one is just a sad case of store personnel that do not understand customer service. And Walgreens upper management, You are in deep doo doo. This is another Sears and Roebocks, Kmart and other stores that have become incompetent. I will see you CVS and Rite Aid!!! It has been a very long time that I continually have issues with Walgreens pharmacy. From them just closing without any notice or telling patients when they submit a prescription they can't get them, to them not initiating transfers to another pharmacy, etc. I really don't understand how they continue with such poor practices. I understand they are short staffed everyone is, but communication with your patients who need these medication's is key and would go along way. I am now having King Soopers initiate prescription transfers for the third time hopefully Walgreens will actually get it done read more

Walgreens pharmacy. I loved this place at 1st even recommended people to go there. It's really gone down hill! There is worker there named Deanna who is rude as hell. The other pharmacy techs are nice but always forget to run my insurance so my medicine will be like stupid expensive. I always have to ask them run it my insurance through. I feel like this should be something that's an automatic. I'm definitely sick of them so I'm transferring my medications to more competent pharmacy. read more

The pharmacy is the worst and it's getting even harder to deal with. I know that doesn't sound right but I waited on hold for 48 minutes then was hung up on. I wouldn't even rate one star but on yelp you don't have a choice.. Worst management and customer service ever....

I will never shop at this location again. I tried commenting on the website but it wouldn't let me submit it. Probably smart! The cashier didn't know anything and the manager was just as bad. I'm a senior and went in for the senior discounts being the first Tues. of the month. I told the cashier that today started the 30% off Walgreens products for seniors. She argued with me and said she had been doing this all day and it was always 20% off. I asked to talk to the manager who she did not want to call. The manager agreed that it was only 20% off. I showed her my email and she tried telling me it was only online. Upon further arguing, she finally made a phone call and found out I was right. Why can't managers be on top of this? Then I tried buying Christmas candy for 50% off and it came out regular price. I finally just told her to keep it. I bought two pairs of eye glasses and the cashier threw them in a sack with two liters of pop. When I got home, one pair was bent out of shape so they have to go back. What is wrong with these employees anymore? It's not like it used to be and I will shop at another location from now on. Very poor customer service! read more

I recommend NOT using this Walgreen's pharmacy. As background, I just had a shoulder surgery by one of the most respected surgeons in this field 2 weeks ago. Upon sending me home the Surgeon prescribed Oxydocdone and Hydrocodone and said I could use them according to my body reaction to them as long as I don't mix them or double the dose, which I did to effectively manage my pain for 2 weeks, the first script of the 2 meds was filled at an Aurora Walgreens near a friend's house after we left the surgery center. I went in today to the Bear Valley Walgreens to refill the scripts after receiving a new prescription for both the same way as my surgery was particularly rough and I'm still having intense pain, to use as needed as I transition into therapy etc. Keep in mind the prescribing Surgeon is among the best in his field. This Walgreens employee today in the pharmacy took the two scripts back to another employee, then came back and told me they had decided that since the 2 meds were similar in that they both contain acetominophen, that I only really needed one or the other but they wouldn't fill them both. Of course I took my business across the street to King Soopers who filled them without question. I was upset at Walgreens about the issue because to me they were implying I was somehow abusing the use of these drugs after going through a horrific shoulder surgery just 10 days ago, and they made that judgement without asking me a single question, or making any kind of contact with my surgeon. In other words the pharmacist decided to play Doctor. I did some online research and see that Walgreens was fined for something like this and that they decided after being fined to question prescriptions if the pharmacist feels the use of narcotic pain killers is somehow being abused. This pharmacist made this call again without a single question to me about how long ago I had the surgery, what my pain level was, etc. Of course I have already decided I will never set foot in this business again, not only is King Soopers next door but a Walmart Neighborhood Store is about to open across the other intersection. I personally hope this Walgreens gets run out of business in fact I am considering picketing the store considering their implicationt that my use of narcotic pain killers after a very rough surgery is some kind of questionably immoral use of drugs. I would like to encourage others that have had similar treatment in a Walgreens to speak out to others as well. read more

The photo center here is the WORST I've never been able to order photos or Christmas cards without an issue and they always "can't find" my orders I was even told I would have to just remake my Christmas cards I waited over 10 days to be shipped to the store and when I got upset they magically appeared. I go to this Walgreens specifically to see Ali. He is very friendly and helpful and cares a lot about people and providing great customer service. This Walgreens has an EV charging station which is pretty cool if you have an EV Vehicle. But the Pharmacy closes at 6pm on Sunday so be forewarned. Lay out is typical of a Walgreens and clean on the inside. Always easy to find an employee if you need something that's locked up as well. read more

The Walgreens pharmacy located at 3067 S. Sheridan Blvd Denver, CO 80227 is nothing short of rude. The "PHARMACY MANAGER ", is so unbelievably rude and treats her customers so poorly I am shocked that she is not only working in a pharmacy where patients need help but to also be the manager is absolutely mind blowing. She yelled at me, she cussed at me and she refuses to refill prescriptions she already has the authorization to fill by my workmen's compensation carrier however refuses too even after telling me that I could pick it up and pay the full price of however she would make certain workmen's compensation didn't reimburse me. I'm suffering in pain after having 3 major surgeries in 18 days and an entire hour of physical therapy yet she refuses to fill my prescription because she says that she needs my workmen's compensation case worker's approval despite being told by my workmen's compensation case worker that they no longer need it on this prescription. And it's after hours with my workmen's compensation carrier as they're an hour ahead of us. Now I will have no sleep tonight AFTER BEING TOLD TODAY BY MY PHYSICAL THERAPIST THAT SLEEP IS VITAL IN MY RECOVERY and when I called the pharmacy to see what else I could do she's in the background LAUGHING! I'm now in search of her supervisor and if anyone out there may know who it might be please let me know. Thank you and PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT HAVE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED AT THIS LOCATION! read more

Got up early this past Sunday 11/19 because the weekly flyer was advertising 50% Living Solutions Christmas lights. The ad stated 'selection may vary by store' (because not all stores have the same items in stock) but did not define specific light counts etc, yet when tried to purchase three 120 C3 light sets they did not ring up on sale. After questioning the cashier and showing her the ad she called the manager on duty who priced checked the ones I had, and then grabbed a smaller count from the shelf. The smaller count rang up on sale so she apologized that the ad was confusing and said it appeared only the smaller counts were on sale. Confusing? The ad seemed pretty straightforward-- 50% off Living Solutions Christmas lights. Not 100ct or select varieties, just Christmas Lights. At 7:30am I was not in the mood to argue with the manager to honor their own ad so I just left, shocked she wouldn't take care of the customer. This is a prime example of what is hurting brick and mortar stores; advertise something and then not honor the price. At least with Amazon the price advertised is the price paid. read more
