My niece and I stopped here on Sunday, 3/22/26, to shop and redeem my certificate. I was able to find everything on my list and then some, including many items that were on sale. As usual, the store and parking area were very crowded. The cashier had a difficult time discerning our individual items which held up the line behind us. I was somewhat rattled by this and forgot to redeem my certificate and when I realized it, we were on our way back to her car. I went back to the customer service counter and was greeted by a friendly rep who cashed it. All in all, I accomplished my goals and now will not need to return for a while. read more

Costco is such a fun place to visit. As busy parents Costco becomes an outing with purpose. While both locations can get really busy, if you time it right you can arrive and feel like the stores been opened for private shopping (j/k). Fresh fruit, great produce and beautiful cuts of meat. We love the easy packaged foods, egggggcellent egg prices and samples abound. You can also find great clothes, spices and even fill your prescriptions. I went to the Optical Store at the Costco in Littleton, Colorado. The price of my glasses may have been reasonable, I'm not sure, but the service I received was sub-par. When I first entered the optical area, I was obviously kind of confused. I had never been there before. But none of the clerks asked me if I needed help. I guess you're supposed to scan a QR code (heaven forbid you ask for help without scanning a QR code) and then enter the waiting list. But no one told me this so I waited for 10 minutes without realizing. The guy who helped me, Florin, was terrible. He didn't smile, he acted impatient with me, and he barely answered my questions. It was the worst customer service experience I've had in at least two years. I will never get my glasses at Costco Optical again. read more

Had tires that were already replaced by warranty (first set didn't even last half of what was promised), 2nd set lasted 30k miles!!!! Under warranty for 80k! Manager Lady was a tall blonde with a pony tail running around collecting boxes, condensing them like the world was gonna end. Ignoring every interaction with customers. I have been a Costco member for YEARS, Please DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED FAIRLY. The two SELF checkout ladies had told us to go to register 4 to check our selves out. One of them looked me up and down stopped me in the middle and said she was gonna check us out right there. I asked her why I couldn't go to the register she had told me too, she said oh it's policy we check you out, yet the 9 people before us had no problem doing it them selves. Was giving very much being profiled. I told her I had plenty of money and have never stolen. The lady continued to be very rude saying "it's not that" I had said what is it then. She claimed policy again, yet if it was policy then the 9 people in front of me should've had the same interaction as us. We were bickering back and forth till she pulled her manager over he was just as lost as we were I told him I'd like to get my stuff I paid for and NEVER go back. 0/10 I wouldn't go to this Costco, this definitely wasn't the first time and probably wouldn't have been the last. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE X100!!! We are interested in purchasing a love sac through Costco. We looked up the vendor schedule and saw that the love sac vendor was scheduled to be at the Littleton store from Nov 20-24. We even called prior to driving 1.5 hours on Nov 22nd to make sure that the vendor was there, which we were told over the phone that they were. We drove 1.5 hours with our little kids to the store and couldn't find the vendor. My husband asked an employee who told us that they had packed up yesterday (Nov 21) and left! WHAT?!??! We let them know our situation and showed them that their store said that they would be there until the 24 of Nov. The manager went to see what they could find out and 45 min later he gives us a name and number. I guess the arrogant regional manager came in and shut lovesac down early because they weren't "holiday-ish'" enough. Now we are left without a couch. I can order online but it is VERY limited in the customization and these couches are over $5,000 so we definitely want to make sure we get what we are wanting. SHAME ON YOU REGIONAL MANAGER!! I had Connect Auto Insurance through Costco which in the past had provided significant savings, but Connect was purchased by American Family Insurance. I had been expecting a rate increase from the sale of the company and sure enough, it happened. Connect by AmFam did a major increase for all of Colorado. My rate for Auto and Home went up by about 20% year over year. I canceled and went with a different company and paid about what I did last year. No more savings buying through Costco. read more

I like the Costco store a lot but their tire center is terrible. I made a tire appointment more than a month ahead of time and I showed up on time. They told me it would take 1-1/2 to 2 hours which I was willing to wait for. After 2-1/2 hours, they had still not started working on my car and I was told it would be at least another hour or so. I had passed on my earlier ride home based on their time estimate but now I had to get home before they said it would be done. I took it back first thing in the morning two days later and was told they aren't taking any walk-ins and I needed to make a new appointment. The next available appointment was more than three weeks later. Instead, I took it to Discount Tire and they took care of me in a few hours. Guess I'll buy all my tire there in the future. read more

Bought tires for daughters car. Had my kid wash all wheels before tire install so guys in so wouldn't have nasty wheels to deal with. All wheels in excellent shape before install, they trashed 1 wheel, small scrapes on 2 other wheels. Went thru claim, DENIED. This place will ruin the wheels and denied responsibility. Today is June 28 wed at 3:50 pm worst customer service! I waited in member service and received rude customer support. I paid $60 to renew and got eggs and waited in line maybe 15 min only to get a block after paying for my eggs. Cashier called manager to release my hold because I just paid $60 to renew. I stood there for 30 mins watching this manager help another man who checked out after me. She was suppose to return and she forgot. I don't Recall the name on her badge . But she is young Caucasian and has short light brown hair. I use to think that it would be cool to work at Costco . But after todays awful experience I've learned that member services may be burnt out or managers are poorly trained with time management. read more

Verdict: Awesome if you can deal with the crowds. I love Costco. There's lots to love after all. That seems to be the consensus because there are tons of people here most of the time. This one has plenty of parking and multiple parking lot entrances so that's a big plus. Can't say I love all the in-store foo but the price is more than reasonable. I wouldn't recommend the chicken bake unless you're looking for a bit of a carb binge. Most of the chicken bake I got here was all bread and the areas that did have the filling were still lacking. Giving this Costco a 4/5 because it's clean, the people are always friendly, and it has all the other things that keep us coming back for more. I hate shopping here! Did you know you don't need a membership to buy liquor,wine,and beer, or to eat at the food court. Still the person looks like a deer in headlights when you remind them of this. I had issues with this store, and I found the complaint process to be archaic and worthless. Yeah, I know they don't even flinch by losing my business, but regardless, I plan to never step foot in this hell-hole again. The prices are not better deals, you just have to buy bulk and pay more. Basically, if you have enough money to buy a membership here and pay for bulk, you're not saving money, you're just foolish, in my opinion. The only deal is wine under $10 or their cheap brand liquor, which qualities wise is on the low-end. Boycott Costco's! read more

If I could give this experience less than one star I would. I purchased tires at Costco and scheduled an appointment for the install. The attendant Liam, told me it would be 1.5-2 hours. I came back at the 2 hour mark after having to Uber back to my house and they hadn't even started my car yet. They told me it would be another 30-45 minutes. Absolutley unacceptable. I missed a reservation I had scheduled for weeks and there was zero empathy shown for how ridiculous the situation was. Why schedule an appointment if they aren't going to have it in on time? Why do they not give you a heads up when booking the appointment that this could be a 1-5 hour ordeal? Do better Costco, we all spend a lot of money in your warehouse and we deserve better service. Don't schedule so many appointments or don't take walk in appointments if you can't accommodate the volume.. business 101. No solution is ever offered or any sort of compensation even though I just gave you $1200 for 4 tires. DO BETTER. read more

I have nothing bad to say about Costco as a company and I appreciate every employee in this store because they are super friendly and since I've been shopping there for so many years they know me and treat me well.. My only complaint is about this gentleman that was walking around the store with a pony... now, the one time I witnessed this first I sensed a very bad odor walking down the aisles and then I saw the pony being walked nonchalantly by their owner, turning heads left and right.. so then I put two and two together- it's possible that the pony used the bathroom in the middle of the store-. I once wanted to bring my puppy into the store, basically she would sit in the cart while I was shopping (not upsetting anyone or making any mess) and I was told that because she was not a service dog I could not bring her in, however a big pony is allowable?! This is by no means a "service" animal. I'm sorry but I hope someone reads this and puts an end to it. I spoke with other people who shop there and have mentioned the incident keeps happening and every time the smell in the store is just a complete turn off . Fast, cheap eats for everybody after an outing. I am a fan of the snack bar. Then we walk around and try some samples. Maybe buy some giant box of something...makes a good stop when goofing off. Has anybody else noticed that they fall all over themselves trying to be fast at the store. They're so fast that they take your cart away before you check out and need your car back. They're so efficient that I find it makes me anxious like I'm going too slow at checkout like I can't even see how much anything costs or pay fast enough or get out of there fast enough and then they check me like I'm going out of TSA like I'm going to the airport 10 feet from where I just paid they Shake You Down and make sure you have your receipt is it just me or is this place freaking bizarre. read more

I have always loved Costco, and have been a member on someone else's card for about 15 years. That person decided not to renew, so today I went in to open my own account. The people at the desk were so pushy about me buying a membership that was much more than I needed, and also applying for their own visa card, that it took my breath away. I asked for a one day shopping pass so that I could think about it, but still purchase some things I needed while I was there, and they acted like I was asking for an entire free membership. The woman informed me curtly that only members could shop at Costco. Costco, I love your products, but the people at this location have never been helpful or even appreciative of my business. I've never had any issues there, except when they (and everyone else) were out of certain things. I don't fault them for that, as some people were buying as much TP as they could fit into their vehicles. I also find masks uncomfortable, but am not quite so arrogant, selfish and ignorant as to think that a business can't refuse service if I don't wear shoes, pants, or other things (mask) in order to make everyone's shopping experience more comfortable and safe. Even if I have some different ideas about the current health situations, it seems important to be considerate of other people. Anyway, this is a normal Costco. I wouldn't think it appropriate to roll in with a "pocket constitution" and ask them to violate corporate policies. Then again, I suspect that some of these "constitutional warriors," so concerned with not being forced to wear a mask, would be all for exclusion of non-Karens or other groups. These people need a hobby or a job, so they have more important things to concern themselves with. I wonder if they also consider it "unconstitutional" to prohibit smoking at the gas pumps or to require shirts, shoes and pants.. I've actually read the constitution and while it does protect free speech, free press and protesting, it doesn't protect, or even mention scenarios of "I ain't wanna wear a mask." I'm sure they'll be happy to cancel and refund your membership if you're so dead set on refusal to comply with something as simple as covering your nose and mouth while inside a building on their property. read more
