I was recently in serious pain and unable to pick up my medications. Even though the pharmacy was closed for July 3rd, I left a message not expecting to hear back. To my surprise, within just a few hours, their delivery driver was at my door with both of my prescriptions. I left the message at 8:59 a.m. and by 12:23 p.m. my medications were in my hands. That level of care meant everything to me. I have been with Apex Pharmacy for about four years, and they consistently go above and beyond--staying on top of my refills, contacting my doctor when needed, and keeping me informed every step of the way. Their delivery driver is always kind, professional, and dependable, rain or shine. I have never experienced this level of compassion and service from any other pharmacy. Their staff is truly amazing. I highly recommend Apex Pharmacy, especially for anyone who wants to support a minority-owned business that genuinely cares about its customers. Thank you, Apex Pharmacy. What you did for me meant the world to me.

I was told to give it 3-5 days for compounding but it is scheduled to ship on Monday. It wasn't delivered to the post office until Tuesday, wasn't accepted by the post office until Thursday, and not delivered until Saturday in a postal unit box in 90+ temps. When I opened the packaging, the ice packs were very hot along with the semaglutide being as hot. The packaging had even been crushed. I explained this in the text message conversation and was told to call so they could better assist me. The only assistance I got was a cocky young lady in pharmacy who told me a story about how someone locked theirs in a trunk for 7 days and the efficacy was acceptable. It just reduces the life of the product. This after we've been consistently told to keep it refrigerated. I'm frustrated because they want us to reach out to our politicians so they can continue to make such products and then treat their customers very poorly!!!! When I suggested that maybe I should go back to brand name, she responded, "Ok, bye!" I'm not paying these prices for reduced life of product. It isn't cheap.

My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed on Friday (8/16). The nurses and doctors mentioned to…read moreme that lidocaine suckers are available to help small children after this kind of surgery and gave me a list of places that carry them (there are only 3 places in the list, and this was one of them). We live in Littleton, but I had another errand to run in Parker. They close at 6 and I got there at 5:20, thinking I'd be able to get in, out and on my way. When I got to the front desk, I was made aware that I needed a prescription (which was somewhat of a shock, since a prescription hasn't been mentioned to me about the suckers until this point). I knew the doctors office closed at 5, so I figured I was out of luck. The receptionist mentioned that she'd grab the pharmacist for me, so I waited. When the pharmacist came out, I explained the situation (my 4 year old autistic son had his tonsils and adenoids removed and these suckers were recommended, but no mention of a prescription). By this time, I was exhausted and feeling defeated. I had been up since 4:30, my son was in pain and I still had 3 errands to run before I got home. The pharmacist was super understanding. She said that the doctors office probably had an "urgent call" center, and to call them and let them know the situation. If I was able to get ahold of a doctor before they closed, she would take a verbal prescription order for the suckers for my son. I called the doctors office and the call center said they'd call back in less than half an hour. I got odd the phone with them at the 5:25. That was cutting it pretty close. At 5:52 they called me back. The doctor gave the verbal prescription to the pharmacist and I was out the door by 5:57. I am incredibly impressed with the pharmacist who listened to me, who understood my frustration and who made sure I was taken care of so I could take care of my son this weekend. Thank you for showing care and compassion to a woman who was extremely worn out and defeated. I will definitely go out of my way in the future to visit this pharmacy in the future.

I received my filled prescription without any information attached regarding side effects or additional information. I never expected to experience such a severe side effect after taking 2 very small doses, but I did!! I was taking the EXACT formula of this product and EXACT dose prior to the new prescription refill from Sky Ridge. The previous prescription was purchased directly from Dr's office and I had no side effects. Dr no longer provides purchasing this product from his office, thus I ended up at Sky Ridge. I did a Google search since it was over the weekend and made a clear connection with my side effect and the compounded product I purchased (which was very expensive). When I called their office to discuss this, the pharmacist was defensive and refused to take any responsibility for my side effect(s) or the lack of information regarding "possible" side effects. They claimed they do not need to provide this information to their patients, which I confirmed.... unfortunately they don't. She said she would have her supervisor call me back. However the supervisor never had the courtesy to call me back, or anyone else from that office. When the old prescription and new prescription are the exact same formula and one causes a severe side effect, and the other one didn't and never did, I believe there is cause to question ingredients and/or method of processing - which can be a valid safety concern! I feel they should have refunded my money when I asked them to do so, but they refused. I will NEVER use them again. I would strongly advise whomever reads this review to beware of this pharmacy.

In addition to offering a full-service pharmacy, the small retail space offers some of the typical stuff you'd find in a drugstore, plus extras like wheelchairs, walkers and other medical necessities. I love the fact that they carry several non-prescription items that I've never seen at the big box stores (oral rinses, skin care, etc.). The level of customer service is what will keep me coming back. While browsing the shelves, the very friendly pharmacist asked if he could help me find anything. He also informed me that if I was unable to find what I was looking for it would be no problem to order it, at no extra cost to me. He even provided a free bottle of water so I could stay hydrated while I perused the shelves. At first, I thought TKS to be a great pharmacy, but my opinion has changed dramatically. The one positive thing I can say is that the wait is always short. Now the things that have gotten worse over time: 1. The staff are not well trained, nor are they always pleasant (pharmacist included). Turnover seems high which indicates problems at the business. 2. They rarely have the medications I take daily on hand despite needing refills every month. Thus, they always "have to order them". Orders rarely arrive when promised and were sometimes not ordered at all until I arrived to get them. Extra trips = poor service. 3. They are inconsistent in what they charge and especially inconsistent or uneducated about pharmaceutical company savings cards or programs. 4. It is ironic that they play religious / Christian music yet have no qualms about overcharging their customers and refusing to rectify the situation. I am tired of having to work so hard just to pay the correct amount and not what they demand. Way too much hassle! The final straw was being told I had to pay nearly $200 for a refill that has cost me $25 for years. They insisted my savings card was applied correctly. I pushed back. The pharmacist (Alice) was very rude and told me to call my insurance company. She clearly did not understand that the issue was not related to insurance. I paid the demanded price and asked how to get a refund when I resolved the issue. The pharmacist said they don't do refunds. Honestly, the problem was on the TKS side, and they should have resolved it. Maybe they'll give my overpayment to Jesus. I immediately went to Walmart to ask the price for the same medication. They gave me the correct copay of $25. This was no more than 10 minutes after I paid eight times that amount to TKS. Because of all these increasingly negative issues and experiences, I will no longer give them my business and cannot recommend them.
