I'm writing this in late December, 2021. It's just after midnight...this location is closed. They were open 24 hours, but according to an employee working at the closest 24 hour Walgreen to me, (I'm in downtown Denver) the issue was that the south Colorado blvd. location, listed here as the only 24 hour Walgreen's in Denver, stopped being 24 hours a few months ago. The reason, they couldn't staff the store. They now close at 10pm, obviously do your own research for the hours of any WALGREEN'S location before you go out at night. Where is the closest Walgreen's location currently open 24 hours? It's in Parker, CO. South of Denver and at this time, just after Midnight on a Wednesday morning, the drive time is 24 minutes from my address in downtown Denver to the Parker Walgreens.. I live near the baseball stadium. I'm not being sarcastic, how is Denver the #19 most populous city in the country, with out any grocery stores open after 11pm, and not a single overnight Walgreen's location in the Denver metro area? The lack of open business options overnight is the reason that Denver has lost our oldest segment of the city's population. We've had an exodus of these Denver residents, some of them had been here since the 1600's. The nights when you could meet a handsome, charming, 500 year old Vampire in one of Denver's unique bars or neighborhood late night coffee shops, has all but ended. Vampires are not the horrible creates of Hollywood. They are brilliant historians who love to meet people and share lively tales of the past. When did the Vampire exodus begin? When Denver lost the option to shop overnight, You remember when the tents were not everywhere, that's because the "V's" were here. This story is not unique. Sadly, Walgreens and the grocery stores need to decide that paying better wages and being of service to the communities around them, including those who only go out at night, IS THE SOLUTION. Step up Walgreens. This is the #19 largest city in the country. Why are bars, adults bookstores, and & 7/11 stores the only options available 24 hrs a day? I want to get a passport photo at this place. The worker was very rude when he told us that we needed a new shirt. I understand that there's a certain code of conduct, but he could've been very nicer considering that he's in a customer service industry. We then came back with new shirts after he didn't give us any specifications just told us that we needed to change like a middle school teacher. He then told us that the shirts also can't be white. He was very rude. This makes me not want to ever go back to Walgreens read more

People's health rely on this pathetic excuse for a business. Shame on you for failing people like this. Hire more pharmacy staff or shut this place down. I've been trying to call for 4 hours getting hung up on every time. I have prescriptions that can only be filled over the phone. I have questions about other prescriptions. My doctor tried calling and gave up. I even called the customer service desk twice and they said they were letting the pharmacist know that they needed to get my call and I still got hung up on both times. I have an extremely busy full time job in customer service as well, and I stay late at the office because of the time I waste at work trying to call Walgreens. Trying to call in a prescription for a patient never successful after on hold with them over 30 minutes: robot picks, puts me on hold 10-12 minutes, transfers me several times, says "sorry" and hangs up on me. I called back - same thing. Absolutely incredulous, I called a 3rd time and after 16 minutes they hung up on me yet again. Never never using that pharmacy again for any of my patients. Watch the prices as they ring up your items. Every time I go in, things ring up wrong. Sometimes it's just a dollar or two more, sometimes more, today it was a $15 dollar difference. And every time they say they can't do anything about it. read more

I was just on their specific website and I CANNOT believe the amount of one star reviews! What's wrong with this picture! Amy, the pharmacist is WONDERFUL and willing to help anyway she can! I know they are very overworked and OVERPRICED but I really get tired of the Pharmacists who play GOD! On several occasions my Dr has approved a medication to be filled a couple days early, one which was a vacation early fill and a Pharmacist wouldn't do it! We were going to the mountains and there aren't any pharmacy's there! I'm not driving two hours to fill a prescription! Terrible customer service with demeaning staff. I am walking down isle and hear two employees go "shh customer behind you" as they were obviously talking about something bad. I asked where eye drops were and she scoffs and points to area. As I turn the corner she goes "that's the 12th person to ask today". Come to find out she is the manager. This review won't do much if that's the case but if corporate cares about their brand they may wanna look into a replacement. Didn't know it was such an inconvenience for someone to do their job. I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for many years but never have I seen it have so many problems. The pharmacy doesn't answer their phone and to stop it from ringing will answer and put you on hold without a word and leave you there indefinitely. I want to stress that if you ever do get through the people who work there are very helpful they are just overwhelmed and need more help. I love this location.... Only because of the Pharmacists. They are just amazing! However, the TECHS,... now those girls have ego the size of this continent and constantly on power trip. I am so frustrated I haven't been able to stop crying. They have been charging me for my meds but I have insurance. I talked to my insurance company and they gave me a set of numbers which apparently been placed wrong while charging the insurance so they can't approve the charges. So I called the pharmacy to give them the numbers. Because in 4 hours the insurance company could not get thru to their phones. After 3 days and 8 hours finally the in store tech answers and she told me to actually get off the phone or she will only place me on hold. And she did. For over 7 hours I have been on hold. The insurance company can't get thru. And this ego tripped tech does not even talk to me long enough to hear me and know that I have the numbers. I have a high fever and am quite sick. I was sending a shopper to pick up my meds. Now I have to go myself and if you knew who sick I was, you'd know what a torture that is. I don't understand why no one is firing this girl??? The pharmacy department is great. I am in middle of a cross country trip and I had forgotten my anti-migraine medication. Because it is also an anti-seizure medication, it can be dangerous to suddenly stop taking it. I had suffered horrible headaches for the last several days without it, and decided to see if I could refill my existing prescription. When I got to the counter, the pharmacist noted that I had two records in file for my name (which she efficiently merged). Since I had recently filled my prescription, I wouldn't be able to get a full supply again but she suggested a "vacation supply" which was covered by my insurance. Hallelujah! She was very kind and understanding, and enormously helpful. We went in the store last night and the gentleman working the register was also polite and helpful. This is a 24/7 location and am so happy it is across the street from our hotel. read more

Can I give them negative stars? I'd like to give them a -2. I'm a disabled woman with a chronic condition that makes my life difficult and painful. I have enough challenges that I face without having to worry about my pharmacist being a mean, judgmental, rude, ineffective jerk. But he was anyway. It was almost like he felt it was his personal job to make me feel bad and cry once a month when I came into get my prescriptions filled. He repeatedly "lost" my scripts, put them aside and ignored them, put arbitrary holds on them that none of the other pharmacists could explain, etc. when I asked what I could do to help the process and make his job easier, he scoffed and said "YOU can't DO anything." Not sure what he was trying to imply with his choice of enunciation, but honestly it just felt antagonistic. At a point, I would actually start to get anxiety around 3 days before my pickup date, and it would rise until my meds were finally picked up. On the months I was mobile enough to pick them up, I would have to breathe through it and give myself a pep talk in the car. On the months my husband had to pick them up, he would get all sorts of excuses and so many times they'd lie when you called and say the prescriptions were not ready when they were, or that they were ready when they weren't. What even is the point of that? The rest of the pharmacy staff was overworked, I'm sure underpaid, and noticeably miserable. Half of them would try to smile and be friendly if you engaged them in pleasantries, (i.e. "how are you today?" Or "thank you so much, I appreciate your help"), and the other half would glare and grumble and ignore any and all conversations or even questions about medications. Speaking of calling, if you need to talk to the pharmacy, have fun with that. I was on hold each and every time I called, which since they were constantly losing/misplacing/ignoring the prescriptions my doctor sent in was monthly. And by on hold, I mean on hold for a *minimum* of a half hour. Then, if you were lucky, you might get to talk to the crabby pharmacist or crabby and overworked tech, but you're just as likely to have your call dropped, or you can hear someone pick it up and hear the background Pharmacy noise-only to hear them hang up on you. After that happens the second or third time and it's a min hold time of 30 minutes, my patience had usually eroded to about nothing. I switched pharmacies 18+ months ago to an independent. My new pharmacist is the kindest, most empathetic woman. She owns the pharmacy and her employees are all in good spirits and kind as well. They ask how I'm feeling, and when my husband has to pick up my meds because Im not physically able they always send well wishes with him. Remember what it was like before we let monopolistic corporations turn us all into dollar signs? That's what my pharmacy is like now. I actually look forward to picking up my scripts now. I bring the staff cookies or stickers or little things just to show them I appreciate them. And they have my prescriptions ready on time every month without complaint. Strangely all of those "necessary" holds and delays at WG every month don't exist. What a surprise. We've switched all of our household scripts from Walgreens. I've also talked about 10 of my friends into switching theirs from Walgreens as well. I sent a detailed, but professional email to them when I first switched, and never got so much as an auto reply response. I've now made it my life's work to get people away from this awful company that could not care less about helping people. I just hope Walgreens goes the way of Blockbuster and finally goes under because they've treated their customers and employees like garbage in the name of making some sociopathic billionaires richer. If they do, I'll chuckle and move about my day. Shop independent-it's the only way we can get away from this nightmare system of monopolies feeding the society-destroying top fraction of a percent all of the wealth that they just sit on and hoard. These people would spend millions to keep from having to give a poor person a nickel. It needs to stop. And while they do so, they erode all of our basic services that they hold power over into inefficient, overpriced, headache inducing experiences. What started as a more convenient way to do things is the absolute opposite now. read more

Horrible Rx service. The pharmacy closes down for lunch and is unable to fill prescriptions. Most successful businesses are able to coordinate things as simple as associate lunches so the entire operation doesn't shut down. read more

Horrible horrible pharmacy. You wait two hours on the phone and then are hung up on, and you are not given your full prescription if any at all. It's embarrassing, extremely unsafe for people who NEED prescriptions, and they shouldn't even be allowed to be open anymore. Terrible customer service. My pediatrician sent an rx for my toddler for pink eye. Gave the pharmacy an hour before I called to check on the status. The technician who I spoke to was very inefficient because I asked her to sign me up for text message alerts so I wouldn't be having to call and wait 20 minutes to check on the status. I waited all day to receive an alert and nothing so 30 minutes before they closed I go to try to pick up the rx and the technician tells me they do not have it in stock and that it won't be ready until Monday. It would have been nice to receive a notification so that I would be able to make arrangements and try to get it filled elsewhere with the importance of a toddler having pink eye. What a joke for a wallgreens. I came to get a beard trimmer and asked the front counter to unlock the case for me so I could get the beard trimmer. The cashier sat there and told me that they don't have the keys to open the cases... she tried to tell me they were only for display. So I then went back to the bears trimmer and hit the customer service button and after about 10 minutes someone showed up with the key and opened it for me. DO NOT EVER or DELIVERY from WALGREENS. They delay the order with its should be a 1-2 hour hour. If you call the store that lie and say there computer is down. Which makes zero sense Walgreens can function without a computer. They charge you right away don't deliver and if you have to drive to the store they make you pay for all your items again and tell you to request a refund from your bank. Definitely won't be using them for anything again what a waste. Do advertise that you deliver to be competitive with door dash and Uber they actually deliver you DON'T: also if you call they hand up on you worse service I've been experienced by far. Love how this Walgreens has reviews soooo low they've removed they're address to try to keep people from finding them. This place has the single most incompetent pharmacy I have ever used. They'll lie about trying to contact your doctor and they ignore notes on customer accounts to call the customer about prescription delays. They let prescriptions sit in delay for weeks at a time ignoring multiple attempts by the doctor to re-send the prescription. They require a handwritten note to process every change in prescription dosage or they'll claim they think it's a mistake. Claim they contacted your doctor who has proof there were no contact attempts and then just let the script sit indefinitely because they're lazy and they don't care about the customers. They take some kind of pleasure seemingly from being as frustrating and rude as possible and barring people's access to their necessary medications. read more

Went to pharmacy at 8pm on Thursday night to get prescription filled while wait. Even though pharmacy is open until 11pm they indicated it 'would probably' not be filled until the morning. 3 hours and they can't turn around medication while I wait. Unacceptable. read more

This place is always busy. I used to work near here, and it did not matter if it was 8am, Noon, 6pm or Midnight, the place was hopping. The parking lot can get pretty full during peak hours. Despite the constant stream of customers, the employees here manage to keep the store fairly clean, and have good attitudes. I dropped in the other day for a passport photo, and this was handled very quickly. I had more issues getting the attention of a pharmacist, but eventually one assisted me. All in all, it could be a lot worse at this Walgreens. read more

Well stocked, private lot parking. But it's off of Colorado Blvd, so you have to deal with traffic. And the employees seem... not so motivated to help. I came here on a mission to get myself a humidifier. After searching online and at Bed Bath and Beyond, I was given the tip that the Walgreens brand was pretty good AND affordable. This particular location had them in stock. Yippee! I walk in and there's a huge display. Traditional humidifiers (with filters) and two sizes of the ultrasonic humidifiers. So, three types of humidifiers but only two signs advertising the prices of them. I ask an employee and she tells me she doesn't know how much the third humidifier costs. No offer to check for me, which I thought was strange. Is that me having unreasonable expectations? So, I had to grab a cart, load up both humidifiers and take them over to the checkout lane. I decide which one to buy, and check out. For some reason, it irks me that she puts a sticker on my receipt asking me to rate her service. Really? Do YOU think you were all that helpful? I mean, yes, you rang up my order and stuff, but isn't that ... standard? Anyway. Come here if you know what you want and you don't mind asking for a price check. Don't come here if you're expecting anyone to be truly helpful. read more

Get this, my phone is at one percent I come in and ask very politely to use and outlet for a few minutes to charge my phone so I could get an Uber to get back the airport. Also it's around 11:30 pm everything is closed Walgreens is my last hope at this point and the lady at the register tells me that I can't use an outlet. I don't know if it's store policy but this was clearly an emergency and this Walgreens didn't help me. read more

10-12-2022. 645pm. Called to ensure they had the shingles vax in stock. Pharm put me on hold to check. 17 mins later I hung up and called back. Went thru phone screening and was on hold another 18 mins and hung up. Tried again. 13 mins on hold hung up. 4th call, I hit zero to talk to store people, not pharm. Got a manger on phone and he apologized and verified they had vax and someone to give shot. I drove over and went to pharm area. Three girls there and they asked if I had appointment. I said I spoke to a manager and he said come in. They said not without an appointment so I asked to talk to the person I spoke with on phone. They said wait for pharmacist. Waited 15 mins and say them talking in back. Girl come back and says pharmacist says no. I asked to talk to the person I spoke with on the phone and they said he went home. Great service Walgreens. Will never be back and will tell everyone I know about the customer service. read more

This pharmacy is hands down the most incompetent and inefficient pharmacy I've ever used. I gave them 3 separate tries in 3 separate months and each time was EXTREMELY disappointed. I called my insurance and the pharmacist 3 hrs prior to getting my Rx filled today to make sure I wouldn't have issues like the past 2 Times. I was given the go ahead by both, told it would take 20 min to fill once I brought it in. Long story short, it took 1 hr for them to do nothing. Never got the Rx because they weren't billing it correctly (which I found out after calling my insurance again). They left my insurance people on hold for 30 minutes until the lady from my insurance gave up and said I should just go to another pharmacy. I wasted an hour an a half of my work day and not one person at the pharmacy apologized a single time. read more
