When we contacted customer service, instead of taking responsibility, they made us pay for the replacement items upfront and told us we'd only get a refund once the incorrect items were returned. This is such a poor way to do business. If a company makes a mistake--especially on an order this expensive--they should be the ones to fix it without putting the burden on the customer. To make matters worse, when the reordered items arrived, they were missing parts. Between the lack of accountability, the customer service frustration, and the quality control issues, this has been a stressful and disappointing experience. I expected much better from a company of this size. Would not recommend based on our experience.

After ordering it online, I received a notification that it was ready for pickup, but store staff advised it would not arrive for another 7-10 days. During the same visit, another tile was listed as having over 5,000 pieces available, while store staff indicated only about 400 could be found. The conflicting inventory and pickup information resulted in multiple unnecessary trips and significant time lost during an active home renovation project. Customers and store associates appear to be working with inaccurate information. This system needs to be fixed and in the meantime, there needs to be a notice on the website that the system is down.

I would NOT recommend them as they just give a lot of lip service and we feel perhaps they were more interested in larger jobs, just wish they would have told us this 3 weeks ago.

Most of them were traditional (even COLONIAL) style which... aren't we done with that yet?!?! 250 years later? Anyway, I kept googling and binging and was not able to find a local showroom for plumbing supplies and fixtures. The searches were filled with ads for places in New Jersey or Wisconsin. Finally, I found Ultra Design Center buried on page 2 or 3 on my fifth attempt. I visited them immediately and am so glad I did. They offer a range of european and some american offerings that cost a little more than Lowe's, but with a huge selection, and cleaner, smarter designs. Stuff that Lowe's might carry in 5-10 years. The prices are 20% higher, but well worth it imo, because most of the choices from the big box stores were made in china. We went with Kitchens on Broadway after receiving a glowing recommendation from neighbors who had a great experience. Unfortunately, we later discovered that the designer they worked with had left the company, along with several other senior designers. We skipped doing our own homework and ended up regretting it. We paid a $1,200 design fee, and after six months--only after we had repeatedly asked for our money back--we finally received renderings and a layout that essentially copied a design we had already created ourselves using free online software and had provided to them three months earlier, so this was incredibly disappointing. Since then, we've done our own research and found several other reputable kitchen and bath designers in the Denver area who offer an initial design, budget estimate, and timeline before requiring any payment. Often being able to provide an initial design within 2 weeks. That level of transparency and professionalism made us realize how far off our experience here was. I strongly recommend doing your due diligence as there are better options out there.
