Great, great, great experience! Can I add about 10 more greats? I bought the experience to create your own scent for my mom, and I tagged along. Esther was wonderful and very educated on this. She taught us the history, how to apply scents, and scents that work with our body chemistry. The experience took a little less than 2 hours, and I created an amazing scent for myself that I love wearing all the time. This is an amazing experience to complete or give as a gift. The store and staff is a wonderful, so even if you don't want to create a scent, come visit for the products they sell (and their knowledge). read more

Had a really fun experience making my own cologne at Scented Studio. I took the scented workshop where you smell 24 different scent blends to pick your favs and then they make your cologne based from that. The whole thing took a couple of hours and is a fun weekend activity for a couple as long as you leave yourself enough time. There's a whole range of oils, bath bombs, body whips and more to choose from which are all I scented but can be infused with your custom scent. A great gift idea if you're looking for something for a significant other. Highly recommended. read more

This place is cute! Nicely decorated and I was greeted by staff and the owners pet dog! Cutest and sweetest doggy ever! You are given an introduction about pricing and the process for making your own scent. You can make body scrub bath salt lotion perfume or body mist. They have a table with tons of scent all categorized according to class like fruit citrus woodsy musk spice etc. I had my mind set on a fruity fragrance. I picked 5 that I really liked and there is someone there to help you choose the ratios of each scent you would like. You are given sampler paper sticks with each scent and waved in front of your nose as a tester. Then viola they go make your scent! Prices are a little steep but you get a custom made fragrance. My body mist cost 19.95 with tax 21.50. Parking can be difficult. We parked in a plaza parking lot and walked over. I highly recommend this place! read more

Just got back from their Valentines evening scented creations event. I didn't know much about perfumes and making colognes and the like, so I was a little unsure as to what to expect in creating my own scents. Turns out this is addictive fun! They have a massive range of essential oils and they take a lot of time in helping you find a mix that smells wonderful. You can make just about any kind of scented product you want to, from cremes, to soaps to roll on oils to perfume and cologne. But the best part was playing with the scents. From to the top note smells to the lingering base notes, you can while away the hours teasing your senses as you try to guess what each smell is like, and what it might pair well with. This is NOT a wasted few hours doing scratch and sniff at Bath & Body Works. You will feel like a true creator as you test out all the scents and learn so much about things you always loved they way they smell, but never knew what made them that way. The staff is friendly and helpful and laid back. A very comfortable environment for both men and women. I highly recommend going to try it out. read more

Cool, cool place! Randomly stumbled on this place when I saw their A-frame sign on the corner talking about a 20% off sale. This place is slightly hidden on the upper level of a building. If I had more time, I would have experimented with making my own custom scents. However, the signature lotions and body butters they pre-blend are all awesome (and slightly cheaper than blending your own). They were even asked by the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy's to provide their products for the gift bags. 4 special fragrances were made; of course, I had to buy one! Customer service is great. They happily explain the fragrance classes, show you the products they've already created for purchase, and offer the custom blend experience. All without any pressure to purchase anything. When I was accidentally charged twice because of a mix-up on a sale product, I called the store. It wasn't a big deal, I had made the transaction difficult and ended up with 3 receipts. They refunded the extra charge immediately and offered me a $10 credit to use in their store. I didn't feel that was necessary and it was worked out quickly. The next time I went to their store, my name was "flagged" in their customer database so I automatically got the $10 off my purchase. I told them I didn't need it, but they insisted. They take care of their customers and want to keep them. I'll definitely be a loyal customer. On a side note, the Sparkling Strawberry lotion is one of the only scented lotions my boyfriend can stand. Better stock up! read more

We went today for the first time for a birthday gathering. I was so impressed with the staff's knowledge and willingness to make each customized scent perfect. They were patient and kind. We all had so much fun and we are already making plans to go back. The pricing is great too! I got custom products for less than what I would've had to spend on the generic items at any retail store. First off the people that work here (and their giant dog) are very friendly and helpful. They have a lot of lotions, soaps and oils created that are in line with seasonal scents, and also the option of designing your own custom scent from about 500 bottles of essential oils. (There may be more than 500. I am guessing.) We happened to park in a meter in front of their store while on the way to lunch, or may not have found them. We had some extra time to spend, so I drug my husband up the stairs to their business with me. While I was looking at some of the pre-made items, he was checking out the oils. He wears Eternity and asked if they knew what was in it. Instantly they had a couple of oils to let him smell and were spot on. I ended up buying some floral and fruity lotions and love them. Was also surprised that their prices are not Cherry Creek expensive. They have space available for classes and parties, and I think this would be a very fun place to go for a bridal shower or night out with the girls. read more

Fun place to go with a group- in our case a group of girlfriends. The fragrances you can actually make are somewhat limited. They have pre-blended "house blends" and they definitely don't have individual notes you can select. It was fun, I didn't love my perfume when I left and I like it less every day since but it was still a fun afternoon. My friend purchased me a pass to the Scented Studio Workshop for my birthday, and we just went last week together. It was such a fun experience! I loved getting to smell a bunch of different combinations and deciding which were our favorites. We didn't know what the actual scents were until after we chose are favorites, and we got a lot of them wrong! It was pretty funny. What a fun place! The service is fabulous. Two of the women who work there sat down with me and walked me through all of the types of oils. I came in trying to recreate a scent that was on a hot towel during a facial I had recently had - I thought it would be super difficult to pinpoint, but these lovely ladies only took about ten minutes to create an essential oil for me that smelled exactly like what I wanted to recreate-- a basil/lime/calming scent. That's talent! The price was very reasonable and they gave me two samples (their lotion and their whipped body butter). I will be back to purchase the whipped body butter- free samples are a great way to get more business! read more

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly the second you walk in the door. Inside they sell essential oil and beautiful soaps. The staff there will help you mix essential oils to make blends that suit your preference. My favorite that I got is lemongrass sage... it smells amazing. The staff also puts everything into a computer so you can come back and mix the same blends if you found one you particularly liked. As part of our weekend "Valentine's Day" this year I took my wife here as part of the getaway. We purchased the VIP package for both of us. I picked scents that I loved the smell of for her, and some for me. She did the same. Then we combined the scents to make a cologne for me and a perfume for her that we both selected the scents. It was a wonderful experience. The woman who lead us through the VIP experience was amazing. We both left very happy with the experience and are still very happy with our individualized colognes and perfumes. And we made they are made up of scents we both love, so they are perfect. We'll be back for sure. They can also make other products (soaps, lotions, beard oils, etc). You'll name your product and when you come in next time they can look it up and recreate it for you. So I can purchase my wife's perfume and my cologne and it be the same every time :) Great product, great service, and a wonderful valentines experience!! read more

We were in to visit this shop today. We had an incredibly wonderful visit until the end. We were welcomed right away and the people that helped us at the essential oils table are supremely talented and genuinely caring people. You can tell they love what they do. We were definitely there for a long time today. It was the middle of the afternoon and Cherry Creek was in the middle of an Arts Festival so I'm sure they had been bombarded all day. That being said, we definitely did not appreciate being rushed out. We had been enjoying such a wonderful experience with such kind and knowledgeable people and to suddenly be rushed out because there were a couple of other people coming into the store, just seemed strange. There were upwards of 5 employees (more than enough to help everyone in the store) walking around so we thought we could just sit and enjoy ourselves. We spent around $220, which is a LOT for us (we are not from Cherry Creek and we had been saving up for this special trip). The darn thing was, we would have spent a LOT more money if we hadn't felt so rushed. A LOT. Thank you to the amazing girls that helped us make beautiful and unique scents and were so patient with us. We truly appreciate it. And thank you for complimenting my son. We had been working on him being calm and polite in public and they made us and him feel great! Family friendly for sure! Hoss was a joy as well! read more

This place really is a gem. I stopped in today to get an anniversary gift with my wife and I was pleasantly surprised when the store clerk, Ester, jumped right into the VIP experience without having to be asked. She taught us the store, gave us free reign to design her own perfume, and really went through the ins and outs of what a store like this entails. I went here over the weekend for a bridal party. We did the make your own scent class. It was a lot of fun and very interesting to learn about all the different scents. They have questionnaires to get a better idea of what you like and what you are looking for in a fragrance. You get to smell 22 different scents and combine them to create your very own signature perfume! We enjoyed wine and water while laughing and learning. The studio owner was the one that directed the class and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. We each got to take a 1oz bottle of our signature scent home as a part of the experience. The studio is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It was supposed to be 90 minutes but went a little over because the staff needs time to mix up your creations. I would recommend doing this as a fun day event; it was nice to do something different. Also, this is a great spot to find a unique gift. read more

Fun girls weekend or bachelorette party activity. I attended the 2-hour Scented Journeys workshop to create my own custom perfume. Our group only had three people, but they can easily accommodate much larger groups. I felt like the workshop was good value for $55 in that you get two hours of fun plus a bottle of your own custom scent in nice packaging. I think you can bring in outside food and decorations, which is great for birthdays or bachelorette parties. Staff were extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. I was very particular about my custom scent and I never felt rushed. They were patient when I kept changing my mind. I purchased some additional items like lotion and soap in my custom scent as well. Staff keep the blend of your scent on file and you can call them anytime to reorder. They will ship too. After my workshop, I was also allowed to explore their collection of essential oils and make my own blends. We were there about three hours total and staff were very hospitable. read more
