I especially love their vast selection of stationery, the baby & kids section, and all the seasonal items. Everything in store feels carefully curated to be both high quality and unique-- not your run of the mill stuff. They constantly get new items in, so it's always a pleasure to come browse. This shop was great! I attend a lot of artisan fairs and shops. This was a really good one. Some of the comments say it's congested and cluttered but I think that is kind of the beauty of it. You can take your time looking through all of the different sections of the store. Even though each section is full the store is well organized. All of the artisan jewelry, candles, and pottery are all together in their own sections. Everything is beautiful and unique. With reasonable prices, I noticed that they have toys, books, novelties, kitchen supplies etc. for ages 1-100!! I especially love how you're able to create and make your own gift ideas with the tools and crafts of the shop itself. I can make a birdhouse, a quilt, a doll or even have a little fun and make something new and unique to give to a good friend of mine. I'm guessing it is geared towards tourist, but I think it's a fun place to shop. They always have a good selection of ceramic mugs, and it's a good place to find a gift for someone who is hard to shop for. unlike many shops, they actually carry items I would like. The fact that this place is has been in Cherry Creek North for over 30 years says something positive. Most other boutiques don't last long because they're only good for window shopping, and saying they are in Cherry Creek North before joining the mounting 3rd Street Casualty List. When I'm in the 'hood, I inevitably walk in here (cool half door), not just because it's a cool place to buy a gift, but because it makes me smile. There's something for everyone, providing that someone is usually a chick. Last time I was in there a few days ago, they reminded me they have 4 buyers, very cool. Staff is friendly and helpful, cards and knicknacks from cute to silly to poignant. They go from pricey all the way down to spark spewing nuns. As another review pointed out, aisle space isn't big, more suited to The Cherry Creek Waif Club. Should you sport an ample buttocks, you might inadvertently buy some perfume. One of the few places left that will do a nice wrapping job, even for inexpensive purchases. This place hasn't been around for 30 years by sucking. read more

They will gift wrap anything you buy from here, no matter how unimportant it might seem to you. I didn't expect them to offer to gift wrap the two magnets I bought here today, because, well, they're magnets. And the place was really busy. And I thought they'd try to rush me through the check-out process. But no. They wrapped the $14.00 necklace I bought for my mom, AND the overpriced (but clever) magnets I bought for friends that cost $5.50 each. I love how gifted and talented their wrapping makes everything look. I walked in 15 minutes before they closed on Christmas Eve 2013 and the staff was welcoming and friendly. That's the true test of retail- if staff are still helpful and friendly at the end of the holiday shopping season!! Very cozy and intimate inside, unique items cover ever corner of the inside. I enjoyed perusing all the jewelry, necklaces, hats, scarves, glassware, pottery, note cards, frames, and everything else in between. Most items appear to be locally made. You can find items for $8 as well as items for over $100. Mom, sister, daughter, son, infant, you could find something for everyone. I adore the Artisan Center! A few years ago I was waiting for an appointment nearby the Artisan Center to which I arrived early (those of you who know me - don't laugh, it's true, I was early once) and to pass the time I started wandering around to nearby businesses. I found the Artisan Center and I literally did not want to leave! This store has something for everyone, and like some of my other favorite locations, I could literally lap the store two or more times and never see the same thing twice. The Artisan Center is a great place to find a gift for any person and any occasion and on any budget. And - the Artisan Center has the BEST wrapping you'll ever find. Their staff make the best packages, thoughtfully combining fun ribbon colors and little trinkets that are so distinctive. As one of the few remaining local businesses in Cherry Creek North (thanks to Chris Anschutz), The Artisan Center is a great place to find an affordable gift or a treat for yourself. Most of their jewelry is done by locals (thus "Artisan" Center) and they have lots of cool and funky kitchen and bath items as well as unusual cards and stationary. Go on a mid-week afternoon especially if you're claustrophobic as the store is very small - watch your elbows or you might knock something over. My family and I walked by this store a few weeks ago moments after it had closed, so, being the normal folk we are, we all squished our faces against the windows to see what we had missed. Turns out a lot. Just from the Christmas trees in the windows we all picked out about a hundred things we would like, and in fact I was sent back to get a certain birdcage ornament. When I actually perused the store, I found things that all of my friends and family would love. Lotions, potions, and baubles! OH MY!! The staff was very friendly, but stayed out of my way. However, if you are looking for little gifts for someone that you are not 100% what to get them (especially for girls) you might find something here. The Artisan Center is an amazing little store in Cherry Creek North. They have very unique trinkets, bags, gifts, cards, bath soaps, lotions and jewelry. All of the employees are very nice and helpful. Whenever I go there with my friend who likes to try on every piece of jewelry in the cases, they don't bat an eye at helping her out. The ladies of Artisan Center often times will remember you and upon seeing you enter the store, will point out something they think you will love based upon your prior purchases. And they are usually correct! They do a lovely job at gift wrapping and will wrap anything you buy. Even the tiniest glass animals another friend collects. It's always a pleasure to give and/or receive a lovely package from Artisan Center. It is a small space so as some of the other reviewers mentioned sometimes it's hard to get around the other shoppers, but as long as people leave their strollers outside it's not that big of a deal. The only drawback is as is true with all CC North establishments, the parking situation. But if you are patient you can usually find a spot on the street and pay $1-2 for a couple of hours. read more

Love love love the Artisan Center. This is my go-to place for cards, gifts, and anytime I'm looking for "a little something". They also have obsessively beautiful, unique jewelry for all tastes (and price ranges). The staff is very knowledgeable (quiz them on any artist they feature in the store!) and can help you select just the right thing, or they'll leave you alone to peruse. We were out strolling on our day off and randomly started poking in the sale bin outside The Artisan Center. Found a really unique and amusing notebook that was perfect for my sister-in-law. Despite the little note that gift wrapping was not available on the sale stuff outside, the gal at the counter did an absolutely gorgeous wrapping job on the little notebook. This place is a treasure trove with goodies to fit every budget (really!). Even though I usually go in looking for gifts, I always wind up coming out with a bunch of things for myself.
