I love that they have so many toys. They have jelly cats and smiskis which is very hard to find now a days!

I'm so happy that my daughter took me to this shop. Cuteness overload! Lots of quirky fascinating items to choose from. There was also a children's section to explore besides the main part of the shop that was busting with interesting stuff at affordable prices. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Their passion for the shop glowed and they had time to chat with us. There's street parking and close to walking distance of other shops and restaurants. They a Halloween display out. I just HAD to buy a unique witch hat and a cute spider! Can't wait to see their Christmas decorations! Keep up the good work! read more

I had some extra time before my flight and wanted to see if there was anything to kill a short amount of time in the Denver area. On a whim, I decided to see if I can find any Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters on hand at any of the shops and lo and behold, Google Maps told me that Talulah Jones had some and I went to double check on their social media account and they do! The shop is located in downtown Denver and is fairly easy to find from the gold sign front, the art of the animals having tea time outside, and just from the cute set up of the goods they have in the storefront. I was immediately welcomed when I stepped in and I say this with the utmost praise, but it's a cute, cluttered, maximalist shop! Piled from the ground up and onto the walls are super cute decor, knick knacks, toys and so much more. Perfumes, greetings cards, stickers, blind boxes, clothing for toddlers and infants, stuffed animals, unique hair clips and trinkets, felted ornaments, cuckoo clocks, clothes for adults, and so, so much more. If you're a child you can definitely spend hours in here and even as an adult shopping for a gift for a child or yourself, you'll spend a good chunk of time looking through their wares as well. I believe they are quite popular for their Jellycat plushies as I heard people ordering and inquiring about them on the phone and saw some customers purchase some. I managed to find my Calico Critters on a tall shelf but a staff was able to assist me. I got the Walnut Squirrel Family which is my favorite family (not in stock on their official online shop during this time and I didn't want to pay import taxes) and they had the Happy Christmas Family which I believe was only released in the UK/Japan, so I can't even find this one online on the official shop. Score! I also got some cute puffy stickers. For bypassing the tariffs and shipping, I think Talulah Jones is a fair, affordable place, at least to get Calico Critters. Would love to visit again. read more

This is an interesting shop with a lot of fun stuff. You'll find Jelly Cats here as well as a lot more. It's an eclectic shop.We were allowed to browse without worry and there's a lot to browse. read more

Please do not support this business not welcoming at all! And very rude I went in to buy needohs for my children and immediately was asked to hand over my bag I just walked right out because you don't treat people that way also they are price gouging the needohs read more

Talulah is my go-to for baby showers and birthday parties. I always take advantage of their cute cards and gift wrapping, and their staff are helpful and great with kids. There is so much stuff packed into this tiny shop! They have every kind of stuffed animal under the sun, books, arts & crafts, and so many different toys. (They also have Calico Critters, if you're a collector.) Seriously, though, this store is like a wonderland. My little one always finds things I'd never notice. Other toy stores just don't compare. Parking can be a trick since it's street-only, but if you go during a weekday you can usually get a spot right out front. Saturdays are very busy! Don't miss out on this toy shop--if you ever need a gift for a baby or a kid, this is the place. read more

They posted on their social media about a needoh drop, obviously with the high demand people are going to go for needohs. instead of being excited about the business they are about to receive the owner instead being irritated, quoted "if you're here for needohs maybe wonder around we have other things" in a pretty snarky attitude and even whispered to employees that people are always here for needohs and complaining about it. if you don't want people there for just needohs, don't publicly post it. People are happy to support small boutiques, but when you're complaining and being upset about it, people aren't going to support. read more

They have great products. But, customer service was very poor. I went in for needohs and there were other people there going after a video was posted of a needoh drop. The owner then complained about how people were there for needohs and quoted "if you are here for needohs you should wander around" with a nasty attitude. Also, she complained to fellow employees about how people only come in for needohs. Don't sell certain items or post videos about them if you are unhappy about it. read more

I had a great visit today at Talulah Jones and was helped by Holly and Lauren. Immediately after entering it felt like a personal shopping expedience! The clerks were knowledgable about the product and could quickly direct me to what I was looking for -- they offered assistance in gift wrapping, free of charge, after spending some time assisting me in making my additional purchases. So very helpful, I'll be back to support a local business! read more

The largest selection of baby/toddler/young children's toys, clothes, unique gifts in the area! The sales person really knew her inventory and was able to find exactly what I was looking for for a newborn. The store has other selections, unrelated to children that I believe our seasonal as it was close to Easter and there were many, many rabbits.! read more

What an amazing local shop! The sales humans were so helpful, kind, and clearly loved being there. The place is packed with all kinds of great treasures ranging from less than a dollar to hundreds. You are sure to find something for everyone on your gift list. We I found shower bombs which is so cool for those of us her do not like baths. At $6 each they are a fun small gift idea. The coolest thing wad a vintage TV with a Christmas scene in it. See the attached video. In the window is a street lamp with reindeer going around the outside. Adorable!! Highly recommend checking it out. Buy and support local for the win! read more

I'm honestly super bummed. I used to come here all the time to get my friends and family gifts and have always appreciated the kind staff who have helped me out. I recently went in for mother's day shopping, carrying a small canvas bag and after shopping for five minutes I was approached by an older woman and asked to put my bag behind the cash register because of a no bag policy. I tried to explain that I have been here recently with the same bag and I have never had an issue, and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my bag behind the register. I saw a couple other people with fairly larger purses than what my canvas bag was, and as someone who doesn't use a purse and instead uses a canvas bag, I find this policy incredibly silly for bags that aren't big backpacks and inconsistency used. The older woman who was working there made me feel profiled and singled out. I'm not sure what created the issue for me, as there were women with large purses shopping with their bags on their arms. I'm not trying to blame it on profiling but I am a brown person with an alt style and fairly different looking compared to the other customers in the shop. I am super disappointed and will not be returning to Tallulah Jones. read more

Super cute spot with all sorts of knick knacks, arts and crafts, and children's toys. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Such a cute find/shop. read more

Talulah Jones has become my go to place for gifts over the years. It's a fun place to shop for kids in particular, as it has a veritable zoo of stuffed animals of all kinds and sizes. There are fun arts & crafts, games, books and absolutely the cutest clothing. There are also great host gifts for the kitchen enthusiast, fashionista, or writer, and the front window always rotates with fun seasonable items as well. It's a great place to go if you're feeling stuck on ideas, as there's always something perfectly thoughtful to be had. It can be a bit overwhelming, as it is a well-stocked small space, but don't be shy about asking for help. They're always willing to assist and have excellent ideas for that tough special someone. read more

My go to place for special birthday gifts for everyone on my list- babies, toddlers, kids, guys, gals.

Huge selection of items. Almost overwhelming. There's so many things to look at. I was able to find the perfect birthday gift for my sweetie. The cute little dog that works there was very helpful and encouraging as well! I loved the entire experience. read more

This is a cute little spot that I absolutely love. I was always seeing lines out the door of this store leading up to Christmas and for good reason. The ladies who own and run Talulah Jones are so sweet, they have curated a bunch of unique items, from ornaments, scarves, bags, books, jewelry, and Knick knacks- to their entire children's room in the back! This is the store you must visit when in North Capital Hill. I also brought my puppy In the store and all of the women were so seeet and kind. They came out to say hello to her and the shops own down was coming up to say hello every few minutes. It was really cute. And the gifts I got in the store were all LOVED by my friends. read more

This is a wonderland of cuteness wrapped in, "yes, I need that". They have adorable and unique gifts. The shop is filled with interesting things to see, and buy! The jewelry stood out to me. I ended up buying several gifts for a few people, as well as something for myself. They do have nice sales for bargain enthusiasts, like myself. They took great care to pack up my items for traveling. Lovely shop! read more

Talulah is dangerous. It doesn't matter what I go in looking for, I always find whatever that is and then some. I went this past weekend looking for gifts for a friend who's been feeling down, and found some gorgeous tea, a face mask, and then some cute cards for other people and a cool kiddo gift for a friend's little. The place is on the smaller side but it's jam-packed with cool toys and games and stuff for all ages. I'm never disappointed with a visit here and would recommend it to anyone who likes feeling joy. read more

Oh my this store! Absolute gem, so many good finds. Every inch of the store is adorned with cool stuff, from unique kids toys like dragon stuffed animals and cactus-shaped baby teethers, to kitchen goods and stationary galore (Rifle Paper included!) I picked up some dinosaur stickers (for the dinosaur-obsessed niece) and some Sugarfina champagne gummy bears (for me because why not). But I could have easily spent a lot more, they had so many unique things. I wasn't a fan of the women's clothes section, mostly just vintage stuff that wasn't my style. But they had the absolute cutest (!) little girl's dresses. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one of them. Also, they have finches as pets, so I don't think you could get a more unique or charming shop than that. I also liked that they had Death Cab for Cutie playing in the background. That sold me right then! read more

If you are shopping for a unique birthday gift, baby shower gift, or really *any* sort of gift for a woman or kiddo in your life - Talulah is the spot! We were greeted by a SEA of Jelly Cat stuffies - which are like gold in our family - and promptly purchased many of them! The staff are very helpful and friendly, but not in the "loiter around when you don't need them" way. We can't wait to travel back to CO and bring our kiddos to this adorable little spot. Prices are very affordable and you will find "all the things" here that you can't find anywhere else! read more

Very cute store! I stopped it and looked around and ended up getting a couple of cute cards for upcoming baby showers and a little craft project for myself. This has been my daughters' favorite store their entire lives, and if I'm honest, it's definitely one of mine too. The whole store is packed with magical, whimsical finds that will brighten your day. From my favorite violet pastilles that I thought you could only get in Paris, to jewelry, Calico Critters, books, gifts, and ballerina tutus, this shop is just bursting with delightful surprises. And the owner and staff are just as friendly and helpful as can be. read more

This sweet little shop is the perfect place to shop for the holidays! It has a little bit of everything packed into one store. Half of the store is dedicated to children's clothes and toys for every age. It's filled with unique gifts and clothes. There is a special area just for Christmas decorations and gifts. They are also doing a great job of keeping the store feeling very safe during this time. Since I am dedicated to shopping small for Christmas, I was able to find gifts for most of the kids I am shopping for and some sweet little extras as well. Being in the store was a part of the experience that I am glad I didn't have to miss due to this time. I can't wait to go back! read more

FYI: There will most likely be a line outside because only 5 people are allowed in due to Covid protocols. This place is so fun to browse in! Especially if you are buying a gift for a child... OR one young at heart. I went in for a Christmas gift for a 6 year old and found a gorgeous garden coloring book (in French & English!) and some scented Ooly crayons too. Also, glow in the dark cat tattoos and fun Japanese stickers! On the way out I admired the mural of Isabella Thallas who was shot from an apartment window while walking her dog with her boyfriend. read more

This is such a special shop. There is a set number of shoppers allowed in the store and hand sanitizing before entering is required, therefore it felt very safe for in person shopping. Looking for a gift for that very special person, whether it be a baby, a kid or an adult? Just entering the store is a delightful experience. Very easy for me to find things for me. However, I recently went to buy something for a very special couple who are expecting. The choices were numerous. As they are each time I go in. When I go there to find a gift, there has not been a time when I didn't find something very special. Along with lots of things I'd treasure! read more

Such a gorgeous boutique and home to a diverse assortment of goodies - you could browse this shop for hours and still not see everything. Gifts in every corner. The first room is more for adults (jewelry, home decor, candles, jams, picture frames) and the second for kids (books, toys, stuffed animals, crayons, coloring books), but the entire shop exudes an air of whimsy. Fantastical fairy gardens, twinkle lights, bird cages (the one behind the register is home to real birds) - it's a bit of a wonderland. Pretty and quaint with plenty of products that would make amazing gifts for either gender. Everything is high quality and unique, from the knickknacks to the beauty/spa products to the clothing (lots of kid clothes). The perfect place for treasure hunting. I saw so many random things and thought, "my mom/friend/sister/niece/boss would love this." Definitely give this place a look if you need a memorable present for someone. The prices are pretty reasonable too and the staff is great at offering suggestions. read more

The cutest shop with likely something for everyone: great options for hostess gifts, birthday presents, and "just because." It seems like Talulah Jones really shines in its offerings for kids, though -- there are all kinds of interesting toys and doo-dads that made me wish they were around when I was a kid! Lots of educational-but-fun offerings and a great variety of creative stuffed animals. I also noticed that there was a whole spinner full of fun clothes for babies and toddlers that were labeled "NB," which I assume means non-binary, and any business that is inclusive in its offerings for children gets a bazillion stars in my book. This philosophy also seems to carry over to the toys and games, where nothing is presented in an overtly gendered way. read more

What an interesting place! I have driven past this store for ages and finally dropped in to avoid rush hour one day, and I was glad that I did. Whose-its and whats-its galore. You want thing-a-mabobs? This is your stop. What kind of shop is it? I don't know. They've got some clothing, some ballet shoes (I think), a whole heap of baby things, seasonal items, stuff you'll never see anywhere else, candles, lotions and smellgoods, candies, jewlery, etc... And by etc, I really mean ETC. The staff was so friendly. I didn't find what I was looking for this time, but I feel like it was in there, so I'll be back. There's just something about this store that left me curious, and I need to keep searching till I find it. read more

How have I never been in here until now. This place is truly magical. One of Denver's local shops that offers unique gifts for many occasions. I came here for a child's birthday and fell in love with the handmade hair bows, cute dresses, and whimsical stuffed animals for all the youngsters. They also had lovely cards for all different occasions. They even have stuff for adults. REALLY, this store has something for everyone and you are guaranteed to have the cutest and most original gift at any party. I did not allow myself enough time to rummage through the whole store... for the sake of my wallet. I also do not have enough words do give this little shop justice in my review, but if I can offer one bit of advise it would be to COME HERE! For anything you need. Just come here. read more
