I didn't end up buying anything on this trip but I was in a (pleasant) visual overload here. They have very cute curated sections with themes - not all of them appealed (no thanks on sports, Taylor Swift, or mah jongg) but still a super cute layout with lots of interesting, small, different items. This store is great for gifts especially if you know someone who is really into a current 'thing' (like mah jongg, or they had a rack of diet coke merch which isn't for me, but super cute). We even went into the kids' section and were admiring the onesies and squishy toys. I'd say we spent over 30 minutes wandering here even though the store isn't huge. There are just so many different interesting items - like a condensed and specific part of Home Goods? I'm now curious if the Wish in Happy Canyon is exactly the same or has a slightly different assortment.

I want to start with the fact that this is my first "bad" review ever. I never leave reviews…read morebecause I don't think putting negative reviews out there is benefiting anyone. However, I thought I should say this. To start, this gift shop is absolutely adorable and has so many options. However, both times I have gone, the older woman that works there stands right behind me and watches me shop. The first time, I let it go because I understand I have tattoos up my arm and in this neighborhood that might not be common. But this time, I came with my husband who has gauges, and she stood right behind us and stared at us as we shopped again and it really made me uncomfortable. There were multiple people in the store and it felt as if she assumed we were stealing. Did not feel like she tried to hide it at all. The first time I was there I spent like 120 dollars and this time about 90. It really sucks because I like this shop but I don't appreciate being followed around.

They have all sorts of toys from stuffed animals to stickers to kites. They even had some Halloween costumes for children and toddlers. The arcade area was a lot of fun. I really miss the arcades of my childhood and this really brought back some feely good memories. The prices were reasonable for a speciality type toy store. I enjoyed the twenty minutes I spent in this store/arcade and I suspect you will as well.

I really can't say enough good things about this store and I only wish I had access to something like this where I live in California. Definitely a great place to find cute gifts especially if you are thinking of females in mind…read more It's so nice to have this location in my own DTC/Hampden South neighborhood. I had always seen the one on University which recently moved to Gaylord (if I'm not mistaken); this Hampden location appears to be the newest addition. Selection was great and wide range. Each section/table has a theme behind it (like wine and cheese for instance; there was even a section for Taylor Swift!!) I have to admit; some items are a bit pricey (I saw a cheese knife that was so good-looking but it was almost $40!! Ouch ) I took the time to look around though because I wanted to find something nice to buy. What I ended up buying was a book about cheese. I spotted a few books about wine but since I already know so much about wine I just opted for the cheese book only. And it was only $9! Service was good and friendly. I remember being greeted by a lady named Hannah (I believe. She welcomed me.) I'll definitely go back and shop here especially when or if I'm looking for a nice gift for one of my female friends. Thanks, Wish Gifts for opening this new location; welcome to the neighborhood!

It's a little easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of goods, but the store is arranged by occasion and color which makes for a bright and cheery way to explore the store - which literally holds anything you could want. Stafff is so friendly, welcoming and complimentary in conversation and the day I ventured in, they were offering free mimosas and girl talk! so fun! Pricing totally depends on the goods selected but quality is outstanding and totally worth it :) I ended up with some great cards and will easily be back for more items!
