Overall, not the vibe and not as cute as it appears from the outside.

Such a disappointment. If all you want is a rustic brown look. Then this may be your spot. No nightstands to found. Maybe 4 dressers but rustic looking like it belongs in a cabin. Nothing with a polished look or nothing with too much color. I was into this look when I was younger and wanted chic furniture but now as I am older I am seeking a more mature polished look. I understand Denver / Colorado is really lacking in unique or independently owned lil furniture shops and I really wanted this to work for me. It did not. So what I mean by alot of the same ..... I went to all 3 locations. I found the same livingroom console table in a few diff colors stacked wayyy high at their warehouse. Just diff colors. The only highlight was the clean bathroom.

Turns out the "clearance" cabinet was actually backordered on a container ship overseas. Their own invoice showed the items as B/O at time of sale. When I asked for a fair resolution, the owner: * Repeatedly ignored my requests to communicate via email * Hid behind Terms and Conditions, then contradicted them by threatening to cancel my order * Gave me four different delivery timelines, none of which held * Blamed BDI, the shipping company, and the weather * Offered me a net $50 discount and called it "reasonable and fair" * Gave me 33 minutes via email to accept an offer or he'd cancel The moment I asked him to commit to an actual delivery date with accountability, he cancelled the order and refunded my deposit. Robert held $2,000 hostage for seven weeks for a cabinet that was never coming. Save yourself the headache.

Each nook and cranny seems carefully cultivated to remind you why your backyard space should be a sanctuary, a place for relaxing, away from a busy world and glowing screens. I like to go there just for the inspiration. The selection is colorful, with each authentic piece having its own character. I've gotten a bird bath from here, numerous pots and other cute tchotchkes that have made my backyard an extended room in my home. Some of my pieces have been a little more expensive but the quality is what I've paid for, knowing they aren't cheaply made. The staff is friendly and genuinely is invested in the place. The experience overall is worth taking a trip, if only to window shop and get ideas... bet ya won't go home empty-handed!

The new owners are not the same, and noticed bugs, bugs and more bugs on almost every plant I picked up. I asked where they get their plants and they wouldn't answer me. I couldn't find one plant that didn't have bugs when checking the stems. Lots of stressed out plants too. Will never come back. Sorry. Once upon a time Denver was the world's Carnation Capital and City Floral a major producer of…read moreminiature carnations (and other cut flowers) for the wholesale market. An employee in the mid-1950s had the idea of selling the lower grade flowers to the public. Cheap carnations ($1 a dozen) soon led to lots of foot traffic to the greenhouses which motivated adding additional plants and other retail items. South American competition led to the decline of U.S. cut flower production and City Floral sold the last carnation in 1985, adapting to become a full retail garden center with a landscaping design/build operation. The greenhouses date back to the original cut flower facility built in 1911. This was expanded for retail sales in 1976. The office and warehouse facilities on the west side were added in 1990. This is the oldest remaining greenhouse in Denver. The current facility is packed with every possible goodie for the gardener/landscaper including flowers, fruits, vegetables, plants, trees, shrubs, a huge variety of containers, statuary, tools, and supplies. There's a large succulent section and a good collection of bonsai. Services include tips and education on plant care, pest and disease diagnosis, plant identification, custom container potting, delivery, in-store repotting, plant rentals, an interior design partnership program, and comprehensive landscaping design and construction. I've had the past notion that City Floral was a bit pricy, but I found them very competitive on price in 2026.
