I go to Sam's Club often because I like to buy things in bulk. I also like the tire service here because they have good deals and tire rotation is free for the life of the tires. You also can't beat the price of gas, and this is where I always fill up. The gas prices alone are worth the price of membership. I also really love the pizza and frozen yogurt- $2 for a slice or 2.50 for a slice and a drink. Or 1.50 for a hot dog and a drink. Ordered new all season tires from the Sam's at the 92nd and Grant St. No issue with the tires purchased, mounting, or labeling the tire for the position it was removed from (these are winter tires and will be used next season.) They didn't have bags to put the tires in for storage. They need bags just for this purpose. What I didn't appreciate was they did a battery test on my car without any notice. Not that this is bad, but it should be explained to customers that they do this. I went to grab some food. After eating I noticed the hood up. I was told they tested the battery and it failed in the cold cranking. Funny, as I had the battery tested a few weeks ago because in a few months I'll be taking a road trip through Yellowstone. There were no issues then. I declined the purchase of their battery @$200. I found this odd. So I went to Advance Auto and had them test the battery, starter and alternator. No issues! NONE!!! Is their testing equipment defective? Does management know this? Is this a scam for sales? Is management pushing for more sales?! Are there SPIFFS for the salespeople for extra sales or selling add-ons or selling certain products? Not a good look!!! read more

It's as if they don't know if gamers actually buy anything outside the console amd a few accessories for it, just like breing trendy by owning some random, high-end brand. They simply place a console display up, you buy just the console, and everything else just... Materializes, I guess. Beyond that, the only real accessories theu offered were carrying cases, and they were outdated Fortnite brands. How embarassed does Sam's want your kids to rock a banana-faced Fortnite case for your Rog Ally X or even a Nintendo Switch? Never come to Sam's for video game stuff. This is purely for curbside pickup. We came to our allotted time and were there for longer than an hour. And when we finally did get our order the apples were all smashed up and we didn't even have our full order. I sent my husband inside to get a replacement and he saw some of the curbside people just standing and talking in the corner doing absolutely nothing. I saw a previous message fron another Sams Club member, and I wanted to just say that I too switched to AT&T thru SamsClub. The AT&T Sales person said we were going to get like a $200 refund thru a sams club gift card or something like that. I switched over from Verizon to AT&T but never received anything. And, the phone service was very bad. I had to stay with them to finish paying off the 3 iphone 11's that I bought at the time, and they didnt give me the trade-in discount they were promting becuase I didnt return my old phones within the 30 day window (which they didnt explain).. Well. Let's start off with the staff. They're wearing masks and they're wearing gloves - great. But I'm not sure if they're limiting the amount of employees that are allowed to work, or what. We waited at least 15 minutes for one of the two cashiers, lines stretched all the way into the center of the store. Beyond that half of what was on our list was out of stock. We went there to grab a few items. Normally I would have a card in me but i have it the app. After the disappointment of not getting ice cream for the girls (at this point, it's getting as bad as McDs with their ice cream machine). They were able to help 2 customers before us and all the sudden it just stops working. Funny timing. When I was doing the self check out I couldn't figure if this was like "Walmart pay" or. Not. And this larger employee seemed j was intruding on her time while she was gossiping with her associates. After I ask her (and apologize for interrupting her gossip time if there was a way to do a "Walmart " pay. She remark was no, you can't use Apple Pay. But would have to use the scan and go and use my phone that was. She wasn't the most customer friendly person in general. This club has been through a few managers since I've been going there. The present manager appears to care more than the previous. The employees are always kind and helpful! Pharmacy: Wade and his staff are amazing! Always going above and beyond for their customers. The person you want to steer clear from is Sarah, the other pharmacist. She has no respect or regard for HIPAA regulations as she doesn't use the consultation window. She will freely bark out your personal and confidential information from behind her computer and anybody within 15 feet of earshot can hear what she's saying. HIPAA would be floored. We'll find out what the other regulatory bodies think of her behavior. This is just a small portion of her unprofessionalism. In my case, she has fraudulently and maliciously slandered me with untruths to my providers. My hope is that she will be able to prove on paper or in court the things she has said. Want to jump on here and give a huge thank you to Amaya Smith! She's a front line associate that not only helped me with my new membership but later after shopping helped with me with all my offers received with my new membership. Stood in line a good while to self check out and that associate, although friendly, not completely knowledgeable or helpful with the free offers when I got to the register. I was basically just redirected to yet another line to wait in with a live person. I alway mixed feelings about service at this Sam's Club. Today I'm going to take about their sushi department. Every time I gone it is so fresh and tasteful. The last few weekend I have gone to get some and there is time I like to get a party tray for the family. I have never had any push back. They are so polite and helpful. Went to this Sam's Club in February and was approached by a guy selling cell phone service from AT& T, we were told how great their service is and made us a great over on 2 phones so we signed up but we had to send our old phones in to get credit so we get our new phones for free. We sent them in and I received an email stating my phone was crushed on one corner, well I know that wasn't true and wished I would've taken pictures before I packed them individually in a heavy duty box with bubble wrap. I guessing when the received it and opened the box they dropped it and was trying to put the blame on me. We are still having issues with AT&T and we will let Sam's Club know we are not happy with the way we were lied to and scammed. Decided i would try the pick up option...big mistake. My pick up time was scheduled between 5-6pm so I decided to arrive about 5:30 even though no confirmation was sent saying my order was ready - thought I'd be ahead of the game. NEVER got a confirmation if my order was ready. I'd see cars pull up, someone's would load their car and they'd leave. Do you think one of those associate would have come over to my vehicle and ask me if I was waiting for a pick up? NO why would they? Tried to call, the phone just kept ringing and ringing. Went inside a bit after 6 to let them know that I've been waiting with no confirmation. I was told they were behind even though there were 3 associates at customer service and one couple in front of me. The CS rep told me they'll get someone to help me and to go back and park in one of the spaces. I sat there for another 15min or so before I get the notification saying my order was ready and one of the CS associates who was at the customer service booth was the person who loaded my car. I could understand a little bit if I had perishables why there was a delay in gathering my order, but I didn't. read more

Many things make a business thrive, a very important factor is customer service. Which makes me wonder how this Sam's Club is still standing. They have terrible customer service here, it is just appalling how they treat their customers. You might be okay if you are just buying groceries, but should you ever make a mistake and buy the wrong item, then be warned that you may be in for a roller coaster of disappointment. I even called beforehand asking if they can exchange what I bought for the correct item, and they said yes they can exchange it. Once I was there, their terrible manager start making excuses saying it is out of their hands. I can't even begin to explain how ridiculous and disappointing the whole situation was. In the end, no returns or exchanges were made, even tho they said they would. Aside from their incompetent manager and returns department, the employees that work there do not know where anything is. Why bother asking them for help if they will just make you go around in circles. The cashiers are generally miserable and it shows. It shows too much that it makes shopping there unpleasant. Avoid this Sam's Club. If you must, you should reconsider this location until it is under new management. They need someone that understands the meaning of customer service. read more

Terrible customer service. I'm not sure if the employees are treated bad and that's why their service is so terrible or they simply have the worst staff. Had to wait over 45min to pick up an order with a newborn and toddler. While other cars arrived after me and got their orders before me. Had to call a few times before anyone answered, then they had the audacity to tell me they were outside and couldn't see me... I drive a bright blue truck not sure if they're also blind. Wish I could leave two reviews because the last time I was there the people who replaced one of my car batteries was amazing and efficient. This time it was absolutely horrible. Aron tried to tell me that he didn't know how to do car batteries and told me to leave and come back some other time. He had the most laxidasical and lazy attitude I have ever seen. Fortunately I said no, you're open during business hours and this needs to be done, not to mention that there was no other customers there. That should have been a warning to not have anything done because they spray-painted the terminals the wrong color as noted in the pictures and installed the battery wrong and I had to fix it. read more

I've been a business card holder for many years. I primarily shop at the Sam Club and Costco in Arvada off Wadsworth. They both sell items that are vital to the running of my business. I've recently moved and Thornton Sams Club is closer to me. Kill me now!! This is the most dumbest set up where things are located. Between bouncing back and forth like a ping pong ball to each side of the store for resturant supplies then the other side for food trays etc. Who ever is in charge needs to take a tour of the Arvada location because it just makes sense where everything is located for quick shopping. As far as customer service these people suck. I went around the "milk and cheese" mega fridge to find cottage cheese. Probably looped around the thing 3 times and could not find it. So I ask a SAMs employee who then turns to two other SAMs employees in the next aisle where it would be located. They look at him and point "it's over there." He then looks at me and does the same, points in the direction and says it's over there. Well, no shit Sherlock. I've shopped long enough to know the general area of where it would be. I would like you to help me and find it. I guess walking 20 steps to help a customer was just to much for his day. So I put 4 products back that would have completed my recipe minus the cottage cheese. I bought all 5 products at Costco...thank you for your kind customer service! Check out is a joke. I'm in line and put everything on the belt which is the full length of the belt. The women checks out in front of me and then the check out girl pushes the open sign to closed. Looks at me then says oh sorry I'm going on break. WTF?! Girl that would have been fine only if you had told me this before I put all my shit on the conveyer belt. These are most inconsiderate rude people to deal with. I wish I wrote all their names down so they could at least be retrained in the art of customer service. I've worked the lowliest of jobs too and if this it for you and you can't do it with a smile. Quit! That way someone who really needs a job that actually helps customers would be refreshing. I love how much more convenient and peaceful it is to shop here than Costco. Sam's has items that Costco doesn't carry and vice versa. I do like having the option of self checkout especially when lines get long (well not like Costco). This store is ridiculous. The staff are un friendly and when I came in wearing my respirator mask 2 employees started laughing. The employees don't even bother wearing masks correctly or even at all. Can't even place a pick up order and expect my items to all be there.Most of them get canceled I understand shortages for items during this time but some of it comes down to pure laziness on the employees part. I will come and pick up my order and while I'm there take a look through to see if maybe by chance some of my un available items might be on the shelf. And low and behold they are. Decent prices. Parking is usually good. Food counter ladies have been rude and culturally selective to how much they want to help you which should be addressed. Lines are always long at check out with few open. If your in a rush this is not a store for you. No, it's definitely not as nice as Costco, but living in Thornton, it's much more convenient. I like their gas prices, but I don't like (1) the skeevy fella washing windshields and pimping his crack repair business in the parking lot and (2) the fact that you can't purchase gas here before 9am on Sunday. At a self service gas station! What I do like, though, are their prices on car batteries and tires. I replaced the battery in my 2000 Jeep Cherokee for less than $100 including installation here. And, it was ready in less than 20 minutes without an appointment. Milk prices, produce prices both are better than Soopers. We eat a *lot* of produce, so it makes sense to shop here. However, we don't eat a lot of junk food/processed food, so the king size boxes of instant mashed potatoes don't do us a lot of good. I'd rather shop at Costco, but until they build one closer to us, this is where I'll go. :/ read more
