I have been here a few times now. Easy to call and make a reservation for an overall servicing. Being a woman, anything I have to handle with cars is always an eye roll because its intimidating, I'm never taken seriously, or I'm taken advantage of. That never happens here. They are always busy but gives everyone respect and personal attention. I even came in on a super busy day because my tires were low and they were able to take me free of cost to fill up my tires. Amazing service from the gentle man who was filling my car. He was great! I can't remember his name, but he is Mexican and we were bonding over Filipino experiences. Then when I was leaving another worker opened my door for me. Stand up place! The servicing was just over $100 and that felt very fair. I will continue to take my car here and highly recommend then. Honestly my experience was very middle-of-the-road here. I needed new brake pads and I did the $49.95 winter car care special, which gets you a lot for the money. However, I just moved here and my previous mechanic for the last five years would never do work on my car without running everything by me and telling me the price of each option beforehand. Here, nobody told me which brakes actually needed to be replaced, I wasn't given an estimate for the work, and they went ahead and replaced the brake rotors when I only intended to get new pads, driving up a $600 bill (for just the rear brakes) that I saw for the first time when it was time to put my card in the machine. The employees here are salesmen, and not quite as upfront as I'd like them to be. Good mechanic for small things, I wouldn't go to them with larger issues. read more

Be prepared to be upsold on everything including plenty of things you don't need. They upsell you on "lifetime warranty" on brake pads, but when you return a few years later for new pads you are told "that doesn't apply to your pads as they were special order. That sure wasn't said when you upsold me on the premium brake package. Despite rotors lasting 80,000 miles, they strongly suggest replacing them when you get new pads that last 30,000-35,000 miles. Drove in with a noise complaint and mentioned it might be my right front axel. Received a call confirming it and replacement would be $370. When picking up the vehicle after repair I could not make it out of the parking lot without hearing the noise still there and feeling that something else was going on with my car. I was assured that Jon Ornelas (must be the janitor) that worked on my car must have test drove it after the repair. "Driveshaft needs to be replaced" is the next diagnosis $1,200.00 repair. When I go in to authorize the repair I ask again about test driving the vehicle and one person tells me the only test drive in the parking lot and never take it out on the street....... Seriously this is what he said. but, he doesn't realize that I know this is a tire (its in the name) place and if you are doing car tires, suspension and brakes you must test drive the vehicle to make sure everything is good and a parking lot test drive is not going to work. Although I had authorized the work to be performed so I can have my car back on the road I have since phoned back and told them I will have it towed somewhere else as I do not like being lied to. read more

I have been going to this Big O's for 12 years and have promoted them every chance I have gotten. Their customer service has always been the best I've found in my lifetime of owning a car, but now that their manager has moved states, it appears to have gone down hill drastically. I had a 10:00 appointment for an oil change and after an hour and a half I noticed they took a car back that had gotten there for an 11:00 oil change. Mine was still in the parking lot. Only after saying something did they take my car in. I didn't receive any apology or explanation. My car was finally ready after 2.5 hours (for an oil change with an appointment). For the first time in 12 years, I'm looking for a new vehicle shop. :( read more

Came here after having a flat tire. It wasn't repairable, unfortunately so we purchased new tires and the overall experience of this place was awesome. They got us fixed up and back on the road within a quickness. I stopped by 2 days ago and set up for an oil change with an appointment time of 7:30 am Thursday, 7/2/20. I got to the store at 7:30 and handed them my keys and asked how long. They said an hour and a half. When I questioned that they said in case sometimes up. I went and sat outside and my car didn't move for 30 minutes! I went back inside and said I wanted my keys back and asked why they set appointments. John, manager, smirked at me and said "we need a window for work time" I said I do too. The guy who gave me my keys said "they're just getting ready to pull this one (car that was somehow a head of me) out and you're next". He said 20-30 minutes so I handed him the keys back and said "ok I need it done by 8:30" and walked back outside. I had just about set down and John walks out, hands me my keys, smirks again and says "have a nice day". That was pretty rude to just say that! I've been a customer of this store for years but to be treated like that I will never do business with them again! Had my rear break pads and rotors replaced for $465. I had left a $30 coupon on the seat of the car getting the break job. Later when I came to pick up the car, I forgot about the coupon until after I paid and got in the car and saw the coupon still sitting there. I immediately went back in and Alaina refused to honor the coupon. She said since I already paid, only her manager could make the adjustment and her manager was taking the day off (Wednesday afternoon.) How does this business function all day without a manager if a manager is needed to do the simplest possible adjustment? They seem a little rude at this Big-O. I go here because we moved and this is the closest one. The people at the Big-O near my old house seemed nicer and more helpful. read more

I will 100% return to this location for needs I might have in the future! Sent them an email later at night on a Sunday, requesting an appointment on Tuesday for a tire replacement before the snowstorm that evening. My tires were deemed legally unsafe on Sunday, so I was rushing to get new tires last minute. They replied at 5:30am the next morning! They were out of stock of my tires, but ordered a set just for my car to be there Tuesday morning. Stellar service! I got there at 8, and left by 9:30, which I expect a bit of a wait at any car related business. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. They physically showed me and pointed out potential repairs for my car, instead of just telling me what was wrong and giving me a quote. Thank you, Big O! Recently had my Toyota in for service - which included a front end alignment. The Big-O representative who assisted me was reluctant to assist me after I brought my truck back to have the front end alignment rechecked / redone because it was apparently not done correctly the first time. After discussing with him the issue I was having with the quality of the alignment, he reluctantly rescheduled the redo, which required for me to once again leave the truck for an entire day - for the second time. That's a total of 16 hours at that point without my daily driver. After picking up the truck a second time and taking it for a test drive, the alignment was once again not done correctly. I had to come in a third time, and this time, the Big-O rep was visibly annoyed and blamed the alignment issue on other things, tire wear, bearings, the age of the truck, etc.. I held my ground on the matter and after multiple discussions with him, and a trip down the street to Discount Tire to have the tires evaluated and disprove his theory, I returned for the fourth time and had them recheck and redo the alignment, the alignment tech that performed the third alignment got it right on his first attempt, and the truck has driven correctly ever since. All in all, I figure I spent about 30 hours total from initial drop-off to final pickup of my vehicle. upon picking up my truck the final time, I discovered that the tech that they had used to perform the first 2 alignments on my truck was a novice and was still learning how to perform proper alignments. So I got the run-around from a reluctant Big-O rep for seemingly no reason. I have had better service at this location in the past, and as a loyal and returning customer, I feel that I deserved better treatment from them, than what I received through this incident. read more

They were offering services for a car care clinic through a local church. Immediately I was drawn to their shop because of their philanthropic nature. They are dishonest and i will never take my car here for anything. They lied to me stating my rotors are bad and all brake pads needed to be replaced...turns out the rotors were not actually bad at all. This was a flat out lie.. when the rotors are bad you will know as the car will vibrate and shake due to uneven rotors when you hit the brakes. Took my car to my good friend who is also a mechanic.. rotors are perfectly fine and only the front brake pads needed to be replaced, not all 4 brake pads. Stay away they are scumbags.... no idea how they have good reviews when they are clearly ripping people off. read more

I'd like to say first, I have gone to this Big O location for years and this is the only time I've had an issue. I once heard a business will be judged more on how they handle issues/complaints that come up than the hundreds and thousands of satisfied interactions that take place. I recently took my vehicle in for an oil change service. With that service they will rotate your tires. I told the service writer to have them rotated. Upon picking up my vehicle, I noticed that my tires had not been rotated. The reason I know this is because in the past, I have requested my tires not be rotated. So that day, I marked my front tires before dropping off my vehicle for service. Because, like I said, sometimes I have my tires rotated and sometimes I don't. And I wanted to make sure they did get rotated. I walk back in and tell the person who wrote up my service ticket about the issue, telling her that I know this because I marked the tires. She goes into the service bay and walks back in with the gentleman that took over for Jon who recently left Big O tires this year. He proceeds to tell me that he did rotate the tires. I tell him that they were not rotated because the tires were marked. He reiterates that he did rotate them. I asked how that could be if I had them marked and those same tires are still in the same spot. He again reiterates that he rotated them. I left the store shaking my head. This was my day off and I explicitly remember marking the tires right before this visit. Everything being equal, who would have more of a probability of making a mental error with rotating tires? A customer who had the day off just relaxing getting an oil change marking his front tires vs. a busy guy working at Big O tires managing the service bay with many vehicles at a busy Big O location. And furthermore, from a customer service standpoint you would think this gentleman would look at the situation, even if he felt he was not in error; make this right from the customers point of view. During a routine oil change and tire rotation I was told that my shocks were blown. However I had them replaced 8 months ago at a different BiG O where we used to live. So this store scheduled me to come back to replace the shocks under warranty. I get there at 8 as requested and they didn't have the shocks. I planned to wait. at 9 they tell me that they hope the shocks are there by 10:30. At 10:30 they tell me the driver is on his way. At 11:30 they show up. I walk down the street to get lunch and come back and sit in the waiting area for another half hour. I get up and ask where my truck is and am told, "oh, it's been finished." No notification, call, look to see that I'm sitting right there. So 6 hours later they finished the 1 hour job that I was told I could wait for. read more

There are shops nearby or you can stay in their waiting area which unfortunately doesn't have the best entertainment but they've got an adorable little black dog to pass the time w/. Called around to get a water pump replaced on my car. Of course we were going out of town the next day so time was an issue. Called and Big O was right in line with everyone else's but also talked about the possible other items that might need replaced while the other shops never brought anything up. My wife brought it in and they said none of it needed done and that it would be a waste of money to do anything other than the pump. They worked to get her out in time to pick the kids up from school even. Will definitely be back. read more
