I should've driven the extra 15 minutes and went to the Discount on 120th and Washington. This Discount Tire apparently has sub par management judging from the employees. I came in with a simple flat repair and of course they tell me my tires are worn and try to sell me new tires. After doing research, I find that my tires are still acceptable to be driven for a few more thousand miles. They were also not even close to being within the treadwear warranty limit. I refused the new tires after doing the research and agreed to come back later to pick up my car after the flat repair was done. Two hours later I called the store and they say oh yeah your car is done, so I drive back down to the store to pick up my car. No communication from the store whatsoever and when I get back, nothing was done to my car, no flat repair, no rotation as agreed upon, no nothing. They failed to communicate with me, failed to call me when the car was done, and failed to call me and tell me they couldn't do the work. They simply pulled the car out of the bay and that was all they did. Their excuse was that they could fix the tire because it had three holes in it. I'm so confused. Not sure why you can't fix a tire with three holes if you can fix a tire with one??? Is it laziness or was it me being slighted for not wanting to give them $1000 to buy unnecessary new tires? I think the latter is more likely. Bad customer service and a bad experience overall. I would avoid this Discount at all costs. read more

I already check 18 tires per day on my semi! By habit i was walking by my car and glanced at the tire and seen a nail in the tire but it wasn't flat nor did it trigger the tire sensor yesterday. So I started it up and sure enough the sensor came on and drive it up here to get it fixed. I walked in on and empty store, literally no one before me and the nice rep told me it would be next and right in. I hate waiting so I was wondering how long that would take. The customers were starting to come in and the phones were constantly ringing. They were really and they still finished my car in just under 30 minutes! Everyone was SO polite and professional also. I popped my tire hitting a pot hole while I was on the freeway in my rental car. After calling the rental car company and getting no response. I ended up changing the tire out with the spare. Called Discount Tires and told them of my dilemma. They told me they had a tire available for the vehicle and to come in. When I arrived they took care of me right away. Showed up for my 12:30 appointment at 12:20. Stood in line 19 minutes before eye contact was made by any employee. Now sitting at over an hour wait here and I still haven't even been able to pull the car in. A 5 min tire swap shouldn't take 2 hours. 2hr14 minutes to swap 4 wheels and tires. No tire swap even. To make things worse they told me two separate times my vehicle was next and then pulled in a different vehicle into the flat bay my car requires. Then to compound upon that the red Tesla model 3 they did in front of mine the owner wasn't even present so they had me waiting extra time knowing I was actually in the store. read more

Went to get tires for my Tesla. This is at the discount tire at 104th ave and Colorado Blvd in Thornton, Colorado. MNot really looking forward to it because of cost. WAs acknowledged as soon as I entered the store. The employee asked how my day was going and how could he help me. Advised I was anted to look at balancing my tires. We went out and looked at my car and he took measurements of the tread. Shame on me for not paying better attention. The tires were into the lowest section. Back inside and looked at replacement tires. Determined which was going to be best for the Tesla due to the weight of the car. I was impressed by the employee to know about different tires for teslas. Owning a Tesla, I knew this was important because regular tires wear extremely fast. Once I paid for the tires, he told me it would be about an hour and gave me an exact time. My car was done 15 minutes early. I love when a company under promises and over delivers Value was comparable or some lower than other places I had looked at. Store is clean. My husband and I have been taking our vehicles here for about 7 years, and we recently went to get my summer tires switched out to my blizzaks. When we came in the blizzaks were scanned and approved. About an hour later we get a call from a manager, Darien I believe was his name? Saying the tires are not safe and they can't put them on. These blizzaks have 1 season in them, about 4 months of use, we have never had blizzaks wear out that quickly plus they were scanned and approved when we dropped them off. We go in to grab the vehicle and take it elsewhere and he shows where the tread is worn and points to 3 shoulder sipes where the tread is a little worn on 1 tire. Not all 4 tires, not even the whole tire itself, just 3 small areas. We were upset because we've been doing the same song and dance for years and have never been told they won't put our tires on especially when they are in good condition. After letting him know we were just going to take our business elsewhere, he flips and says he'll put them on... this is why car places live at about zero on the public's trust scale. They do this to upsell you on getting new tires when you don't even need them, and then CLEARLY was lying about them not being safe if he ultimately decided to just put them on in the end. I'm glad they didn't waste any more of our time and make us go somewhere else, but they have officially lost our business. read more

Three issues over the last couple months. Went into get tires on our 150. Price was good thought everything was going to be OK. At checkout was handed the lock mechanism for the spare tire. Was told with the smile you'll need to get this fixed. Why I told you there was no spare tire cable and put the spare in the bed of the truck. Made online appointment for four new tires on our jeep. My wife calls me to say the cost is increasing by $120. I call the same store in and get the price of $120 less from the store manager who also gave My wife the $120 more price for the exact same tires. I go down needless to say he is not available but I do give credit to the young kid who had to straighten that mess out. Turns out they did not have the tires in stock that we had an appointment for and they were given different tires for eight dollars each more. Umm 8×4 is 32 not 120. I asked if it's because she was a woman that this happened,,, a lot of tap dancing with no answer. They did correct the price which is why we get one star Same day same visit there is a spare tire in the back of the jeep please fix the wire in it. At check out the tire is fixed. I worked with Discount Tire and their claims department on the damage done to my wheels and trunk. They have approved and fixed the wheels. Getting the trunk repaired has just been approved and the car is being dropped off at the body shop to get fixed. Even though it is frustrating that my car sustained damaged while in their care I appreciate that they took responsibility for the damage and are getting it all fixed. Used to love Discount Tire but these guys have gone way downhill. I no longer shop for tires here but still have a fleet of vehicles that have tires from here. When I brought in some loose wheels to replace the wrong valve stems (that they put on) their employee, Mario, insisted that I come into the store. Now since coronavirus hit, I've made several visits to Discount and every time they've been accommodating and come out to my vehicle upon request. A little background on the truck and tires .. this 05 GMC has had the same tire brand and custom rims since birth. Truck only has 30k miles, second set of tires and have been rotated in the states of Washington, Arizona, Indiana, and Colorado. Don't trust this location as they will tell you lies and up sale you. They took care of it for me and replaced the sensor along with rotating my tires. Did this all in a timely manner. Great company.
