Because of the pandemic, a major need for face masks surfaced. There haven't been enough of the n-95 masks for everyone, not even enough for the medical professionals and other front-line workers. Then people started sewing the cloth masks. I still personally couldn't find any available, but had a small supply of disposable masks my Doctor's office had given me in late February. But those are one-use masks and although I was only emerging from my home when absolutely necessary, they were running out. i heard about this store via a Louisville-oriented Facebook group I'm in. Someone was saying they had some cloth masks. So I went to that corner and drove among the businesses in the shopping area until i found this place. It's 2 doors to the left of the Nature Lab. indeed they have medical supplies of all varieties, and had a good selection of cloth masks in several sizes and colors. The white ones are $8 and the colored ones are $10. The people who work at the store and very knowledgable and helpful. They're out of hand sanitizer like everyone else but they are trying to get a shipment, by the way. I am happy to have one cloth face mask to wear and another to wear while washing it. I got a few for my daughter as well. As an older person, I was happy to see various items for people dealing with limited mobility and pain. The store is full of those types of items. They also have a large supply of compression socks.

This place needs a lot of improvement. First off, it is in no way ADA compliant which is a big…read moreissue for a medical supply store. There are no handicap spots to park in and the door is not automatic. They really need to hire more employees because both times I went in, I waited around for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me. One employee was more concerned about helping the people calling on the phone than actually helping the customers standing in the store. When I picked up the equipment that I rented, the gentleman who helped me was very kind and made sure it was adjusted to my height. He even loaded it into my car for me. When I dropped it back off however, the woman who helped me took the equipment out of my trunk without even closing my trunk and left me standing outside on my crutches informing me I had to go back inside to sign off on the return. Again, an issue considering I was on crutches and they do not have automatic doors. The only reason I returned the equipment early is because I found a better scooter for free to complete my two months of non weight bearing. The equipment they provided was heavy and the breaks didn't work. It was a struggle to fold up and load into the car whenever I took it anywhere. The seat was stained and cracked. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be a repeat customer. The only positive I can say is that the store is clean and the staff is friendly once they decide to actually help you.

I read the reviews, after a phone call to arrange our appts., was feeling very confident that this was going to be a good fit (and they are so close to where we live!). I came away, feeling even more so. We were both seen in 1.5 hours, much less time than I had expected, and that was with a LOT of explaining happening in the exam room. Dr. Koditek took great care and time to explain anything we needed to know, and listen to us. I have never enjoyed getting my eyes examined, as every device, esp. lights cause my eyes to water, and I barely can keep my eyes open. The pre exam, was so easy, no puffs of air! The exam itself easy, yet thorough, and I was able to keep my eyes open, even with the light, something I have NEVER been able to do. And he explained why my eyes are now dry, why I need to change due to a more mid distance than I had before. Never once feeling like I was being talked down too. Great experience, and compared to the other vision center we came from in CA, easier exams, less time, much less price wise with our insurance

At first, she comes off helpful, then she starts judging you and your choice of frames. To say the least, I felt belittled and not treated with respect. I normally don't go out of my way to submit bad reviews, but I wanted to share my experience to hopefully brace any future or existence customers that go to Carbon Valley Eye Care. It's unfortunate that that one experience is making me contemplate taking my business elsewhere. My suggestion as someone who has worked in customer service for 12 years, it might be a good idea to have some sort of frequent customer service training (there are plenty of online trainings that don't cost much and would really help staff make customers feel respected and welcomed) it's such a simple skill that unfortunately for some has to be learned.

Couldn't find any reviews for these guys so I was little worried when I purchased but figured I could always find spare parts if things didn't pan out. Everything panned out. I knew what I wanted when I called so I didn't need to visit a storefront, just called and scheduled a delivery appointment. The elliptical arrived in great condition and they had no problem (or complaint) taking the monstrosity inside and down to the basement. They didn't leave immediately either, they made sure it was good to go before leaving. They also called about 2-3 weeks after delivery to make sure all was still good. I've had it for over 6 months now and it still works great. If I decided I needed to further populate my gym, I'd check their website before checking Craigslist or the unreliable big names I've had bad luck with in the Denver area.

Turns out that our insurance was "out of network" and did not cover the exam or eyewear. We were billed $403 for the exam. Not a very ethical business in my opinion.
