I like this pharmacy and rarely have issues. On more than 1 occasion they don't have enough of your prescription but at least they have some. Everyone is nice, however, I need to know... is the pharmacist at the drive through window a robot?!? I'm being serious, I can't tell if it's a human or robot. If you go through the drive thru and get what seems to be a female human named Gale, she talks and acts like a robot. You know how you always say I'm never coming back to this place???? That's me and this Walgreens. That is until someone's sick and updating to a new pharmacy, especially one with a drive through, and all of a sudden you're thinking to yourself How bad could it really be? It's just a quick drive through script. It'll be fine.... Right. Nothing about this place is fine. Nothing about this place is ok. Nothing about this place is right. And it's twice as bad with a sick toddler screaming in the car. Today, 9.6.22 I had to grab a script for the sick kiddo. I show up at 2pm to be told his script must of come in before their lunch so it's not done and to give them 15 mins and asked me to let other by. Well after a quick drive around the building to get back in.... Here I sit an hour later. Still 3 of the 5 cars we started with in front of me. No end in sight. Except for the fact that apparently everyone's medication must have come in at the lunch hour and now we just wait. Seriously this is the last time. This is the well it's easier this way. As soon as I get home every doctor is being contacted and every pharmacy moved to an actual pharmacy that actually works!!!! Oh did I mention it's 98 degrees outside to add to the mess. read more

I must admit, my experiences have been quite different than the posts I'm seeing on this page. I went in Dec 8th at around 10 am. There was no one at the front counter (he was busy in photo and this establishment is always understaffed in the morning in the retail department. However, this review is about my own customer experience. With no one at the front counter, I walked back to the pharmacy. A technician named Maria gladly assisted me. She was prompt, courteous, professional and engaging. The pharmacy was spotless and well-maintained. Additionally, the pharmacy was well-staffed. In spite of the Company's staffing issues, I continue to frequent the Walgreens in Firestone (store no 9315) based on the great customer service I continue to receive. Indeed, it's not the employees' fault for Walgreen's Corporate mishandling of staffing. The "Employees" are (and have been) exemplary. read more

If you have the option to get your meds ANYWHERE else, I recommend going there. They have, on multiple occasions, stated they STARTED my son's prescription at the time I was supposed to pick it up. We have left and came back to receive our meds when returning 1 out of the 3 times. After this last time, we were told to return in 45 mins and it would be ready. After returning, the meds still had not been started and could not be picked up until the next day. This is a poor excuse for professionalism. read more

With all of the customer data tracking information in this world (think customer "club" cards) you'd think they'd be able to predict purchases, including medication (if the grocery store knows how often I need toilet paper you should know when I'll need medication). But no. I'll give you that I made a last minute order on Monday but two stops later a 90 day order has only provided 9 days worth of seizure medication. "But we promise to call other stores and get back to you." Not good enough. I'll be looking elsewhere after this. read more

I have so much gratitude and respect for the pharmacy staff here. Twice they have noticed and informed me that a prescription written for me has contraindications with anti-rejection medications I have to take due to an organ transplant. You'd think the prescribing doctors would have taken the time to look, but apparently not. Glad the pharmacy staff are looking out for me! read more

I just moved to Firestone from Westminster CO and found each employee helpful upon 2 visits recently!

WATCH CAREFULLY when you get your pharmaceuticals from this pharmacy. They tacked the right prescription onto a WRONG BOTTLE OF PILLS. Their mistake could have been fatal, as I nearly blacked out while in I-25 at 75 m.p.h. When I caught the mistake and took the wrong pills back to the pharmacy, they gave a refund and a quick "oops, sorry." Nice.... read more

They sent me an e-mail asking if I wanted them to refill my prescription and I replied yes. They sent me a thank you and a pick up date. When I went to pick it up, they told me that my prescription had no refills on it. This is a seizure control medication and they wouldn't even give me enough for a few days. This is the only time a pharmacy has refused in over 40 years. I will NEVER do business in a Walgreen's again. read more

Terrible customer service and especially from pharmacy department. I have repeatedly called ahead thru automated system and set a time and never receive it on time. What's the point of setting a time if when you show up the are just printing off the script? I guess they don't like my business and will go across the street to King Soopers from now on. Called management to file compliant and no apology or anything. I guess getting my mom with ALS her meds is not their priority. read more

The pharmacy is absolutely horrible. Used other Walgreens for years with no problems. However, the (most) employees are incompetent. [I don't say "all" employees because there's been a personable and efficient young lad working there] Appears they are hiring young and inexperienced high schoolers. New faces every month. The biggest problem is they screw up every other prescription by either filling with the wrong number of pills or filling off-cycle so that one has to go without pills until the new cycle kicks in. Not a great solution when one is on important medication. One youngling even asked me if the pill count was correct! Duh, can you read the doctor's script? It was printed from a computer. I recommend the Safeway down south a couple of miles or the King Soopers. Both are more personable and more efficient. read more
