Before my makeup (when I was getting my hair done for my pictures)

I needed my makeup done for my engagement photos at the last minute and Sephora was able to do my makeup so well! The day before I booked an appointment online- $60 for a full face of makeup (1 hour). I showed up with my hair done for my pictures and got seated fairly quickly. The person who did my makeup did a scan on my face to see what type and shade of skin I had and then got to work! She was very thoughtful and knew I was hiking to take pictures 3 hours later and that my makeup would need to last that long. She explained what she was doing and what products she was using. At the end I wanted to buy the lipstick she used On me so I could reapply during pictures- she did such a good job choosing a shade for me that it is now my scale it's lipstick! I felt beautiful and I am excited to see how the pictures turned out.

This location is starting to make me reconsider my love affair with Ulta, MAC or Planet Beauty. Amanda was incredibly sweet, she nodded her head when I picked up the Original Beauty Blenders, the knowledge of finding me a perfect, new foundation and concealer from Urban Decay or Too Faced. I ended up NOT purchasing them just because I want to finish the remaining of my sad cosmetics I desperately want to get rid of. The lighting, the music, the faces and everything was very much energetic and made me want to stay there 4ever. My cousin ended up purchasing a new foundation. Something customized for her skin. SOOO Amanda has been with us the whole time on this. We loved this location, and I could totally see why she's an addict. I know I am too.

I think Sephora is every straight man's hell... Imagine the scenario... Walking along the new 29th street mall... You just came out of the MAC store with your new black IPod, and then she says, "Oh great, just follow me real quick, I want to show you something." Before you know it you guys take a quick left into Sephora's and you are looking at blush brushes and blue eye-shadows...And your girlfriend is starting to get upset because she keeps asking you "what's wrong" and you keep saying, "nothing." She might drag you to the back to look at the men's shaving creams and fancy lotions. What do you do? Here is the strategy: If you want to stay on good terms (and you all know what I mean by "terms") then just follow her and pretend like you care... just let her pick something out for you, because the truth is she knows she is in the wrong and she is going to buy it for you anyway. When she starts examining your skin to figure out if you are dry, oily, or a combination skin, immediately tell her that you are combo.... (This will cause her to not look at your face long enough to start pointing out scars or pimples.) The next step is the hardest.... As you slowly proceed to the cashier, it is very possible that she will get distracted by some other beauty product and you will be stuck in the store up to 30 minutes more. Don't let this happen! Here is the trick... Say, "I can't wait to see you in that sexy blue eye-shadow... Let's get out of here so I can take you out tonight." (Hey, if you have to spend some money to save your sanity, than believe me, it is worth it.) * Star one is for Sephora's amazing selection of makeup goodies, lotions, potions, perfume and cologne galore ** Our lucky star number two is for Sephora's own line of makeup... Which has awesome eyeliners for cheap *** Star three is for the new Boulder location **** Star four is for patient boyfriends who never nag a happy girl out of a beauty store

I went in for estradiol pellets to help relieve a few menopause symptoms. At a later visit, while describing new symptoms, Dr. Rastegar discovered and acknowledged she had forgotten to prescribe progesterone, which is a necessary part of this procedure. She inserted another estrogen pellet before addressing the issue, and added a prescription for progesterone. Once I started taking the progesterone, for the next few months I experienced heavy bleeding and painful cramping, ultimately requiring an ultrasound at my own expense that showed a thickened uterine lining, which is a documented result of receiving estradiol without progesterone. When I raised concerns about the prolonged bleeding, discomfort, and the initial oversight, the response was dismissive and framed as "just a risk of HRT". Dr. Rastegar held no accountability of her oversight, nor did she offer meaningful support. Hormone therapy requires careful management and follow-up. That standard was not met in my case, and I want other women to be fully informed before seeking similar treatment here.

I have gone to Rinnova on several occasions for expensive treatments and have always had a nice…read moreexperience with the providers. However, this company has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I can't recommend them. A while back, I had tried to get appts for a treatment, but was forced to late cancel twice due to me contracting covid and then my elementary aged daughter contracting covid, once I had a cold sore and they asked me not to come in, and once because I am a displaced elementary teacher and was asked to teach last minute. As a displaced teacher, it is crucial to be available so they will call you again in the future. Rinnova charged me for these late cancellations, which was okay. I understood they were not able to fill that slot regardless of what had gone awry for me. It was a short string of bad luck when I've never had issues with coming to my appts there in the past. For my last appt, they told me it would be no problem to reschedule but that if I canceled one more time then they would not be able to book me in the future. I of course understood this to be the agreement and so I accepted the substitute teaching job for the day and rescheduled, and honored our agreement. Everything seemed fine. I just tried to schedule the same procedure a year later. I intentionally waited until summer so that any substitute teaching assignments would not conflict. After booking my appt, Rinnova called me to say I am not welcome at their business any longer, despite having come to the last appt. It is so disappointing to see a business not be understanding about two conflicts due to covid and the plight of a displaced educator. I honored our verbal agreement which they proposed, and they retracted it a year later; and over the phone, made me feel embarrassed and shamed for it.

I called to schedule a new patient exam and was asked what I'm interested in. After answering that question (with my concern about potential skin cancer) was I told that the doctors are not accepting new patients. I told the receptionist that it was strange to be asked what I'm interested in first, if the doctor is not accepting new patients. I asked if the answer would be different if I was interested in cosmetic services and she told me "yes". There would be a significant wait, but I could schedule for a cosmetic consult, and I could not have medical concerns addressed at such a visit. This told me everything I need to know about this practice. Skin cancer, which is potentially lethal, is not something they have time for - cosmetics pay much more.

They have their own parking! That is a huge deal for me going to Boulder. We were welcomed in and given our robes, towels and slippers. All we had to bring was our swim suits. They went over the locker room, lockers, spa area and when each of us needed to be outside the massage room before our respective appointments. My daughter got deep tissue massage, my friend and I both got Swedish. Randy was my massage therapist. He was great! I would request him again. I felt like jell-o by the time I was done. The spa area had a rainforest shower, cold plunge pools, sauna, steam room, hot tub and salt room. I started with the rainforest shower. I had never been in a salt room, so that was a must try. There was a button to call a staff member to turn on the mechanism for the room. Not sure what it did, but I could taste the salt in the air when I entered. The light through the salt blocks was quite relaxing. After that my friend and I sat in the hot tub until it was time for us to have our massages. We all were quite relaxed when we were done. Will be back!

Recently stopped by this location while staying at the Hilton and was pleasantly surprised. This…read moretype of stop in spa does not exist where I live and I thought it was a fun idea to try out and also to treat my daughter to her first facial as a nice way to relax during a stressful time and being busy with school. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful and fit us in together the same day despite it being a tight squeeze. I liked the half spa type thing they have going on, change your top but keep your pants on. The facial I received, the signature, wasn't as lux as other facials I've had but for the price I thought it was great. My only real issue was the lighting, when you're laying there trying to relax having a bright light overhead for the entire experience makes it difficult; at one point I had this lovely heavy mask on which finally darkened my eyes and was very literally in pain when it was removed due to the brightness of the lights on my eyes which had adjusted to darkness and my eyes started tearing due to the pain. Please, DIM THE LIGHTS! More spa like music would be nice too but I didn't really mind the Hozieresque music they had on. My daughter has dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and we went with the clear skin facial which is only 45 minutes but she didn't have much to say about it after other than "it was nice" so I'm not sure we got the impression and relaxation I was hoping for, she did also mention the pain of the bright lights in her face while laying on the table. Over all I really enjoyed my experience, it's a great option when you don't want to dedicate half your day to the spa, my tech Mo was very kind and skilled and I really enjoyed the time she spent working on my tight jaw muscles. Overall I would recommend this place and I would return myself. I do genuinely hope they figure out how to dim the lights because searing eye pain isn't very relaxing.

I think the person at the front booking my service who didn't let me know, was straight up dishonest.
