I have been a client with Mov for about a year (prior to the name change) and have had botox from both Dr. Collins and Chelsea. Both have been able to get me a very natural apperance. For anyone with 'first time' jitters, don't be scared, just do it! They definitely go light on your first treatment, and you will not feel weird, plastic or frozen. I have also had the hydrafacial (Which I LOVE) and can't wait to get PRF. This was my second time getting my lashes done. I was nervous because my first experience wasn't the best (it was 5hrs long!), but having Kano work on me gave me a sense of relief. There's a stigma that newcomers don't do well, but that isn't the case. Kano answered my questions in detail and was very honest. I got a classic set done and I LOVE it. How do they charge this much and tell us that they will last several weeks. I have never given a negative 1 star (or 2) star rating to any company, EVER. Save your money, time and lashes...go somewhere else. Read below to see why I gave them 1 star. I have had extensions for almost 2 years in a different city/state; and love them. Needed to find someone in Boulder. Found this company on Yelp. Less 1 star: Did not enjoy my interaction with this front desk scheduler. When I asked about who had the most experience, not a certificate, actually hours on real clients. "Oh everyone is great". My eyelash lady trained under the better folks in this company for a year. Um... From my experience, only new technicians do length bc it is easier. Less 1 Star: All of my volume disappeared (from fill in June 1 from different town/state) and left length only from Center of Attention. She used 1 to 1 lashes; told my lashes needed a rest. I usually get 3 to 1 mink. It looks bad after 14 days, that should not happen. Less 1 Star: After 7 days after fill, Center of Attention extensions starting shedding (normal amount is normal) my lashes were so inadequate. I literally had to use mascara, glue in pieces to get to next fill (14 days after fill). Never happened to be before in 2 years. Less 1 Star: Front desk charged me for Eyebrow wax, but my person said I had like individual 2 hairs, so why charge me? I should have pressed this issue. I was so over everything that I just paid. I Paid 300$ for eyelash extensions only to get bacterial conjunctivitis in both eyes less than 24 hours later. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs, clearly they don't sterilize the equipment or practice basic personal hygiene. So not only am I out 300$ for the lashes, plus doctor visit, an expensive prescription, missing 2 days of work and to top it off the wedding I'm attending out of state in 2 days is ruined because it looks like I was in a UFC fight and lost. I can't talk about how this salon compares to others because this was my first experience with lash extensions, but everything about Center of Attention was comfortable and calming so it's a 5-star for me! In case you don't know, chemotherapy causes loss of ALL your hair, not just the hair on the top of your head! Some body hair, including my eyelashes and eyebrows have never grown back like they were prior to my treatment. There are so many issues to deal with in breast cancer recovery and I've finally made my way down the list to: be comfortable in my skin again. I've heard about lash extensions but considered them an extravagance for women with too much time on their hands. And then one day I stared in the mirror for 15 minutes. Five minutes after that I was yelp-ing and google-ing salons in the area! My confidence and self-esteem has been transformed. While no one else can pinpoint the difference, I feel beautiful again. I can't recommend this place enough! Everyone was super friendly, the environment is chic, and service was amazing. I did both eyelashes and eyebrows (tinting and waxing). I didn't pluck my eyebrows for a month before I went for my appointment, because a long history of overplucking. Sarah picked the perfect shape and color. I was super surprised on how big my eyebrows looked afterwards! Plus, she give me tons of really helpful advice the whole time and was super friendly. Ariel did my eyelashes and was very nice too! The eyelashes work with my big eyes and now I don't have to wear makeup. I have been getting my lashes done here since October and am so beyond in love with this place and my lashes. It has seriously changed my life. I wake up and feel so much sexier and confident and can never imagine not having them on. I'm seriously addicted. I have been getting lash extensions for about 6 months now. I am not a really big primper and dont wear makeup generally so getting lashes is not that typical of me. However, once I did it - I literally couldn't stop. My eyes look great when I wake up, when I am working out, all the time. I've tried the lash specials at other spas and was so embarrassed by how they looked, I've had them immediately removed.
