I first went to Vasu for treatment of visible capillaries in my cheeks (the Celtic curse). I had tried EVERY laser or IPL within 30 miles of Boulder with absolutely no success. I then saw that Vasu had an RF device called ThermoClear which treats just about any superficial skin issue. Jennifer gave me a very thorough treatment, but I had low expectations considering all the YEARS of other ineffective treatments in the past. Well, I look in the mirror this morning (nine days past treatment) and, BY GOD, the treatment is actually working!!! All of the most visible capillaries are either gone or diminishing. I can't wait for my next appointment. I'm thinking a few more treatments will take YEARS off my skin. (Also, ThermoClear is about half the cost of your average laser treatment.) This is life-changing for me--more self confidence, WAY less makeup, more swimming and exercise, less time getting ready and, most importantly, no more wasted time and money on other useless treatments. So it seems unimaginable to me that with all the little time I have that I can actually vouch for the fact that I now have a flawless bikini area--never have to shave again! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! My appointment was in mid July, and these ladies run a very clean and safe operation. I felt like I was in very very qualified and caring hands with Kate. I have lighter skin/eyes with freckles and black hair, and Kate used the Alexandrite laser on me that day. It's been ages since my last laser hair removal from a different shop, and thank goodness for the upgrade in technology!!! Now granted, I'd had several sessions with the YAG before so there isn't as much hair anymore, but this session barely hurt, especially compared to the YAG. They also have a jet of cool air that blows onto the treatment area that makes WORLDS of difference for helping with any pain. I searched around various shops that offer laser hair removal in the Denver/Boulder area, and the prices here are very very fair for what they offer (top notch lasers and quality service). I highly recommend Vasu for laser hair removal, and I plan on coming back for one of their facials sometime soon! read more

As a 22 year old woman I always thought that laser hair removal was something I would do off in the future, maybe when I was 30. You know, because it's pricey and I don't have that sort of money laying around right now. WELL! after talking to a girlfriend who was getting it done in Florida, I became curious and started looking around at prices here in Colorado. I came across Vasu on Yelp and was immediately impressed with their plethora of great reviews; I was convinced to schedule a consultation once I took a look at pricing. I showed up for my appointment and the place looked small but quaint and cute! The inside was clean and welcoming. I waited a bit as there was a woman who came in before me that was finishing up with paperwork; and then Kate came over and explained how laser removal works and answered all the questions I had. I called back the next week to go in for my first (of six) treatments as I had bought the underarm hair removal package. I've been to Vasu for 3 of those 6 treatments and feel comfortable and welcome every time. And even better, my underarm hair is almost gone!! It's thinned out and is so much more manageable, I can't wait to see my results after all 6 sessions. I would definitely recommend Vasu to anyone who is looking for laser hair removal! I am so thrilled to have found Vasu! I have had laser hair removal for underarms and brazilian. Ladies, no more waxing and shaving! I had my expectations that even if its 70% effective, it would be worth it. Let me tell you.....this is the real deal! I cannot believe how incredibly effective this is! Absolutely no more hair growth. I have been seeing Katie, who has been incredibly professional and so sweet to visit with. She has made me feel so comfortable (especially when all your glory is out there). The equipment is up to date and the environment very relaxing and clean. I just did my second laser hair removal treatment with Lynnae! First of all, Lynnae is such an incredible technician. She is so talented, sweet, and knowledgeable about the products and procedures. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and answered all my questions! I haven't been able to shave or wax my arm pits or bikini line for years because I get extreme razer burn and irritation. I finally caved and started doing the laser hair removal and I AM SO HAPPY I DID! This was my very first experience with laser treatments. I had thought about it a lot but was too worried about any possible problems with scaring, burns or blisters in my face. When I finally made my appointment with Jennifer for a consultation, her professionalism, knowledge and caring attitude gave me the confidence I needed to go ahead with the 3 treatments, IPL, Sublime and Sublative. Obsessed with this place! Did laser years ago at a competing salon and saw very poor results. I have only done 3 laser sessions here and AMAZING results!! I barely ever have to shave as is and I still have 3 appointment to go. Also, the laser they use at Vasu cools your skin while it takes out your hair, so I no longer endure pain while getting a treatment, unlike my past experiences with other salons. The most amazing par to Vasu is the woman who runs the show and is there all the time...Katie Roche!! She is so friendly yet professional, and she really knows what she is doing !! Last fall I purchased a series of 4 Oxygen facials with derma planing. My esthetician I received was Elizabeth Waters. She was very accommodating and professional. I had never had derma planing before and her gentle and efficient touch had me at ease. I am surprised by the 5 star reviews so my experience could have been a fluke but I should share so others are informed. I went in for a facial that cost $150. Over the phone I was told it would last 45-60 minutes. I was truly excited for a treat after this stressful year. My appointment was 4 pm and I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paper work. Katie said they were running late and didn't finally take me to the room until 4:20. She did one treatment and didn't utter a word about what it was so I had no clue what she was doing. Then she asked me how it was. I was confused and said fine. Then she proceeded to exit the room and told me to leave when I was ready. I looked at my phone and it was 4:46. The entire thing was 26 minutes tops and cost $150! I couldn't believe it. Luckily I had a Yelp gift card so I wasn't paying the full amount. But yikes. It was certainly not relaxing and I was pretty upset by the lack of service. read more
