Bought laser sessions for a friend. Called ahead to make sure the place was trans friendly. They claimed they were, but the technician misgendered her. When they asked her if she would like to schedule more sessions, she said yes but if she was misgendered again, it wouldn't be good. Hair to Bare then cancelled her future appointments. I called to ask why and they claimed "it wouldn't be good" was a threat. My friend was crying and isn't a threat to anyone. This is transphobic/racist behavior. read more

The person I saw for small area hair removal was nice. I was frustrated that they never gave me a numbing cream for the removal and it hurt like hell. I tried to use what I had, but it was not the best. I went religiously to every appointment and Never saw any results, at all. The last appointment I had, they canceled on me the day of, for the second time. I was ok until they sent me a text telling me that I was going to be charged $25 for a no show. Really!? Ok mistakes happen, so I figured I chat with them on my next appointment. I call and leave a message for a call back to schedule and instead of calling me, they f'in TEXT me, to tell me to call them again to schedule an appointment! WTAF?? No, I'm done at this point, it is clear to me that this person does not value me as a customer. read more

Have been very pleased with Sherie and the laser hair services I've recieved here. We have worked on legs, underarms, and bikini line and I have never had an unpleasant experience. They have always been professional and even when last minute cancellations happen (life!) her partner has been great at fitting me in as well. This is a service that could easily get very awkward and I appreciate their professionalism. It looks like the negative reviews are largely about lack of results - that's something the technician cannot fully control and any hair reduction is good for this! This is not a permanent method of hair removal! With that said, after years at this point, my legs haven't needed re-treatment in a while. read more

I just finished up my Groupon with Hair to Bare. I'm pretty surprised by how well this is working and I couldn't be happier with the results. I only wish I would have started this whole process sooner. I'm actually extending for a few more visits as the results keep getting better with each treatment. One thing to be mindful of is that this process will not work for everyone. I knew that going in and that is why a Groupon was the ideal way for me to give it a shot without making a huge investment. I bought a Groupon for a 6 session Brazilian laser procedure. Throughout the 6 sessions, I thought it was going well- I even tipped after all 6 sessions. The bikini area was getting "smooth and bare" as expected. A few weeks after the last session, all the hair has grown back! It's thinner, but all grown back. When I talked with Cherie, the owner and technician, she said even 60% hair removal is considered "normal " and even though it grew back, it's thinner, so again considered "normal." After spending over $300 on this package, I'm pretty unhappy. read more

This place is very nice... no push to buy other services which seems to be what a lot of places do. Sherrie is very nice and tells you everything up front. Laser Hair Removal does hurt a little... but I asked her to pump up the laser volume higher because I have a higher pain tolerance. I bought a Groupon for this service and was really impressed with the price. It's too early to tell if the hair is going to go away but I am glad I did the Groupon first to see if it is going to work on me. Shree is AWESOME! I gifted myself for my 55th birthday to have laser hair removal and it's one of the best gifts I've ever given myself! It has been three months since I finished my six sessions with Sherrie. I bought the groupon, as it seems most other reviewers on here did, and I thought it was working great. I'm a pretty hairy person and she did say it might take more than six sessions, but at this point, it's like I would need another six sessions or more. Sheri has been so wonderful! I started getting laser hair removal from another company who shut their doors without refunding me for any of my unused sessions (several hundred dollars of investment). I was looking for a place to continue my treatments and Sheri was kind and gracious. Her business is a million times more clean and professional than the last place, and the treatments are so much more effective than the last place, too! Of course, laser hair removal does not work over night, so I am appreciative that Sheri works patiently with me to add sessions as needed. It is also not pain-free, but she is kind, gentle, and conscientious of that, using cold packs and giving advice to make it as painless as possible. I purchased a Living Social deal for 6 sessions at Hair to Bare to use for lasar hair removal on my bikini line. While Sheri is very professional, after 7 sessions (I paid for an additional session), I still have probably just as much hair as before! I spoke to Sheri during a couple of sessions, stating I was surprised there was still so much hair and she said that is usually takes more than 6 sessions and you can grow more hair if you've lost a lot of weight recently (which I haven't). A couple of months after the 7th session, all the hair had grown back so I contacted Hair to Bare via the website to give Sheri the opportunity to remedy the situation. She did not respond. I bought a groupon for this business about 2 months ago. I am currently 2 treatments in to a 6 treatment laser hair removal package. Although I was terrified, Sherri (the owner and technician) quickly calmed me and explained that it doesn't really hurt like the nightmare stories you read about online. The procedure both times has been almost completely painless and extremely quick! The most I ever felt was a very tiny hint quick flash of heat and it was over before I could figure out what it was.Sherri runs a wonderful business and performs not only laser hair removal, but skin rejuvenation, breast firming, and various other skin repair and tightening treatments.
