My spouse and I went to Safeway Pharmacy on Sunday to get flu shots. I picked this location since…read morethey actually had Sunday hours and they're very close to where we live. We'd completed the consent forms online ahead of time (do recommend, makes the process easier) and we checked in after waiting in line for a little bit. The process was pretty typical but the reason why I'm giving 5 stars is their waiting room! Their waiting room is an actual ROOM! With full walls and a door (which has a passcode lock on it, I presume for securing the area after hours) and their treatment rooms are actual rooms with solid doors and walls too! I've never seen this in another pharmacy and I was really excited about it! The pharmacist was personable and professional. My spouse and I were in and out quickly enough and happy to have additional protection against the flu. We also got 10% off groceries coupons we can use any time until the end of the year which is cool.

This review is for the pharmacy…read more I picked up a prescription yesterday. There's a note in my file about needing a certain generic for this drug because I don't react well to others. I had no reason not to trust that they gave me the right thing but when I got home, I discovered that it was the wrong generic and that this particular generic is one I've had a very bad reaction to (likely it's an additive since generics can vary the additives but not the main ingredients). The pharmacy was closed by the time I got home so I called this morning. I was told they won't take back the unopened package (it comes prepackaged, it's not something they manually count) and I'd have to get a new fill from my provider, which isn't going to happen because I get this medication from an online provider. And I'll have to eat the cost since I pay cash due to my insurance not covering the drug. I also do not have any for my dose tonight. I've been trying literally all day to get them to see reason. I was told by the pharmacy manager that it was on me since I didn't verify that the medication was right. How, exactly, am I supposed to do that when they immediately put it in a paper bag as fast as they can, and won't let you see or handle it, until you pay. I was told since I paid for it they won't do anything about it. The system is rigged to allow them to make mistakes and not fix them. It's disgusting and predatory that they won't do anything to fix it. Go anywhere else for your Rx needs. I'm going to be switching all of my family's medications somewhere else and tell every single person I know to do the same.

I already knew that they'd only sell you the tire size that originally came on your vehicle. That we-know-best policy is why I default to Discount Tire. But Walmart had a really low price on tires for my F250, so I ordered a couple. (The rears were worn out and the fronts were fine.) I answered every question, made an appointment, and paid for both the tires and installation. After driving 45 minutes, I arrived early for my appointment. Stood around waiting for anyone to show up at the service desk for several minutes. Finally a girl did, moving slowly. I told her why I was there. She asked if the F250 was 4 wheel drive. Yes it is. "Our policy is to only install 4 new tires on a 4 wheel drive. Would you like to install 4?" No thanks, the front tires have a lot of life left. "Well, our policy won't let us install your 2 new tires." I never use 4 wheel drive on pavement, but they couldn't care less. Later, they sent me a text saying they'd cancelled the appointment because I hadn't shown up. Argh!!! If you want to have a dumb, customer-unfriendly, we-know-best policy like that, that's your decision to make, but don't let me make an appointment, wait a week, waste a morning going to the appointment, and then refuse to perform the service that you scheduled, plus required me to pay for in advance. At this point, Walmart could be giving away tires and I'd still go elsewhere.

On Sunday, my spouse and I went to this Safeway pharmacy to get our updated COVID and flu vaccines…read more I had to scramble to find vaccines for us because the pharmacy we'd originally planned on going to cancelled our appointments at the last minute but this Safeway location had appointments for the following day so I snatched them up. I wasn't sure what brand of COVID vaccine we were getting, I was just happy to get one at all, but it turns out it was our preferred brand. The waiting area is out in the open to the rest of the store and the treatment room is too small for 3 adults to fit in. I have a needle phobia and explained I needed my spouse there to keep me calm so the pharmacist offered to do it in the waiting area. I was fine with this and appreciated his willingness to work with me. The shots themselves were fine, pinch and some burning. The pharmacist was very friendly and personable while professional. My spouse opted to go into the treatment room. I debated whether to do 4 or 5 stars because the waiting area and treatment room isn't as nice as another location in town but the pharmacist more than made up for it. I'd definitely recommend this location for vaccines. They also offer things like strep treatment/testing and some other things.

We became eligible for COVID-19 boosters and wanted to get them done before the holiday season started. We arrived and waited to check in. The staff checking us in was very nice and efficient. We turned over our CDC vaccination and insurance cards and filled out a quick form then we got back our insurance cards (they kept the vaccination cards to add further records) and we went to go wait since there were two people before us. The pharmacist giving us our vaccines was very nice, thorough and professional. Everything was explained to us before it was done and I found that to be refreshing because most pharmacists don't tell you step by step what they're going to be doing and when. I don't know if this is because I mentioned I was nervous but I really appreciated being told what was going to happen before it happened. Once we were done and had our updated vaccination cards, we headed on our way. It was a really fast, efficient, and positive experience.
