Best subs I've ever had in my youthful 57 years of life!!! Cheba Hut is God's blessing to the world of subs!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Stopped by to grab picnic subs and was immediately drawn in by the cool sandwich names and fun atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It feels like a great spot tucked into downtown Longmont, perfect for after-work drinks, snacks, and hanging out with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the sandwiches themselves were underwhelming. With a name like Cheba Hut, I was expecting something warm, toasty, and packed with melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Instead, my sub was a bit soggy, lacked enough filling to really satisfy, and the bread was harder than expected, which took away from the overall experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]That said, we'll likely be back because the vibe is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next time, though, we'll probably stick to drinks and appetizers. She always recognizes you and makes you feel like she's happy you're there. I ordered a Blunt White widow & she automatically knew, I would eat half and ask for the other half to go so she had it pre wrapped for me. Outstanding food. This place not only has delicious subs, but it's the ONLY place I will order French onion soup. You've also got to try the hibiscus tea. I do believe it's a little past time for some housekeeping in the overhead spaces. Just don't look up! We go 2-3 times a month. If you enjoy driving to a shop and getting excited about a sandwich DO NOT COME HERE! The staff failed to make my sandwich because they were too stoned to make any real effort. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and got some form of salad on bread (the bread was wrong as well). They all were to stoned to know the difference between left and right. They need to be fired. Sampled the sandwiches at this location a couple times over Christmas week with family in town. The shtick of naming burger sizes off marijuana cigarettes is an interesting choice. I couldn't really figure out the wherefor/why the sandwiches were named they way they were, but thankfully the taste wasn't as confusing at the naming schemes. I was slightly disappointed the second time I ordered the 5-0 as the jalapenos seemed overly spicy and my family members stated the same thing about their burgers. Very strange, so I just picked off the visible ones. We'll definitely order from here again. Very interesting experience at the Chiba Hut, and although I'm a square and find the name a little off putting where I'm from, understand weed is very much the center of the culture of Denver Colorado. No longer the home of wild horses, farming, palisade peaches and the Rocky Mountain. Weed has taken full root! Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich We ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and was impressed with the quality of the sandwich. The issue we had was from door to order was 22 minutes, and another 30 for our order. They even have a sign that suggests you are going to be waiting for a while so perhaps the weed is being used while making the sandwiches. Great sandwiches. I like that they have a couple vegetarian options although I am not vegetarian. It's just sometimes I don't want too much meat. Well when I am in the mood for processed smoked pork on a sandwich, this is a good place to go. I like the 5-0 sandwich the most. Service is meh. Could be better, but it's okay. I think they go a little too far with the obnoxious weed references, but in a way that's what makes it cute. I like to eat in, but they have a somewhat quirky decor that may not be for everyone. I order delivery from here every couple of weeks and I find it consistently good. I especially like the chipotle mayo sauce on their subs. The herb bread is a fantastic sandwich base and they have a wide array of ingredients available. The store manager is very friendly and I enjoy interacting with him every time I go in person. I wish they put more of each ingredient in the sub, sometimes it doesn't feel like there is enough. Me and a friend have had horrible experiences visiting this place when Genevieve is the bartender. The two times as of late that we visited we were basically ignored for the majority of the time by her. It took 40 minutes to get a sandwich, anytime we reached out to her to ask if we could order another drink she would have rudely respond as if we were bothering her. She spent a good majority of the time hanging out with her friends outside of the bar area during her shift. One of her friends was heavily intoxicated literally screaming and yelling at a point where I could not even have a conversation with the person next to me. Genevieve not only allow this but also encouraged it. During our visit, she also complained that she was too cold and demanded that we turn the heaters on in the seating area for her completely ignoring the fact that we had been there for 20 minutes and she had not even asked us what we're ready to order. I'm very surprised at the behavior of this employee and the fact that she remains employed. Have not had this experience with any other server or bartender. But I will definitely not be back. Horrible service!!! We came to Longmont to host a educational competition. We decided to order online for 10 of our judges. When I came to pick it up, I waited in line and let the cashier know why I was there. A girl walked up behind her and raised her voice at me. She said that we had inconvenienced them by placing an order in the middle of the lunch rush. I assured her we will NEVER be ordering there again.
