Excellent service! Delicious Cajun and bfast foods (& drinks). Lovely patio for dining. Don't skip the special beignets with your coffee! FYI: giannnnntttt cornbread biscuit muffin thing came with our meal -- I had to bring it home, too full! Really enjoyed our breakfast trout with egg/hollandaise and other food choices

We visited this place for a nice breakfast before heading up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our Airbnb was in Longmont, so this was conveniently in the same area. The food was super hearty and tasted like a home cooked meal. Food ordered: - Beignets: Delicious fried pillows of bready pastries covered in a generous dusting of powdered sugar. The pastry was not too sweet, which was nice, and tasted yummy with their homemade strawberry rhubarb jam! - Cajun Breakfast: A ton of food, with red beans with meat, 2 eggs, hollandaise. We got grits and potatoes on the side, both had nice flavors. It also came with a biscuit, which was nice and buttery and moist! And tasted great with the jam. - Creole Breakfast Burrito: Stuffed with red beans, egg, and carnitas. I was stuffed! It was very wet though so I had to use a knife and fork to eat it. Overall they had delicious breakfast with nice Creole flavors!

Having lived in New Orleans it's wonderful to have this New Orleans style restaurant in my neighborhood. The music and the ambiance bring back memories of my time in NOLA. One of my favorite dishes is the Pain Perdu which is New Orleans style French toast. The homemade syrup is swoon worthy! I add an extra egg & substitute the bacon for sausage. There's also fruit in the plate! The servings are so large at this restaurant! They have one of my favorite chais in Colorado. However (and I may be the only person who feels this way), the beignets are nothing like the ones in New Orleans. They are supposed to be light and fluffy on the inside, but these are heavy and do not have the correct consistency. Other than the beignets, the food is delicious, the staff are friendly and the vibe is top-notch.

    Beignets were so yum!!

This is such a cute little restaurant and the service was great! I met my daughter for breakfast and all the food was fantastic.

The location in Longmont was so cute - in an old house! We enjoyed french press coffee and beignets to start and then had the shrimp and grits with a side of trout. It was all delicious!

I have the memory of an ant, but I remember breakfast at Lucille's in Fort Collins ten years ago. I vividly remember where I sat, what I ordered, and how incredible I thought it was. Apparently folks have caught on and Lucille's has grown like weeds. I knew I had to go when I heard a location up in Longmont. I overheard a waitress saying that the owner was in the kitchen today. Perhaps he sprinkled an extra dose of deliciousness on my breakfast. I ordered the blackened salmon accompanied by 1/2 grits and 1/2 potatoes. Easily one of the best breakfasts I have ever had

There was a line out the door when we came here for brunch, and I can see why. The food is fantastic. I had the shrimp and cheese grits, as well as a chai, and they were all excellent. My kids had the French toast and sausage, and my husband had shrimp etouffee, and everyone was happy. It's a cozy little place, and the service is good and quick for as many people as they had to serve.

    Fresh beignets!

We were also offered bar seating or the enclosed patio- so there are many options. Based on others reviews, we needed to order the banging cauliflower- and it was excellent. Highly recommend. I ordered the Chilean salmon and it was HUGE so took half of it home for lunch tomorrow. Very tasty. Husband has the crab cakes- they were pretty thin but there were three of them. It would have been better with more lump crab- the sauce and sweet potatoes were tasty. Our cousin enjoyed her ahi tuna bowl. Service was excellent! laurel took great care of us. I was a little irritated, as it was slightly breezy, but I got over that quick once I tried the food. We had the steak frites, the Thai pork tacos, an old fashioned, and the chocolate decadence for dessert. The steak frites were great- the truffle fries were seasoned with garlic, and served with a great cream sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked rare. Super tender. But the tacos absolutely stole the show. Sweet and spicy with a touch of crunch, and the potato fries were stellar too! The old fashioned really let the whiskey shine, with just a touch of citrus. I think I would try a different dessert though- the decadence was good but didn't quite live up to the tacos. The interior was decorated very cute- mid century modern mixed with plants and some neon signs that said cute things. Our server was excellent- very friendly and on top of it. Overall, I would unquestionably come back next time I am in the area, and suggest you go there too. It's totally worth it.

Would have liked a bit less oil in the dish. For me, more oil does not mean more flavor; it means more slime. Was having a LOVELY quiet little lunch for one, in the restaurant which was slowing down to close. 85% of the tables were empty. The host made the choice to sit two people on a "let's get to know each other" work date, at the table right next to me. PLENTY of empty tables in the joint. One table over would have been amazing. My relaxing lunch was over as I had no interest in being in the middle of their "let me tell you about my childhood" conversation. Slow Thursday. . . My mom ordered the bacon and avocado Benedict. It looked great and she enjoyed it. I ordered the Tangerine Combo with the pear French toast. It sounded amazing on the menu and was very pretty when it arrived, but unfortunately it wasn't my favorite. The bacon and home fries were overcooked, and both the home fries and eggs were bland. The French toast itself was okay and served warm-ish, but what really threw it off was the pear sauce. It was cold, very cold. I understand food safety considerations, but the cold sauce brought the entire dish down in temperature. It made the toast cold, and the cinnamon butter on the side couldn't melt even if I could add it-not really sure how I would have added it with the sauce. I had expected something more like warm, caramelized pears rather than a pear version of apple sauce. To be fair, the menu description wasn't very detailed, and I didn't ask clarifying questions. I made an assumption about how it would be served, so I take ownership of that. I ended up just eating half of it, as I'm not someone who typically sends food back or makes a fuss having worked in the industry myself before. The part that really impacted our experience was the service at the end. My mom noticed I wasn't thrilled with my dish and quietly tried to share feedback with the waitress. We weren't asking for anything to be comped or replaced. She simply wanted to pass along the feedback. Unfortunately, the waitress repeatedly interrupted her and seemed more focused on fixing a "problem" than listening. My mom couldn't get even a few words in. The waitress was very defensive and I'd say a little aggressive in her communication. When my mom softly suggested she calm down because she wouldn't let her speak, the waitress responded loudly, "Did you just tell me to calm down?" We paid and left shortly after. It was disappointing because the atmosphere was pleasant and my mom enjoyed her meal. I may have been more understanding if the restaurant was busy, but there were fewer than six tables occupied and several servers on the floor preparing for the morning rush that would start in a few hours. Overall, it just wasn't the best start to our day. In the end we just left feeling embarrassed and confused at how things ended up.
