My husband and I met up with a friend for brunch on a Saturday. There is ample street parking. We were welcomed and seated right away. My husband got the Farmer Skillet. A hot skillet filled with ham, green peppers, onions and cheese along with their country style potatoes. He got his two eggs over hard and chose sourdough toast to go with. He enjoyed his breakfast. I got the Huevos Rancheros. Always a favorite. I asked for basted eggs and they came smothered on top of the hash browns. It was accompanied by beans, rice and warm flour tortillas. My breakfast was tasty. I wished there was a bit more kick in the green chile, however, there was Cholula on the table so I kicked it up myself. Our friend had the Migas, three scrambled eggs, green chiles, tortilla chips, onions, diced tomato and melted cheese. His came with rice, beans and a side of green chile. He chose chorizo as his meat and also asked for a side of biscuits and gravy as well as some flour tortillas. He enjoyed every bite. Our service was great. Our waters were kept topped off. This is a cute little local diner, with some major standouts. The cinnamon roll was fabulous- yeasty, with a lovely icing that was nice and thick. It took 10 minutes after our meal came out, so I think they are cooked individually. If I were to return, I would try their coffee and just have a cinnamon roll. It was that good. The biscuit and gravy was interesting as well- the biscuit seemed to be made from a similarly yeasty dough, and the gravy had big chunks of sausage links in it. Eggs and the sourdough toast were good as well. The hash browns were the only part of the meal we didn't care for- if I were to return I would try the other potato option instead. read more

Friendly service right off the bat. The place was clean and right off a cute little shopping strip with old buildings. It's a cafe with a sort of diner menu. They do brunch along with standard lunch and dinner options. Besides aioli being on a lot of items, I was fairly pleased to see a nice selection of food to choose from. I ordered a Philly, and my husband ordered the Chicky (chicken sandwich). We also got a basket of tortilla chips and a cup of green chili to dip them in. The food was diner food--greasy, cheesy, carb heaven. A bright spot was my Philly and I got them with onion rings which were perfect. The fries didn't have any salt, which we were sort of surprised by, but easily fixed. The Chicky was not a show stopper, but at least a nice alternative to beef. Sodas were slightly on the weak watered down side, but overall, it was a nice stop for lunch before an afternoon perusing the shops. My favorite breakfast entree is chicken fried steak and I think this one is in my top 5. The breading is not too thick or too crispy and the steak was moist! The gravy is just as important and they also got it right. I scarfed it down in less than 5 minutes, bite after bite, not even saying a word! I took one bite of the eggs and potatoes and was done since I didn't enjoy either, but at least the chicken fried steak was great! I'll return to try the meat skillet and breakfast burrito. The service was okay. I sat at the counter and it took a while to get my order. I wasn't checked on, just acknowledged when I asked for a box and when the bill came. I placed the card on the counter, waited, went to the restroom, waited some more before my card was ran. Maybe they were just really busy. Or I give off bad vibes! Below average French toast that just felt tough to eat - Migas (3/5): similar to a chilaquiles but not exactly as the crunchy parts weren't tortilla chips just chip strips (?). Also the 'green chili' sauce was actually orange and not spicy in the least. I left the horribleness of Billie's in Brighton off of Bridge to Main Street Cafe also in Brighton on, Main! It was not that much better! I waited 38 minutes. I ordered Eggs, country potatoes, side of Biscuits and gravy with 2 pancakes. I give them 1 Star just like Billie's. Yelp needs to have half stars and maybe MSC would have received 1.5 Stars. I should have just drive 22 miles to McCoys in Denver off of I-70 & Federal! Great service, great food and worth the 15 minutes of waiting. The pancakes were made with a ton of care as they are very thick and filling, i couldn't even finish all of mine there. Eggs and bacon were great as well. Service was spectacular, but the silverware and floor of the restaurant could've been cleaner. The total for this entire table with 2 cups of coffee was about $37. Came here for lunch with a work colleague. The host discouraged me from taking an open booth - turns out it was because the table was wobbly. Such a distraction! Overall, this little place has tons of potential but it just needs a bit of TLC and care. It's homey and comfortable but a little worn down. I ordered mexican eggs with beans and rice; my colleague ordered the benedict. The food is good - and the portions are huge! I was underwhelmed by the green chile served on the side - not much flavor there - but each establishment has its own take on green chile and who am I to say this one isn't exceptional? Some of you may love it. Overall, as others have noticed, the servers seem pretty disillusioned. The food is I would say it's really good one of the main reasons for coming back . Not a big fan of their pancakes as they're a bit dry for me but other than that everything else has been good . Meh. I moved up north, so I'm busy trying new restaurants after living so close to the city for so long. Decided to try Main Street today. I ended up getting the Milwaukee omelette. It was pretty overcooked and dry. And I think my thought was Milwaukee means cheese. At least that's what I think of in the state of Wisconsin. It had a reasonable amount of meat but just a little bit of cheese melted on top. So it was just a very dry omelette. If I go again, maybe I'll get Mexican food with some green chili or perhaps Benedict with hollandaise. I opted to upgrade to the cinnamon roll. It came with my breakfast, and I didn't eat it till towards the end. It tasted like it had been cooked a few days ago and heated up in the microwave. That works as long as you eat it really quick. But by the time I got to it, it was pretty hard. This is really close to my new home in Thorton. So I may give it another try and update my review. read more

So let me start off by saying that I was excited to try this restaurant. The service was decent up until payout! My Boyfriend and I went in and mind you this is a small cafe really not too big or much going on. Our server was being VERY nice at first, but we dropped $100 at time of payout. We wanted to take some friends out to breakfast that live near Brighton so we looked at the reviews and found Main Street Cafe. When we suggest this cafe, they were familiar with it and had positive comments to share from their previous visits. I ordered my favorite classic-style breakfast of hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs with a stack of pancakes. One of the keys to this classic breakfast is the cook on the hashbrowns and they do it right here. The hashbrowns were seasoned well and the edges were crispy. The bacon was a nice thickness and they cook it until it is melt in your mouth delicious, no limp fatty bacon here. But let's talk about the pancakes, they were light and fluffy. Cooked just right to soak up the syrup and make for a real treat. This is comfort food to me and let's just say I really enjoyed it. The wait staff was on their game. They were efficient and quick in their service. We came between the breakfast and lunch crowds so they were gracious and let us visit with our friends for a while at the table. My favorite person in the entire world took me here for breakfast and then we went on a walk and it really was the best day ever. The coffee was so so so yummy and they have the creamiest creamer!!! I highly recommend a breakfast sandwich. It is the perfect amount of food and the bagel tastes like it straight up came from a little cafe in New York City. It's that good!
