Flew in from NYC and had an overnight layover. The Waffle House was the only thing open near my hotel by the time my flight arrived. Having not eaten for over 24 hours, how could ANY place not be good?? Turns out, pretty easily. Slow service. Mediocre food. I had a patty melt and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger. Both tasted and looked like school cafeteria food.... So, so disappointing. Such low quality food. The hash browns that came with both meals were overly greasy. My patty melt came with bacon and it was forgotten. Maybe I should have gone with a waffle, but I was so hungry I didn't think it could tackle my hunger. Regardless, such a let down. read more

If you're just getting out of the airport wanting a quick waffle, I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS WAFFLE HOUSE. We (my girlfriend and I) just left this Waffle House location and we will definitely NEVER come back. We entered the diner and no one greeted us and we noticed we were the only people there so we sat down wherever and we had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to ask for our drinks when there were 2 people behind the counter just talking and laughing amongst themselves. We were already pretty frustrated by that so we just ordered 2 waffles. We were still the only two people in the entire diner but it took them 20 minutes to give us one waffle and another 10 minutes to give us the second waffle.. The place didn't seem to sanitary and there was an employee walking by as we ate with a grimy bucket filled with black water. The employees there weren't kind at all, they actually made us feel rushed to eat so we could get out of there fast. Never again will we return. read more

I usually love Waffle House. On January 12, 2018 my brother and I went in for lunch. When we sat at the booth closest to the kitchen we noticed a big, live, rodent. We waited for a bit to try and inform the staff of the issue. Since no one came out to attend us we left without being able to inform the staff. Only going to the Waffle House on 1960 and 45 from now on. read more

Out of hash browns (SERIOUSLY???), out of gravy and was given tea instead of coffee. Won't be returning to this location.

This use to be our go to Waffle House .. Not sure what happens to this place. Service extremely slow so many complains from customers. So far no refill on my coffee for over 20min. No food leaving the kitchen at all this place is a disaster today. I would steer clear of this place unless you have a hour just to wait on your food.. Txchaser read more

Service is pretty slow. If you are planning to go on a Sunday be prepared to wait because it does get packed and service is very slow. Food is good majority of the time. The last few times I've gone with my family the food is very greasy. We used to visit this location very often because my son loves waffle house and staff was excellent they even knew us, but since the staff is completely different the service has gone down. read more

Place was filthy. Squashed roaches on the floor. Food on the floor near the grill. Service was slow. We went on a Wednesday morning around 10 am. There were more servers than customers and service was still slow. The food was OK. I doubt I will return because it was so dirty. read more

Maybe it's because I arrived very late, very hungry and very tired but these guys really took care of me. I had no flight and no luggage. I had already traversed most of the east coast trying to get home and my mind was a total blank. I walked in here and Angel could see I was just not having a good day. She helped me speak the words I needed to get my order and then rushed it. It was the best thing to happen to me that day. I can't thank her enough. read more

I have always wanted to visit the Waffle House. I got a chance to and was not disappointed. I am planning another visit soon. I liked everything about this place. Service great. The food was great. This may soon be my new regular spot. read more

Avoid if possible, wait until you get into the city and try to go to another location. Aside from being super busy they had bad service, and they were super dirty. Our waitress brought us our coffee with no spoons she brought the spoons when we were leaving. Ordered waffles they were brought out before or meal. We were Sat by a window, and I couldn't finish eating because it was so hot, there was hardly any ventalation and sitting by window made it worst. I could go on but I won't I'm sure my point was made. read more

I give this place 2 thumbs down. Terrible service, filthy establishment and food was bad.....if you want to go to a real waffle house. Go to the one on Hwy 6 and beechnut. The best, 2 thumbs up!! Thank God we live close to that one. We stopped here on our way home coming from the casino. We wished we would have waited.... won't be back at this one. read more

I would like to review the food, but we never got that far. When we walked in, there were 3 customers at the counter and all tables were riddled with dirty dishes but one which we sat at. There were about 4 waitresses behind the counter doing who knows what. We glanced over our menus and decided what we wanted and placed our menus back in the holder. We waited about 15 minutes with zero acknowledgement from the wait staff. Finally we realized we were not going to be served, so we drove to another Waffle House across town. Worst service ever!! read more

I never have a problem with the food it's my favorite place to go have some food any time of the day! But lord knows I drag in going because it's always dirty !!!!!! This is the third time their is flys at the table we eat today 4/11/15 around 2pm I went to go eat with my boyfriend and we sat in the last table before the restroom and all of the sudden their was a bunch of bugs from the trash flying around and I asked if we could be moved and they said yes that's fine and I said theirs a lot of flys around here and they said yeah we know it's because a pipe leak and it's waiting to get fixed ! Like wouldn't you had fix that the same day? read more

Greeted by roaches when we sat down the waitress just flicked it off and went about taking our order. Grits were dry, bacon wasn't done. Gnats and flies were flying around everywhere!!! Asked for takeout box to dispose of this food . Disgusting ass location! Should be ashamed read more

Dirty. Both our orders were screwed up. Got scrambled eggs instead of over easy. White toast instead of whole grain, no onions in the hash brown. All were requested at the time of service. Waffle was like undercooked cake mix. During the whole time our party of six were there, the manager and ALL staff members sat at the counter and counted out their tips in loud voices. Place was filthy, floor very greasy and slippery. My first time at a Waffle House. I will probably never go back to one. read more

Its below average. Cheap and mediocre food. The waffle was ok. Im surprised that a whole restaurant chain spawned from a mediocre waffle. Just went there because I missed my flight and stayed at the hotel nearby. read more

Service was friendly and welcoming, Food was great and the place was very clean! Very nice for my first impression.

I always get the chocolate chip waffles and hash browns! My favorite place to eat. I came it today to order some food to go and it literally took just 10 minutes and I was out the door! read more

I remember going to Waffle House in Georgia and I loved it. I was excited and told my husband lets go. The food was def no disappointment we had the patty melt. It was great, we loved it. The waitress was very polite and made us feel welcomed. I was however disappointed in the cleanliness and the size of the diner. The place needs a make over with new equipment. Overall I was happy with the food and customer service. read more

The service was great and the waitresses were very friendly. The food was mediocre at best though. I got the peanut butter waffle and was not impressed. read more

Good fast food with crazy people serving and dining...Whats not to like!

A somewhat newer location; Quick service and the food was very good for the price under $10 with tip

Had bugs in the bathroom so I have to give one star despite I came in a couple times and had a wonderful waitress with speedy service, had to find a new place for lunch breaks after that. So sorry. read more

Oh my gosh! Love love love this place. I'm a west coast girl and we don't have WH's there. If you can try it, do so! Waffles are perfect. I guess thinking about it now the only thing I would change is : having real butter for my waffle. (They might, I didn't ask.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) but besides that- great service, good prices, and 24 hours! read more

The raisin toasts are to die for!!!! Great service, the cook always singing will put a smile on your face. Clean place and nice food. (Go with an empty stomach!!!!) read more

Must admit, always wanted to try a Waffle House and was actually surprised. Pretty darn decent for breakfast. Will recommend if you're around the airport and want a diner style experience with classic diner breakfast. Scrambled eggs with cheese, hash browns, crispy bacon, cinnamon toast cooked on a flat top. Bring a sweater though. It's cold in there. read more

I walked in at 830pm and place was a mess. No one greeted me. I sat there for 7 minutes while two waitresses walked by looked at me and did not say anything to me. Something was burning so I watched a waitress climb on top of a table shoes and all to see if a machine was burning. I walked out. read more

Go here all the time. Depends on what time of day you go on what service you get. At night the tables are usually dirty while the waitresses sit right behind the counter doing nothing but if you go during the day its usually fine. Food is always good though. read more

Delicious!! For some reason this was the best waffle house ive been to, came to Houston for a week to visit my buddy and this was the first place we stopped at to eat after I got out of the airport, everything tasted great, great atmosphere and food, the beautiful young waitress serving us really made it great too read more

Am a regular here but the service is just getting worse. Longest wait to just get drink order started. Forget getting acknowledgement from the wait staff took about 15 minutes and it wasn't even busy for a late Sunday breakfast 1:30 in the afternoon. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Came in around 10:30 a.m waited until 11:00 to get to a table .. Mind you there was not that many customers... All the tables were empty but no one seemed to want to clean them off... Finally the waiter by the restrooms cleaned her area up!!! To get our order of drinks it took another 20 minutes... When she finally asked for our order she didn't even give us a menus -_- ... Like really? Still currently waiting on our drink & food & it's 11:43 ... Next time I will NOT come here!!! read more

On 9/3/16 my family and I arrived shortly after 12:40 am we pulled up to a patron less lobby. The workers were all outside on break smoking cigarettes. They returned inside 1 by 1 as customers started to pull up. We had not gotten out of our car yet. They came in and started cooking and nobody washed their hands. My husband decided to go inside and ask for a manager, a waitress wearing a baseball cap says there was no manager on duty. She apologized and said she would say something. Needless to say we didn't eat there! I am calling in to corporate about this incident. I had to select a rating I wouldn't have gave them any stars read more

is there a no star rating, I went in at 10:15, I guess you have to be black to get any service. There was only seven people in there. the waitress was piddling around with a calculater, I sat there 5 minutes no water, no coffee, I stood up and walked right out. Pitiful service and dirty areas too read more

I go to this Waffle House once a month when flying in / out of IAH - no real problems in the past but went in on Dec 25th after getting off a flight - only one other customer there - but all tables were filled up with dirty dishes - looked like they did not want customers- so we walked out. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I've been to other waffle houses and this one is by far the worst of those I've been to. Myself and three coworkers came for breakfast. Our waitress was friendly which makes up for the fact that she forgot part of an order. Every other employee seemed friendly except for one. A younger girl named Jessi had an attitude problem so bad it made me want to walk out. She looked miserable as she greeted customers with a scowl on her face as if they had just killed her dog. It got bad when she started getting confrontational with the cook, mistreating him and speaking to him in a way that the "house rules" don't condone. It must have been about ten minutes of her disgusting and public display of a poor attitude and lack of respect for coworkers and the franchise before she partly shut her mouth. The whole restaurant was looking at her and some even left. While the food may have been backed up because of a lack of organization, if her attitude hadn't SUCKED as much as a Hoover, they probably would have stayed. read more

While two employees (Briana and Giana) worked very hard the other employees (I guess managers) stood around and talked. Then they went into the back to talk more while the restaurant was full and behind smh. The only reason they got two stars is because of the two hard working young ladies that tried hard to do everything. The wait was longer than it had to be because of these reasons. read more
