I had a coupon for a free 6 piece tender nugget box and decided to redeem it for an early dinner. The coupon required me to dine in which and while it was fairly empty inside, yet still relatively busy. The staff were really nice. They actually helped each other out when they had questions and to make sure that everything was done from working the line, serving customers and tidying up the location. I enjoyed my meal. The food was fresh and hot, I had to wait for it to cool before eating. The chicken tasted great and truly tender. I chose country gravy as my dipping sauce and it was good. It was a lot of food for one sitting, so I didn't finish everything - I chose to not eat all the toast, which wasn't the best tasting item. It was clearly made according to my order. I have been a loyal customer of this location and many of your other restaurants, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I have come to expect a consistent standard of cleanliness and professionalism, but this location fell well below those expectations. The men's restroom was in unacceptable condition. It had a strong odor of urine, there were visible signs of urine spillage on the floor, one of the stalls was completely out of toilet paper, and there were no paper towels available to dry my hands. A restroom is often a reflection of how seriously a restaurant takes sanitation, and this one showed a concerning lack of attention. The beverage station was equally disappointing. The counters were covered with sticky drink spills and had clearly not been cleaned for some time. Even more concerning, there were multiple flies flying around the drink area. Seeing insects around a self-service beverage station raises serious concerns about cleanliness and routine maintenance. I politely informed the employee at the front counter about the missing restroom supplies and the condition of the facilities. Rather than acknowledging the concerns or showing any urgency to correct them, I was met with a blank stare and no indication that the issues would be addressed. Customer concerns should never be dismissed, especially when they involve sanitation and health standards. I also observed employees using their phones while working. Food service requires professionalism and attention to cleanliness. Employees should remain focused on serving customers, maintaining the dining area, and ensuring that sanitation standards are consistently met. Front-of-house staff represent the restaurant, and they should be welcoming, attentive, and confident when interacting with guests, particularly when responding to legitimate concerns. This restaurant has great potential, but success begins with leadership, employee accountability, and pride in the workplace. Clean restrooms, a sanitary beverage station, responsive customer service, and engaged employees are not optional--they are fundamental expectations. What I really enjoy about slim chickens is that their chicken is always fresh and seasoned! I've never had a bland piece here. I would give it a 5 but a few times i've come the chicken wasn't tender but again flavor was there. Even the bread that is served with the combos has such a tasty garlic butter on it. What elevates their food in my opinion is their large variety of homemade sauces! My favorites are the honey mustard, honey bbq sauce and cayenne ranch. We have the app & it was a BOGO deal when we arrived at the store the manager Irene showed my wife how to get the deal and the young lady behind the register was very helpful too, in completing the order. After we received our food, the manager came over and asked if we had tried their strawberry shortcake & my wife told her we did a few months back & it was stale. The cayenne seasoning is very minimal on the breast itself and I could barely taste it. The little dab of ranch sauce (or whichever you sub it for) on the bottom bun is not even noticible either. I chose mango habanero, but couldn't even tell you what it tastes like since there was so little. While it's great they don't slather your sauce on the sandwich, they still need to give you enough to be able to taste it. Although with some sauces, slathering would totally be okay. Since I wanted to try one of their other spicy sauces, I asked for a sample of sweet chili. They then charged me 29 cents for it! Guess this really is no chick fil a where you can sample as many sauces as you want, for free. Their sweet red chili sauce is pretty decent tho and is just like it sounds, sweet and has red chili pepper flakes and seeds in it. Not spicy though. Fries were decent, but just typical frozen seasoned fries. I'd rather have Wingstop fries. I just ended up dipping my fries in the sweet chili sauce. I didn't really like their lemonade, it tastes almost powdery and their raspberry tea is very strong, so I just stuck with peach tea and sweet tea. I got the 3 tenders meal with a side of fried pickles and my husband got the chicken sandwich meal. The chicken tenders were not seasoned enough for my liking. I like Popeyes tenders and Chick-fil-A tenders for a reference. The fries were seasoned nicely with salt, but the fried pickles were overboard seasoned with salt. It was so salty that I HAD to use the ranch that the fried pickles came with because it took some of the salty taste so I could eat some more and not waste money. The Slim Chickens sauce is not for me because it was too thick and had a tomato paste texture. The fountain machine for drinks were not working so my options were only to order ice tea or lemonade and I didn't want either so I didn't get any drinks. The line was WILD, I'm talking, I waited 45 minutes just to order food in my car at the drive thru line and this occurred around 2pm Saturday afternoon. I would not recommend this place overall because the food was either too much salt or not enough of anything.
