The food was hot and everything was cooked perfectly, from the burgers to the garlic fries. I had the chili relleno burger and my boyfriend had the brisket burger. Both were cooked and no pink was found. After trying my burger he said he wished he had purchased the same thing. I ate half of mine and took the other half home, but he ate all of his. One of the co-owners, Robert, took our order. He was super friendly. While eating we heard him talking to the staff in the back, and you can tell they all liked each other. The restaurant was spotless. I didn't go to the bathroom, but judging by the restaurant and what you can see of the kitchen, I'm going to assume it was also clean. I like knowing he used certified angus for the burgers. You can taste a difference. He also uses a local baker for the buns, and sources other things locally as well. A couple friends and I stopped in a couple of nights ago to try this place for the first time. Let's start with the owner: as soon as we walked in, we were acknowledged (as was every other person). He made sure everyone was welcomed and I really loved that. You could tell he was passionate about his business and happily told us about different choices, helping us narrow it down to 3 different burgers, 3 different fries and milkshakes. We were getting our order to go so we took a seat while we waited and the owner came over to chat with us a bit as he cleaned tables and swept. The place was so clean and that was also a highlight for me. Once we opened up all the food we were so shocked at the size of the burgers. They are very hefty. You get a lot for your money. We ended up trying the fried egg burger, Mac n cheese burger and bbq burger. All 3 were a hit for us. For fries we did chili cheese, garlic Cajun, and sweet potato. Again, absolutely delicious. For the milkshakes we chose a classic vanilla and a cookies and cream and they were both so rich and yummy. We will definitely be back. The buns do not stand up, and while this is usually a fail, these buns add a lot of flavor to the burger, causing us to overlook the softer bun. Both our burgers were incredibly good (the Baja Burger and the Chili Relleno burger)!!!! I'd give the food an 11 out of 10 if possible. Why 5 stars? Because it perfectly hit the burger spot I needed. --- --- --- I was scouting indoor playgrounds in the region that I hadn't taken my son to yet and found one in Deerbrook Mall. The next thing I did was figure out where to eat in the area and Mean Burger was located practically next door (give a few hundred or thousand feet). I was really excited about the menu because pretty much all of the burgers and fries looked great. I opted for the Mean BBQ Burger, but held the mustard. I typically gravitate to BBQ burgers, but this one was a little different. Rather than just having BBQ sauce, it had what was described as almost a BBQ pico-like sauce with chopped beef mixed in. It was delicious. Messy, but delicious. The fries were also great. There are a ton to choose from and I opted for the Mean Garlic Cajun Fries. These were ideal because I love the flavor of garlic, but hate when things are caked so heavily in garlic that you taste it all day. This was right in that happy medium. After the meal, while waiting for my extremely slow eating son to finish, I was looking up coffee spots nearby, but then I happened to see a little sign at the register that said they sold coffee here! Amazing. I sipped on that while the kiddo ate his grilled cheese. I also probably interacted with 4-5 different staff members here and all of them were so nice and helpful. The burger was served on a delicious sourdough bun with about a 1/2 lb. thick hand formed Angus beef patty. It was a hefty and solid burger that was tasty and enjoyed. It was very good and at a fair price. I didn't enjoy the fries as much due to the garlic flavor. That's my fault as they were delivered as advertised. No points deducted for this. This burger restaurant opened in the same spot as the former burger place, which many people complained about, including me...for their bad service and numerous disclaimers posted throughout the restaurant. It appears the new owner also utilizes certified Angus beef burgers, similar to the previous establishment. Let's see if the burgers are any better and deserve the current 5 star rating. They currently offer 22 different types of burgers, so it makes it difficult to decide which to order. For my first visit, I ordered the mean burger, with onion rings and a soda from the fountain. Everything is still a la carte here with the new ownership, so this is a $15 combo basically. The burger is fresh beef, about 1/3 lb, using a sweet bun and seemingly the same ingredients as the previous business. To me, they're cheap ingredients, iceberg lettuce, white onion, basic pickles, mustard. There is nothing upscale about this burger. The seasoning on the patty is minimal, too minimal. The onion rings are your standard frozen variety. Service is better now, thankfully. Overall, the experience is too similar to the previous version, so i can only give a 3.5. read more

We ended up in Houston overnight because of flight delays. This place showed 5 stars, and it deserves the rating. Their menu is huge, so we had a hard time choosing a burger. After we did, they made it to us very quickly, and they were awesome. A ranch BLT burger and a jalapeño burger with the appropriate sides. All fresh and piping hot. Add on a vanilla milk shake, and you've got a solid meal. The dining room is bright and clean. It's not fancy, but you don't need fancy for tasty burgers like this. Hi Loves First I want to say I have been waiting forever to go to this place. Found this place on YELP and it had amazing views. It is located out in Humble Texas. I was attracted to this place because it is so hard to find a place that sells Turkey & Chicken Burgers. Coming from Los Angeles where we have unlimited Turkey & Chicken burger spots that taste soo good, when I say I have been dreaming about this place - that is an understatement. First it was a cute little spot located next to a Walmart, which means there is a little traffic trying to get to their strip, but not too bad. Customer service was good. No complaints there. Now I got a few things to try out. A Mean Turkey burger with all the fixings and asked for grilled onions and another plain Turkey & Chicken Burger patty only with cheese. They do have a burger bowl that I noticed was being advertised but wasn't aware of it until after I ordered. Would have been nice for them to make that aware since I was ordering two patties, holding the bread. My Turkey Mean Burger was really good. I would have prefered the patty to be a little more seasoned but it definitely did the job. Nice size patties and the buns are so soft, they just melt. I also ordered the Cajun Fries and they was a really nice crispt to it and definitely seasoned to perfection. The Chicken Burger is actually grilled, I would love to see a ground chicken burger on the menu as well but everything was very pleasing still. I will definitely be going back to try out some more items on the menu. They have a crazy fry menu with so many options. One more thing is be prepared to spend 27 cents per sauce!
