Check your food before you leave! I got home ready to devour these boudin balls just to toss them in the GARBAGE. I am unimpressed to say the very least. Fortunately my lemonade drink was good even though they didn't have any ice available.

Very nice owner working a food truck with her daughter. Very patient with me as I was asking about the menu. I decided on the loaded fries and they sure are loaded! Quick service and the fries were very flavorful. The lemonade was ice cold, not too sweet and refreshing. Give this business a visit!

Touched down in HTX late and needed something good and close. You already know the move... straight to Yelp. Saw a few spots, but we landed at Da Food Plug food truck and listen... they did not miss You can see the food. Seasoned. Flavorful. Cooked like somebody in that kitchen actually cares. As it goes if ya ain't sneezing it ain't seasoned‍... don't bring me no bland mess. And not overloaded on salt! A real cook knows... No bland bites over here pls and thx. And let's talk about that blueberry lemonade. I am NOT a sugary drink person... those days are behind me lol. But that right there? It did exactly what it needed to do. Sweet, but not reckless. Refreshing. Balanced. Hubby said, "not you" ... the drink was hittin' ‍ We grabbed our food, sat in the parking lot, people-watched, and ate in peace. Quiet. Focused. IYKYK. The woman who took our order was super nice, answered all my hubs questions with patience, and didn't rush us while I was getting my photos and vids. Customer service matters... and she delivered. This place need not be so close to home..I will NEVER lose weight.. got the loaded chicken fries and they were amazing . Wife got the wings I forgot the sauce she chose but it was slightly sweet with some heat and also delicious.. Have to find a new route home so I don't stop every time they're open read more

My husband and I had the fried fish plate and it was AMAZZZZINGGG!!! So well seasoned from the fish all the way down to the fries(plate comes with 3 pcs of catfish, fries and 2 half slices of Texas Toast bread) and the bread seemed to be really fresh. We give it 4 thumbs up! read more

I stopped by one Friday night and got some of the boudain balls for a snack. They were delicious. There was plenty of meat inside. They were also flavorful. They have some on the menu made with hot cheetos. I didn't try them because I'm not a fan of hot cheetos, but I'm sure they're tasty also. read more

I had a fantastic experience at Da Food Plug! I ordered the beef Cajun fries and they were really good! Each bite had enough sauce and flavor, it was super delicious. The side of bacon and onions were really flavorful and complimented the fries well. I wish there was more! I definitely recommend checking them out of you're in the area. So we had heard such good things... But, first when we pulled up theres was not one car in the lot. We ordered the famous hot cheeto boudin balls along , $22 bucks for 3 huge portions. Along with the hot cheeto tenders and loaded chicken fries. Tha boudin was ok. Nothing too special, the tenders tastes like tenders, but rhe loaded fries were actually good. It was VERY overpriced and the worst part is that 5 other vehicles pulled up and 3 of them got their order before me. I heard other folks order the boudin balls too, and they got their order before mine. They told me 15-20 min. Ok no problem. It ended up being 45-50 min wait. This was bothersome along with other folks getting their food before us i know food service and how orders work, and 100 percent there was no food cooking before i got there. Unfortunately we wont be back to this establishment. But if you do go. Get them loaded fries. read more

The restaurant was spotless. I didn't go to the bathroom, but judging by the restaurant and what you can see of the kitchen, I'm going to assume it was also clean. I like knowing he used certified angus for the burgers. You can taste a difference. He also uses a local baker for the buns, and sources other things locally as well. I would definitely eat here again any day.
