Definitely not your typical sports bar. We grabbed a bucket of Modelos and Coronas, watched some football and just hung out for a while. I also liked that they had food trucks surrounding the place, so you have plenty of options when you get hungry. The Blacken Shrimp Tacos and fries we grabbed were really good too. Overall, just a fun, laid-back spot with a little something different. Good drinks, football, food trucks and exotic cars, hard to complain about that combination. I'd definitely stop by again next time I'm in Humble.

My daughter and I visited Porky's Food Truck Park on a Friday night around 9:00 p.m. We've been…read morehere several times before, although it had probably been about three months since our last visit, and this experience was definitely different from what we remembered. Normally, Porky's is packed, so I was surprised that we were able to park right in the front. There were cars in the parking lot, but once we walked inside, there really weren't many people. We also noticed a sign at the entrance stating no children under 18. My daughter is 17 and was with me, so we went in together without an issue. We walked around checking out the different food trucks and eventually decided on a Smash Burger. The burger was absolutely delicious! No complaints at all about the food. Where things got confusing was around 9:30 p.m. We went to the bar to order drinks and get some ice, only to discover that the bar was already closed. The music had stopped, people were leaving, and it appeared that the entire inside area was shutting down. We were really surprised because the advertised closing time online was 2:00 a.m. Even the food trucks seemed to have different closing times. The truck we ordered from told us we were their last order because they were closing at 10:00 p.m. He explained that their truck is owned by Porky's, while some of the other trucks are independently operated and have their own hours. Another family arrived while we were waiting for our food and was just as confused as we were. They had specifically come because they expected a lively atmosphere and multiple food options. After realizing things were shutting down, they decided to leave. That was probably the most disappointing part. Porky's used to be somewhere you could come later in the evening and expect music, people, food trucks, drinks, and a fun atmosphere. This time, by 9:30 on a Friday night, it felt like the night was already over. My daughter and I still enjoyed ourselves because our purpose was really to spend some time together, talk, and enjoy each other's company, and those burgers were GOOD! But I definitely think the hours need to be clearer. If the main area and bar close around 9:30 and individual food trucks have different hours, that should be communicated online so people know what to expect before making the trip. Hopefully this was just an unusual night, because we've enjoyed Porky's in the past. I would definitely come back for the food, but next time I would come much earlier.

I added black garlic and shrimp, and my husband paid for extra ramen -- but when we got our food, we genuinely couldn't tell which bowl was supposed to have the extra noodles. I'm a big fan of Tamashi Ramen, so I came in with similar expectations, and this just didn't compare. The broth was very oily, and especially for the price, I expected much more. My bowl had one measly piece of pork, about four shrimp, some corn, and not much else that made it feel worth what I paid. The presentation looks great in pictures, but the actual meal was very underwhelming. Between the portions, oily broth, and paying for extra noodles we couldn't even identify, it simply wasn't worth the price for us. We left disappointed and won't be returning. What could improve: The portions need to better match the price, especially the protein. One small piece of pork and only a few shrimp felt very skimpy for what we paid. The broth could also be less oily and more balanced in flavor. And if customers are paying extra for add-ons like additional noodles, the difference should actually be noticeable. Better portion sizes, a more balanced broth, and making the paid add-ons feel worthwhile would make a huge difference.
