I originally ordered my food to be delivered. After waiting 30 minutes past the delivery time, I called them. They informed me the delivery handled by DoorDash. Offered to remake my order and have it delivered. I thought that was nice but asked if I could pick it up instead. The website showed my order delivered but to the wrong address. My new order was ready when I got there and they offered me a drink for my inconvenience. They have the best tea. My king club wrap was good, the cookie good and the red beans and rice surprisingly very good. By the time I got back to work the DoorDash guy text and said he was waiting a long time and delivered another order. I felt this was good because I waited over an hour and had to drive there and back, adding another 25 mins. I enjoyed both meals. read more

I been wanting to try this place for awhile and had the perfect opportunity to do so and it was FREE courtesy of Tmobile. I had the McCallister Club the Mr had the New Yorker with chips and there famous lemonade(very good by the way) both sandwiches were made very well. The staff was very busy and the line was super long(tmobile was giving away free sandwiches) the wait was definitely worth it and I will be back to try other menu items. They kept the inside of the restaurant pretty clean and made sure people were getting there food amongst the chaos. read more

i did curbside pick up called multiple times no answer but when I walked in had to get my food it wasn't even busy. everyone makes the sandwiches differently I can tell because every time I order my sandwich some days they are big or small or missing an item on the sandwich . then I got home and ate only HALF of sandwich and threw it up after immediately. never coming here again. its not even worth a refund or a fight. you lost yet another customer. read more

I thought Mcalister's was gonna be another Jason's deli or a firehouse sub, but it's not glad I gave this place a chance. Being that this was the first time and will not be my last, they have some of the freshest sandwiches I had in a long time. I ordered the Ruben sandwich and it was probably the best Ruben I had in a long time, the corned beef was so juicy & the thousand island dressing was so creamy. The sandwich was on a toasted marble bread which I never had before and it paired so well. The wife ordered the the tuna salad on a croissant she said it was really fresh and the croissant was very soft and flaky. Pretty much we both gobbled it all up. For dessert we shared a brownie square, the brownie is so good so soft and not over powering with chocolate. If your a gluten free freak they do have a menu special to that. If your wondering where this place is it is in the new plaza where Kroger supermarket is off of 1960 it's right next to Comcast. By the way service was great and workers are friendly. Never got my order! I ordered online around noon and you told me to pick it up in 35-45 minutes. I went by your store to pick up my order and they told me there was not an order online from me. I haven't been to a McAlister's since it was on my college campus and that was 2012. As soon as I passed by all the memories came back. I went in and saw my favorite item on the menu, the nacho basket! I quickly ordered the choose 2 because I could not just pick one item. The service was very timely and the employees were very helpful and welcoming. Came in through the lunch rush and my food was still at the table in a timely manner. I have been to this McAlister's several times with my wife because she use to like one located in Dallas. Out of the three times have have been here, the staff was actually friendly once. Today the staff was not very friendly and they seemed to want to be anywhere but here. I just do not get a positive vibe from the staff like I do at similar locations in the Humble area. I kinda feel sorry for the staff, because they seem to be nice kids. Well being out of coke today was the straw that broke the camels back. As soon as I got to the order counter, I let their employee know that this was my first time eating there and if she could give me any recommendations on what to eat. Amber was the employee who took my order in the front. SHE HAS AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Unfortunately the kitchen staff was slow when I was picking up and order for a grubhub customer. It is a shame the the kitchen staff did not prep enough potatoes and due to there lack of work ethic the customer and grubhub driver suffer. So glad to have McAlister's in my area, it's quite refreshing. Today I stopped in for a late lunch with my husband and to my surprise the place was pretty empty. In my experience with this deli, which has always been at the Beaumont location, the restaurant has always been super busy. Not here, maybe due to the time or possibly the holidays. My husband always gets the same thing, with french dip. Today he picked for me because thats what happens when I'm indecisive and unsure. McAlister's was recommended, so I decided to give it a go. I had high hopes when I read the menu and other reviews. I ordered the southwest turkey melt with potato salad, tea and broccoli soup. Everything was good, except the sandwich. I really wanted to enjoy my meal, but the bread was HARD AS A BRICK. I couldn't even cut it with a knife. It's helps if a sandwich can be bitten into without hurting on's tooth. I'll give it one more try, in hopes that I don't encounter the same hard as bricks bread. I placed a curbside order. I tried calling three times. The first time the phone went to a busy signal. The second and third time I just want to busy. So I got out of my vehicle and walked in. Two unhappy looking employees upfront. A Mgr coming from behind the counter with a frown on his face. Another employee grabbing a bag and heading out the door. Maybe three or four tables. I explain that I tried to call and that it just to busy. The employees just points to the phone and says it's right here. We didn't here it. I tell her I have a curbside order and I would also like a piece of carrot cake. They obviously do not like working for McAllister's Deli. There were no smiles, no urgency to get my order, just a here u you go!! I don't know if I will be back. The sandwich was burn on the edges, the vegetarian chili was awful, how much barley can you put in a chili? There was so much broth! The potato salad was good.
