These rolls are so soft and tasty but I dug in before I could get a pic. Also, each entree comes with a salad I always get Cesar but they do have another option. My main course is always the chicken Alfredo with angel hair pasta instead of the fettuccine noodles. I've never had bad service here everyone is so warm and friendly. The look and feel of the restaurant makes you feel as if you stepped into an Italian persons home. From the warmth of the people and the portion sizes this is a great place. My husband and sons love the chicken Alfredo here. I always order something with shrimp. We usually order take out but we decided to dine in tonight. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems ordering take out these days are better than dining in. I was not impressed with the quality of the food. I ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. It's shrimp tossed in a spicy marinara sauce with angel hair pasta. Basically marinara sauce with crushed red pepper. It was more like boiled shrimp tossed in marina sauce along with some of the undrained pasta water. I'd give it a 6/10 since the shrimp wasn't overcooked. The house salad was simple, just old soggy lettuce, grape tomatoes and red onions. The garlic knots were a bit on the dry side, which was fine for me since I shouldn't be eating too many carbs. We ordered bottled Michelob Ultras and they might as well been room temperature. The waiter came to our table and just said hello then awkward silence for what felt like several minutes. Poor waiter service. Brought everyone's food out after making a dish mistake and asking on of our guest if he had a plate, even though he had a salad that came with his dish in front. This is my second time using the catering services. I called ahead to order but had to call back and they didn't have my order. Luckily I checked back the day before and was able to place the order. Ordered for my group: lasagne, chicken Marsala, chicken penne Alfredo and grilled chicken Greek salad. Also ordered 4 dozen garlic bread rolls. The lasagne was a full pan, everything else was half pan. They also included marinara and angel hair pasta. My group was 26 people and it was plenty of food. It cost 260.00 plus tip for all this food. Such a great bargain. I wanted to pick up at 1030. They were busy when I arrived and my order was not ready until about 1045. I had to wait. The food was phenomenal and so much! The prices were super cheap for the amount of food. The lasagne appeared to be a little scorched on the top but tasted delicious. They had really good lunch prices... half price of the dinner menu. Honestly, this place has really gone down hill. I am from New Jersey, and I'm use to a specific standard when it comes to Italian food. Italiano's once up held it to a decent extent. I once enjoyed the great customer service and consistent food. However, things have changed drastically. I haven't been back to this restaurant in years; as they do NOT take allergies seriously. Several times, have I had to send my order back; due to their waiters negligence. I can recall a time, I ordered to go and didn't realize until they were closed that my food contained my allergy. I essentially starved that night. Today, my husband and I went again to give it an honest try. I led the conversation with what I am allergic to. The waiter was even training another employee. I also stated I don't eat meat. This will be important later. I wanted to order a specific item (shrimp scampi) no shrimp and swap for salmon. He insisted I get another dish instead that also involved salmon. He yelled at the employee he was training to get it right and write the order down. Just for the main waiter to forget my water and not mention I have an allergy to the kitchen. He sat my food down and I haven't stopped itching since. My meal of course had shrimp on and in it. They offered to remake it but it was going to take an additional 15 minutes and I'm the worlds slowest eater. The manager came over when I requested. But I feel that he should have came immediately when he realized the error of his employee. My husband leaves for a work trip soon and we didn't even get to eat dinner together. The sampler appetizer was very disappointing, comprised of just a few tiny fried mushrooms and generic low quality factory tasting raviolis and string cheese. I ordered a chicken parm and asked to replace the spaghetti with fettuccini, which they were able to accommodate. The tomato sauce on the chicken was a bit watery, but the chicken was big and juicy.
