Employees need a lesson on Customer service, they were extremely rude when taking my order the first time. It took over 20mins to get my meal. So the second time I went, I ordered online. To avoid the interaction. But after arriving at 7pm ... 15 mins after the app told Me my sandwich would be ready. Im unsure on why she was so in a rush but my sandwich was not cooked properly and I never asked for a toasted sub nor did I ask for my lettuce and cheese to be melted . The service took 15 min to make my simple ham sandwich that had ONLY LETTUCE . I asked for mustard and they only gave it to me on the side and as well the place was smoked out with burnt toast and it needed to be dusted , swept and mopped . I ordered two party trays which comes with kosher pickles and I was told they don't have an enough pickles for my order and that they can only give pickles to the customers that come in the store. I called the catering manager and her response to me was I'm at home don't call my phone but I was given her number from the employees in the store. Tarryn was professional but Kayla is rude and needs more training. The place was so dirty and trashed. I was also told by the manager that the site is outdated and pickles don't come with the catering orders. I know it's not true my company orders from firehouse all the time. I am not sure if they hate uber eats but I like to order my lunch through uber when I'm at work and can't leave. This is the second time they mess up my order and I'll be sticking with the humble location from now on. My first time I had asked in the notes if they could give me Vanilla Coke (since they have the mix machine to do so) got regular instead. Alright no biggie. Second time, somehow did not give my drink to the uber driver. How? I don't know. It showed in my order and I paid for it. It tasted as I expected but seemed a little light on the ingredients in comparison to other Firehouses where I have eaten the same sandwich. Also, the cleanliness of the floors in this location were suspect. It almost looked liked the floors in the dining area had not been cleaned properly the night prior. The middle floor of the dining area was absent of trash and food but there were food particles along the edges. It really looked like they had not swept or mopped well in a while. When I see things like this, it really makes me wonder how clean the kitchen area is kept. If you don't take care of areas I can see, how bad are the areas I can't see? 1. It took about 10 min just to order at the cashier after waiting in line. The cashier didn't understand that I wanted a water bottle with my sub. He charged us for a combo and than a bottled water on top of the order. Which had to be corrected and took longer. 2. After the order was placed, it has taken half an hour and counting for our order. We have plans at 1pm, so we arrived at 12:10 in order to get to our destination on time. You know because with subs you're in and out, right? WRONG! It's now 12:53 and we are still waiting. The line to the cash register is getting longer and the little kids that arrived after us are getting antsy. We will now be late for our plans. If you are thinking this is a fast in and out place to pick up subs you have been warned. I don't know what is taking so long. It could be lack of training or it could be that they are down an employee... either way- management you need to clear this up. You know how it is when a business first opens... lines out the door etc... we were lucky to get there for an early lunch, so the crowds did not happen until we were leaving. I had the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sandwich, drink and chips.. $9.94 with tax. Sandwich was hot and fresh, brisket was tender. Overall the food was a 5... I was so excited to get to try this place today, I'm pregnant and I kept hearing about how wonderful the food is here. Pregnancy brings along heightened senses all around, yet what I found was a complete lack of flavor considering what I ordered, the meatball sub.
