The employee told me I was a little early and that my order would be out in about five minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, I stopped an employee to ask how much longer it would be. She told me that next time I should call because my food had been ready the whole time. That response was frustrating because I checked in with the hostess, provided my parking spot number, and was told my food would be brought out to me. At no point did anyone tell me I needed to call the restaurant. The issue wasn't that my food was ready it was the lack of communication. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong when I had simply followed the instructions I was given. I hope the pickup process and staff communication improve so other customers don't have the same experience I just did.
