Literally, THE BEST DUMPLINGS we've ever had!!!! They do not hold back on the filling. When they brought the food out we were astonished by how big and full they were. Hands down 5 stars!!!!

Food: The food was well packaged, fresh, hot, and plentiful. The only downside was the lack of flavor despite adding chili oil and one packet of soy sauce. Despite lacking flavor, I still enjoyed this comforting beef soup. The great service made it all worthwhile. Service: The BEST thing about my first experience with Dumpling World was the amazing customer service. I called to placed my order and the gentleman that answered was kind, attentive, and thorough. When I arrived, I was greeted with a genuine smile and kindness. Ambiance: I loved the vibe and cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the restaurant. I plan on returning for a nice sit down and ordering something else off of the extensive menu. If you're in the area, drop by and try it for yourself. You'll be pleased with their service for sure.

We are finishing our meal now, and can not wait to come back! Our favorite was the bok choy dumplings. Every dumpling was handmade and packed full of flavor. All of them were large dumplings and very filling. The spicy was just enough spice to enjoy but not to make you have regrets. Perfect meal.

The servers were very friendly and I liked how they were comfortably dressed very cutsie you could definitely wear casual attire the drinks were ok I ordered the ube taro brown sugar boba the boba wasn't the best texture it tasted premade but the drink it self was good. The soup dumpling was amazing great texture and nice and soupy on the inside the seafood noodle soup was delicious the texture of the noodles were thick and bouncy would definitely come back again

Definetly a spot to check out! Their dumplimgs are freshly made in house and amazing! Me and my boyfriend tried their Curry Beef Vermecelli Potstickers (which were huge!!) along with their Dandan noodles and Braised Pork Noodle Soup which were equally amazing but their dumplings were DEFINETLY the star!! We also got to try their Xiaolongbao and the soup in them was SO GOOD!!!! This spot is definetly one for the books!!

Really good food. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of room to sit. You can see them making the dumplings at the counter in the back corner. I got the pork and scallion spicy and sour dumpling soup. The Strawberry tropical refreshing tea with brown sugar boba. My best friend got the shrimp fried rice and pan fried thumb bun pork and scallion. Everything was hot and delicious. Finally we have a good dumpling place on the East side.

I absolutely love this place, the food is amazing!! It just opened recently and I'm so glad it's on the east side. Now I don't have to drive 30+ minutes to have dumplings. The service is good. They don't have too many servers I'm guessing due to not having many customers but they're always so attentive to the customers. I love the drawings on the walls and they play great music while you're enjoying your delicious dumplings! You can also join their membership for free which gives you 20% off on your meals everyday from 12pm-5pm. Overall this place is amazing! I've been coming here almost every week since I've discovered this place and they deserve more recognition.

I knew it'd be busy since it's a Sunday and Father's Day. But there were groups and groups of people standing outside and inside. I checked in at the kiosk and apparently there were 34 people ahead of us. I was starting to think we wouldn't be seated till at least an hour or so, but surprisingly we only waited for 20 minutes. The server and employees pushing the carts were all friendly. I'd be honest though, when we were first seated I felt like there were a bunch of carts, meaning lots of selection. But after 10 minutes, it was hard to even find one person. So really, you don't got much to choose from. I think it'd have helped if there was a menu at the table, that way we can order more and see what else is there. The shrimp shao mai and crispy shrimp crab claw was top tier. Please do not leave without giving those two a try! You can skip the pan fried pork & chives dumplings. That was a letdown. I think food wise, I prefer Fung's Kitchen over Ocean Palace. Majority tasted better and plus you get to experience the dimsum carts! However OP wins for conveniency: location and parking.

The interior definitely lived up to expectations, it's a beautiful, upscale space with a lot of seating. What surprised me, though, was how empty it was. For such a large restaurant, there were very few guests, and even the parking lot was nearly empty, which felt a bit unusual. We ordered a variety of dishes including the Crab Meat Wontons, BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Chef's Special Chow Mein, Spicy Chinese Wine Clams, Steamed Chao Mai Shrimp & Pork Dumplings, BBQ Pork Buns, and Golden Egg Yolk Lava Buns. Overall, the food was good, but a few items had an off-putting texture, some were unusually chewy or a bit gummy, which took away from the experience. The service was good and attentive throughout the visit. However, the pricing, especially for the lobster, felt a bit high compared to other well-known high-end seafood spots. One of the more disappointing parts of the experience was dealing with multiple flies constantly buzzing around our table while we were eating. It made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. Overall, I did enjoy parts of the experience, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

We came with a group of 18 people, and the bill ended up being around $972. Unfortunately, most of the dishes were more impressive visually than flavor-wise. The colorful green fried rice looked unique, but honestly just tasted like regular fried rice. The green beans were overcooked, so they lost the crunch and sweetness that usually make that dish enjoyable. The green curry was extremely spicy, but outside of the heat, it wasn't very memorable. The shaking beef dish looked amazing presentation-wise, but the sauce was too sweet for a savory dish, and the crispy rice pairing just didn't work well for me. I initially thought the duck dish was Peking duck, but it was actually the Jasmine Tea Smoked Duck. Even so, everyone at my table agreed we still preferred the traditional Peking duck style. The duck itself lacked flavor for us, and the skin was soft instead of having the crisp texture we were hoping for. The only dishes I genuinely enjoyed were the soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and fried dumplings. Most of the other dishes at the table were barely touched. If you're looking for colorful, aesthetically pleasing food and great presentation, you may enjoy this place. But if flavor is your main priority, this spot just wasn't for me personally.

But for me, this was some of the better dim sum I've had recently. Yes, you're in a grocery store lobby, so to speak, and yes, there's not much atmosphere other than the people streaming by going into that grocery store, but the three items I ordered (black bean ribs, har gow, shu mai) were all solid. Sadly, it seems like those days are long gone as the latter is on a downhill slope. Has ownership changed? (#1) I'm not sure, but so much else has. There's no tea offered, but bottled water. Service and the kitchen staff is a mess where it's most evident during their busiest hours. At one point, Cantonese was spoken but it also seems that's no longer the case. Previously the food was passable, but now it's near abysmal. Siu mai was hearty, but fairly bland. The same applies to their spare ribs (排骨), beef balls (牛肉球), and steamed glutinous rice in leaf (糯米雞). I felt their custard buns (奶黃包), fried stuffed crab claw (釀蟹鉗), fried glutinous dumpling (鹹水角) and the turnip cake (蘿蔔糕) were dried out. While the shrimp dumplings (蝦餃) and rice rolls (腸粉) mostly passed the test, it needed lots of soy sauce + condiments to be worth it. The only winner was their beef chow fun (乾炒牛河), where the beef and ho fun noodles were tender, while also being adequately greasy. The bonus bits of fried egg within were a nice surprise. While the prices range from $3.75-$9.70, a majority of it will average out to be $5-6 a dish. This isn't a terrible deal per se, especially during these times. However, it is a big price to pay for service issues and sub-par quality dim sum. While I'm hopeful that they'll rebound and I hope the Joy returns, but I don't think I will. __________ (#1) FZ / FJ peeps, where ya at?

The mapo tofu is one of the best we've had outside of Bellaire with spicy, savory, numbing, and warmth that you expect from a good mapo tofu. Crispy popcorn chicken is a classic that's spicy, lightly fried, and crisp. It has an authenticity that other places around can't replicate and makes you keep craving more. On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.
