Okay so hear me out: I haven't been to McDonalds in years. I started to lead a healthier lifestyle and truthfully, if I was going to break my diet, it wouldn't be for McD's. Especially given that most of their restaurants are hit or miss. Instead I would go to Chipotle, for example. However today I was in the area and realized just how much I missed their apple pies. So I thought, why not? I got myself a no 10 (chicken nugget meal) and apple pie and it was great! The fries were hot and fresh and my meal didn't taste as if it were sitting there for hours. Although the drive thru line was pretty long, it surprisingly went very fast, so I wasn't there long at all. The staff was also friendly and courteous. Now I'm not saying I'm going to visit here often, but after todays service, I wont mind trying again when the occasional craving comes along. read more

The staff could care less, I get its fast food but I have never gotten a correct order from this location. Wish I was exaggerating but any time I have gone to this location they forget something or just give wrong stuff. If you correct them, they act like you are the one who messed up. Heaven forbid when they forget your child's happy meal toy and you ask for it. They act like you're trying to scam a cheap toy. She only gets the happy meal for the toy and fries. On the plus side they are so bad that we hardly ever go to McDonald's anymore, so she isn't eating as much of that processed junk in the food. Came here and placed an online order I know breakfast was ending soon but wanted to get a nice little hash browns for my pup. Line was a bit long but was already inline before the deadline. Gave cashier my code and she was like some of your items are not available. I then stated what items she mentioned the sausage biscuits which is some super easy as I already ordered. Then I ask her what was available she mentioned the coffee. She had a nasty attitude wasn't accommodating or anything just asked if I wanted to cancel my order. Ran in to use the restroom but both stalls were full. An employee came out of one of the bathroom stalls tucking her green shirt in and talking on her phone. I work at this location and the managers are very unprofessional (not all) but most, constantly make racist jokes, half of the staff can't speak English and is very hard to work with and to understand other co workers. I would strongly advise working here. read more

If it's not Uber eats , they get my order wrong , if it's not drive thru , they always cancel my order . Prior to the latest rebuild of the store at this location, my experience was literally 9 out of 10 orders were wrong - except for breakfast, which that crew always got my order right. Since the rebuild, lunch and dinner service was dramatically improved. However, about 1 out of 10 are still wrong. The latest was tonight's missing 6-piece in a $45 order. I get it, it's a big order.... but this is what you do. Fast food. Multitasking multiple orders, big and small. All it would have taken is one person double-checking the order before bringing it out to curbside (I don't make large orders in drive-thru because duh, it holds up everybody else just wanting to feed a person or two with simple orders!). Two people brought the order out to my car, which I do appreciate! They were professional and courteous, no problem there. But someone forgot one item and after my 30 minute drive home, well someone doesn't get to eat because once again, my order was WRONG. My wife and I were passing through last night and decided to go to this location to get dinner for the kids. I almost always go inside because my kids are picky and it's easier for me to order what I want on the machines than shouting into a box. My first problem is that they don't allow you to make your own drinks, they make them for you. Generally not a problem, but when it takes them 20 minutes to make your order, they're pretty watered down by the time you get them. They had like 12 employees milling about and only like 5 cars in the drive through line and 3 customers inside, but it took 20 minutes to make two happy meals and a chicken sandwich meal, really? The topper of my experience was standing behind the coffee/ice cream machine waiting on my order while hearing an employee proudly telling a story to another employee of how she responded "we don't want you as a customer anyway" in response to a customer that was complaining about their ineptness and threatened not to ever come back. Gonna up my review by 1 Star. I ate breakfast here every day for about 3 months after getting flooded. With the upgrades to the store it's got a nice facelift. Staff is always nice. Food comes quickly. I never had drive through so I can't comment on what appears to be issues there. Posting photos of the new inside. Kids playground has a new smaller play area. But they've added some cool tables and a overhead video game projector thingy. Inside they have ordering stations so you don't have to wait in line. And with the mobile app you can have your food ready when you get there. read more

Since I work out across the way at the 24 hr fitness, I'd feel pretty guilty hitting up Mickey D's before or after a workout, but Christmas Eve shopping at Palais Royal so happened to bless me with a coupon for a free McCafe hot chocolate (I actually grabbed two--they were just sitting there)! Since Houston weather doesn't disappoint in changing from cold to hot in 100 nano seconds, I needed something to keep my Christmas spirits bright. Free hot chocolate seemed to be the ticket. Christmas Eve shopping early in the morning leaves one hungry because there was a line building in the two lane drive thru. Unfortunate, McDonald's has not perfected (or cannot steal) Chick-fil-A's dual drive thru genius. They trully have two drive thru lanes--this McDonald's had two ordering intercoms, BUT you have to maneuver your vehicle back into one lane to pay and get your order. I think someone had a brain fart when they thunk the two drive thru stall idea up. In any case, the line still moved pretty fast, although I was easily confused by the multitasking crew member blurting out a total that was not mine and making me think they had the wrong order or were overcharging me. All well that end's well--they took my coupon, I got my white chocolate cocoa (which tasted REALLY good with the cream on top), and headed to the gym charged with a free caffeine boost. If it was lunch time, I would avoid the drive thru here and either go somewhere else or park and go inside. From previous observation, this McD's always has a packed drive thru and I came around 9 am. Can you imagine the lunch crowd???? One plus is drive thru ice: ; 8 lb bag of ice $1. Price beats the 99 cent only store down the street which sells 7lbs for "99 cents" (you know their items do not cost 99 cent anymore right)? Plus, you don't have to get our your car for the ice. #Bonus and #Score Bottom line: Go here when you're not in a hurry. read more

This McDonald's has always been great, and had great service. However they recently have had an awesome makeover with the cool kiosks and everything. I like using the Kiosk because it makes it so much easier to customize with kids and without having difficulty at counter when you request it and waste other customers time. However when you use the kiosk the employees get angry and give you like looks, then when they bring out your food, get even madder if something requested is wrong.
