I had a hard time choosing because everything looked delicious, so we will definitely be back to try the avacado toast, omelettes and more. I had the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a fluffy biscuit that was absolutely perfect. The side of potatoes was so flavorful that I didn't need any condiments. The mimosas were excellent-- we had the cinnamon and pear craft mimosa but I think next time I'll get a flight of mimosas so we can try several flavor combinations. Our server was super sweet and thanked us for our patience since we had waited quite a while for a table, but it was honestly worth the wait because we enjoyed our brunch very much. They will be opening another location in Atascocita soon and I'll be watching for it!

When I went there, I had to pick 3 different menu options because they simply just didn't have them in the store. No avocados, no yogurt, no steak, etc, before I was finally able to get something. The service was also a little disorganized. The salmon Benedict I got was really great! Though the sides were not very good. The salady bits seemed a bit old. The potatoes had a strange consistency to them.

This was kind of later in the day so it wasn't going to be a coffee visit, but I did go with a donut. Girl working was super sweet, and of course the donut I wanted was out of stock. I went with a boston cream, and I paid at the one window, then walked to my right to the other window to pick this up. Only downfall was that they put this in a baggie similar to what Starbucks uses so the icing on the top was pretty much stuck within that bag so I did what I could. Considering I'm not the biggest donut fan anymore (I swear this is a side effect of getting older), this was pretty good for what it was, and I'm happy I was finally able to try Tim Horton's.

The entire restaurant is decorated with old-school totems & signs that make you travel back in time. It is homey and whimsically designed--anyone would appreciate this. The cornbread reminds me of a version of the intoxicating rolls from Texas Roadhouse (BUT this cornbread is better) it is served with a cinnamon & regular butter. I always order a new item when I return, and this time the Philly cheesesteak was the main character. It was meaty and scrumptious & the onion rings added a nice touch. Servers here feel like family and who doesn't love that! Also please try the root beer or creme soda they are crafted by themselves!! Food: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 1000/10

Absolutely awful. I ordered the deluxe country breakfast and my husband just ordered sausage gravy…read moreand biscuits. Preface, everyone seemed in a terrible mood upon walking in. I haven't been to Humble city cafe in years and am so disappointed in how much it's changed. They claim home made biscuits and gravy, that is a complete lie. Those of us who make home made biscuits and sausage gravy can tell the difference. The gravy didn't have any flavor and the sausage was a sausage patty the threw on the grill, cooked and chopped into huge pieces and tossed into the gravy. The only thing that may have been home made was the pancakes. My chicken fried steak was literally almost nothing but fried breading. Paper thin steak to the point we literally couldn't taste meat and it disentegrated into tiny little crumb sized pieces when cut into. I ordered my eggs fried over medium-hard, yolk came spilling out when I began cutting into them. The country potatoes are frozen, not home made at all. The waitress seemed shocked that I wasn't happy with the chicken fried steak and begrudgingly took it back. I didn't bother mentioning the eggs or potatoes. I took maybe 5 bites of the entire meal. I took my losses, paid my bill and left. We went home and made our own breakfast. This is not the same food, atmosphere, or friendliness we had become accustomed to in the past and this is why so many small businesses end up falling. Kids or grand kids take over and try to take the easy and lazy way out, at the expense of the restaurants reputation and viability. What a shame.

I ordered my same order as before and had a completely different type of time. Felt like a regular with some of the casual small talk with the ladies who work there. The manager was on his way out for the day, but saw him interacting with the crew and you can just tell, these folks like working together. I got to meet him, Alex, was a cool guy with an ever cooler take on what I should order next time. It's a lot of food! A lot a lot. It was a diner kinda day. Exactly what I ordered.

Type of cuisine: American diner style options. Ambiance: Plastic everything. The space is yellowed with lighting and very reminiscent of 1980s fast food dining. Sticky booths welcomed us as we took our seats and were offered menus tableside to place our orders Our server even did magic tricks for us! What I ordered: Texas Bacon, Egg & Cheese Melt with Three Slices of Smithfield® Bacon, One Egg and Two Slices of Melted American Cheese served on Texas Toast and a side of Bert's Chili, Texas Sausage, Egg & Cheese Melt - Two Jimmy Dean® Sausage Patties, One Egg and Two Slices of Melted American Cheese served on Texas Toast with a side of Bert's Chili, and a side of hash browns and sauteed vegetables. What I loved: The Texas toast was fun and greasy and just what you'd want for a late-night meal after a day of travel. The veggies and hash browns were tasty and simple, buttery and good. Why I loved it: The magic tricks and friendliness of our server truly made our visit. Cost: Low to Average

I ordered the breakfast meal (eggs, hash browns, toast) and a regular waffle. The food itself was decent! The toast had just the right amount of butter, and the hash browns were good. The waffle was cooked just right. In retrospect, I think I should have gotten a topping for the waffle. Overall, the portion sizes were generous and food was reasonably priced. It was definitely a great value.
