This young guy took my order and then came back over and told me that the cook was currently indisposed, doing an interview with someone who wants to work, so it might be 5 or 10 minutes before he can start cooking. He asked if that was OK. I was baffled and told him that we'll see. Luckily, it only took about three minutes until my food was cooking. The area is a little "sus," but it's close to my new job and I felt like waffles. I ordered the Patty Melt Hashbrown Bowl (which consists of Large Hashbrowns, Two Slices of Melted American Cheese; Angus Beef & Grilled Onions) and one of their waffles. The bowl was hearty, although I belive that they could use a cheese that melts and not merely clump up. I had to do a bit of mixing to get it to play well with the hashbrowns. The waffle wasn't your typical waffle, as it had the restaurant name on it and it was rather thin. I've been back three times, in two weeks, and have tried the Cheesesteak Hashbrown Bowl, as well as the Texas Cheesesteak Melt. They were also pretty filling and tasted good. This will be my "go to" spot when I can't make it up to I-45's larger restaurants. read more

I'm a frequent customer at this location, but I think that this will be my last time. I order the All Star breakfast that suppose to include a waffle. After 15 minutes of eating my meal, the waitress walks over and ask me was everything okay. I explained to her that I was stilling waiting on my waffle. She said let me get you one, I told her that was okay, so she took a dollar off. The staff was to busy standing around talking to each other than focusing on the customers. Now this review would probably surprise most of my friends simply because I have always HATED Waffle House and that was because of one bad experience. I decided to give it a second try after going to an event with my friends, and really enjoyed this location. The waiter was so nice and seriously went out of his way to make sure that everything was to perfection. He even explained the menu items and he accommodated one of my friends who eats there often. I'm a regular here, the staff is always great and friendly no matter which shift you come eat and the food is always good as well. I always tip the cook and server for a great experience. Mostly great reviews because this place is great anytime day or night. I usually go between 2-8am which is sketchy hours but I feel safe at this WH unlike the 1960/45 location. Never go to that location unless you want to be robbed. Had to take 2 stars away. I get the same thing almost every morning but the prices varies $3-$5 depending on who writes it up. The cooks are great and food is fine but when my usual $10 breakfasts is $13-16 one morning then $10 again the next it's time for me to find a new breakfast spot. Maybe the prices are just cheaper after 7am and they raise them up for the drunk bar crowd. I had 3 lines of charges and the server just said "that's what it always is". I usually come early in the mornings around 6am and always get amazing service. I came today around 3:30pm and had the WORST SERVICE EVER. Only 1 cook and 2 servers. A server named Zavier made us wait over 20 minutes until we had to ask for our menus, which he saw us walk inside and never said a word to us. When he gave us the silverware he slammed it onto the table. I ordered an orange juice and got ice inside of it, I also ordered a sweet tea to which I was given unsweet tea.
