My husband, grown son and I had lunch after church at this Saltgrass location. The restaurant is always clean, and the servers provide good service at all of our visits. However, today was extra special. Today, Joseph was our server. He was probably the best server I have ever had (and we go out to eat quite often). He was SUPER attentive in a great way. I told my family he makes me feel as if we were his only table. He offered great suggestions for enhancing our meal with grilled onions/mushrooms. He shared that both are cooked in their house made garlic butter. I am a Landry's Select member and that has never been served with us before. He also offered great information and suggestions for dessert. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Keep the great work up Joseph! read more

I believe our servers name was Saul... I made it clear that I wanted the whole bill taken care of with my Landrys select club card. I was somewhat sure that we had enough money on it. He gave me the bill and told me "this was the remaining balance" so I believed him and paid the rest. Check my account today, and I had enough to take care of the whole bill the whole time. So he basically lied to us about what the balance was on my select card because I'm sure he wanted to get tipped on $105. Normally I tip on the whole original amount before the select card deduction on a penny charge afterwards. But the fact that this guy straight up lied to us is just scam behavior. read more

We sat in the bar section to get the happy hr prices. The server was extremely nice and even the bartender also came to check on us for refills on drinks. The queso was great. I wouldn't recommend the chopped steak it was the greatest but the 16 oz steak was good. Brussel sprouts were great as well. The place itself wasn't busy at all. read more

Stopped by here today on my hour lunch to have potato soup. Was greeted by young girl at the bar that took my drink order and brought my drink. Then things went to hell evidently- she got caught up in slicing limes and for next 16 min never once came back to take my order- so screw it- I left- Went and had gumbo and within 5 min had ordered and received my meal . When here to dinner with my friend, and the place is really nice and big and clean. The employees were really friendly towards us and quick with our service and always on checking on how we were. Every time we ate. I would only complain that the food is good with the mix of way too sweet or two bland or way salty. And the prices are pretty expensive. I would say this restaurant should be for people who can't afford dinner, which is the reason. I barely come here, but I will come here every now, and then, whenever someone invites me and has the money for it read more

My husband and I had lunch at Saltgrass Steakhouse on I45 Northfreeway. From the hostess to our waitress we received GREAT! Customer service!!! Everyone was so polite, the manager checked on us asking how was everything which I loved. I love great customer service, it's really big in my book. Horrible experience. Long wait for meal, recieved it and it was cold, Manager offered to reheat it in the microwave. I declined and requested hot food. We dined here today and were completely blown away--not just by the delicious food, but by the exceptional service which is such a rare thing today. Our server, Drew, was the perfect combination of professional, personable, and attentive. He did not miss a beat! It's rare to find someone so naturally gifted in hospitality and he truly elevated our experience. And then there's Jacques, the manager, whose presence and leadership are clearly felt throughout the entire restaurant. He held the door open for us and checked in on our table personally with genuine warmth and care. You can tell he takes great pride in ensuring every guest has a top notch experience, and it shows in every detail. We'll be talking about this experience for a long time and can't wait to come back. First time ever dining here. Comfortable, country aesthetic atmosphere and great seating options. The workers were great, and our Server, Mack, was absolutely amazing. Took the time to explain the menu options and definitely had the menu memorized. He helped me pick their Parmesan fries as a side to the Brisket burger. Both of them were absolutely delicious, just like he suggested. The bread they serve is crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside, and the whipped sweet butter is phenomenal. My only true suggestion for the entire store/menu would be to add the option of the barbeque sauce (which is so good) to the ribs. All in all, food and ambiance is amazing. We had a great night at the Beaumont Saltgrass! The appetizer tenderloin bites were incredible! But the best part was our wonderful server, Jackie! She was super sweet and attentive. The food was delicious, I had the grilled pork chop and mashed potatoes, the pork chop was juicy and tender, the mashed potatoes were well seasoned. From the time we walked in for lunch, everyone was attentive. Mack was tending to another table l, but another server helped him out. Happy birthday to me...not. My steak was cooked extremely well done and cool. I ordered medium. I couldn't cut through the black crust - it was burnt and cool - not fresh and hot. The service was horrible. The waitress did the best she could but she was spread too thin. The manager never checked up on us even though we are loyalty members. We won't be back. Food was mediocre and overpriced for the bad preparation. I can see why it wasn't busy like it used to be. Too bad. read more

We love saltgrass and this location! We were seated with Matthew this evening and his service was excellent! He was attentive, polite and just a pleasure to speak with. Food was brought out in perfect order to enjoy appetizers, salads and then the meal. He recommended drink from the bar and flavored lemonades as an upsell. stopped in for my birthday 7/24/25. at5:30pm. Place was very slow, but, filling up. My wife and I ordered dinner Me: pats ribeye, Broccoli side salad. the wife: Wedge salad & Baked potato w/ butter & cheese only. Upon coming to the table all looked good, However, a baked potato should be hot hot should see steam coming off it. it was so warm that the butter would even melt. Called over the waitress, she brought another, more of the same. I asked for the Broccoli to be well cooked for the stems to be soft. The stems were soft but the flower part was very tough. I cannot figure how that happened. i have to admit Salt grass can cook a steak. it was very tasty and cooked to my liking. Service was good. But, if the wife's not happy. it off our dining List. Had dinner tonight at the Saltgrass on the Katy Freeway. We ordered the prime rib. It was a horrible cut of meat. It was fat and tough. One of the worst prime ribs I've ever eaten. When I complained to the management, they did not seem to really care. read more

I ordered food from this Restaurant on 12-3-25 for Dinner for 3 . I spent 116.47. Door Dash delivered the food. This was the worst food we ate. The food was over cooked, asparagus cooked soft, food cold and not edible. I called Andrew on Today to report my experience. He told me I had to contact DoorDash instead of making things right. A great place to get a reasonable lunch up to 6pm. We like it when we can get Saul to wait on us! Music can get a little loud after 5 but it's OK most of the time. Management is very responsive if there is a complaint! We come here often! read more

If you are seeking a place where you will wait 20 minutes before you're offered a drink then by all means this is the place to be. My son and I were seated at approx 6:22pm. I know this because he asked about the lunch menu and I told him it was too late and it's the weekend. The manager would walk around but kept his back turned on our section. We were offered drinks and 6:38 by 6:45 a waiter who never acknowledged us came to my table saying sorry for the wait. Are you kidding me? I went there for my BD 12/13/2025. My food was horrible. I was expecting a sizzling steak but got a microwaved Luke warmed piece of meat with burnt brussle sprouts Luke warm too. Will never go back it was terrible. Gave it to my dog that's how horrible it was. read more

HATE leaving negative reviews. (This may actually be the 1st negative one I've ever done) Ordered steaks, in addition to apps- steaks were long in coming (around 1 hour?). When mine finally arrived it was WAY overcooked- I don't like complaining, but couldn't eat it. I apologized and asked for another steak. What they seved next was a defunct "ribeye"- it would NEVER normally be served in a steakhouse- it looked like the tail end that was tapered down very thinly on the one end- really pathetic. It was WAY oveseasoned...NOT worth the over $150 meal for 2. ??? Was this intentionally done out of spite for my returning my overcooked steak? I do not know...but there is NO WAY a Steakhouse would actually serve that...when I say "scruffy piece of meat WAY overseasoned", I am not exaggerating at all. It was embarrassing. And highly unprofessional. I had apologized profusely for them having to cook another steak, taking extra time & effort, etc.- really sad. REALLY DISAPPOINTING. read more
