My wife and I went here on a whim on a Saturday night. To be clear, we went to the new location, Blazin Kajun North which is across the street while the old location is being renovated. The venue itself is beautiful!! You could tell a lot of thought went into the design. The staff was very nice and accommodating..we had Jamiyah as a waitress, and she was great!!! She took care of us and we had a great convo about TV shows lol. We had the salmon bites which was an 8/10, but the best thing about the experience was the Bussin Bowl which was SO GOOD.. 10000000/10! No kidding the best thing I have had in a long time! You can't go wrong with that! I also had a honey Hennessy drink that was 10/10. The Hookah was also good. Overall I would recommend this place!! Do not waste your gas or money going to this place. Anytime you go somewhere and they say No refunds you know it's a trash spot. I ordered calamari and they were so salty that you couldn't eat them. I asked for them to be removed from my ticket and was told no refund. Mind you, I spent over 200 bucks at this establishment. I will never return. The food was great from the Lobster box to the Crawfish Poboy was 10 out of 10 for sure from the presentation to the taste.... The fried pickles are overrated - thin and really greasy so I wouldn't get those again. The drinks were super weak... I got the Henny and honey lemon drop which has a good taste to it but not worth $18 for sure. The frozen drink water down and taste like Kool-Aid wasn't strong at all. I attended an event at this establishment with high hopes. My sister ordered the red beans and rice. When the food arrived, it smelled of rotten, like spoiled, dead rat meat. After speaking with the manager, my sister was told that she would not be compensated in any shape, form or fashion. She was not offered another item nor a refund. Even after the manager, waitress, cook and another worker smelled the dish, the manager still insisted that my sister pay for it. After the bill was paid for, the manager called a police officer and lied stating that she was being disruptive and wanted her removed. The officer took her outside and realized that she had been lied to and offered my sister to re-enter without any issues. At this point, my sister refused and left. After the one or two bites taken initially , she threw up and was sick from the bowl of dead spoiled rat meat and rice dish! The manager would not even attempt to be accommodated over a smelly, spoiled, rotten bowl of beans and rice. Instead, she brought out receipts stating that the meat was purchased that morning and used at 10:00pm and it wasn't spoiled. However, no one wanted to taste it. The food and drinks are over priced, the drinks are weak, the food is horrible and the manager has no customer service skills at all. So here we go the outside of this place has trash everywhere, we sat down ordered crawfish 3lbs when waitress finally came back to table wanted to chnge from 3lbs to 5lbs i asked had the order been placed yet...quote: oh no the order doesnt go in until paid for, MAM....what patrons are frequenting your establishment...I AM NOT USE TO THIS, OK now onto the drinks we ordered.....a liquid marijuana (ok), my drink was delivered 20minutes later (they are not busy at all) , lemon drop and guess what my lemon drop still had ALL THE SEEDS IN IT....WOW...NEVERHAVE I EXPERIENCED THIS, FIRST AND LAST TIME TO THIS PLACE........BECAUSE SOMEONE PRAISED THIS ESTABLISHMENT....YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS IN AN ESTABLISHMENT, AND THEOSE THAT FREQUENT THIS PLACE IS .....WELL IMMA LET IT SLIDE. read more

I enjoyed the atmosphere of Blazin Kajun. I went for crawfish and was not disappointed in the flavor. Worthy of mentioning, THE CORN. Best corn I've had, ever. It's the beginning of crawfish season but at least 1/3 of my crawfish were not edible. Maybe supplier issues? It's my third time eating crawfish this season and I haven't had this issue with elsewhere. Also worth mentioning: The Service. Absolutely horrible. They were not busy and the bar was empty. Had to ask for our drinks several times, no refills, and spent majority of the time looking for our waitress. This is the beginning of crawfish season and I really believe if they can't get this fixed your visit will be horrid. I was only able to get 2lbs and one refill on a sweet tea in the 2 hours I was there. No one asked if I wanted more, and my butter never came out. Service was below bare minimum. I have been going here since they had the first building across the street. I went this past weekend.... And got the worse customer service. THE OWNER had a nasty disposition, it was food and beer from previous customers just sitting around..I asked for potatoes to be added to my meal, when the owner brought my food I specifically asked her was there potatoes included she states yes... get home nothing. Mind you they charged me for the potatoes... I didn't make a fuss because I was thinking to myself, I won't be back. I am a person who values my dollars. BUT HERE IS WHAT DROVE ME TO WRITE THIS REVIEW! They charged me for my food, I left the owner a 1.00 tip... which really wasn't deserved! But why I check my bank statements and these people have added an additional unauthorized tip to my purchase! See below. As you can see on the receipt they gave me, the total with using a card comes to $46.68 which once again I did pay with a card, so that plus my funky $1.00 tip only comes to 47.68 why I check my statement and they charge me for $50.68.... Yeah Blazin Cajun WONT ever see me again! I hate a thief and there is no telling how many people they do this to who don't notice. My family and I have visited a few times now, and Blazin Cajun definitely hits the mark for delicious food and excellent service. We've tried the shrimp po'boy, gumbo, Gumbo Greens, red beans and rice with jalapeño cornbread, shrimp pasta, and crab fingers. All were delicious and prepared fresh. Portions were quite large, and the spice levels were on point. The slushies are amazing, and the "grown-up" drinks pack a punch. Prices are in the mid-range, but when you taste the quality, it makes sense. The owners and staff are always welcoming when we come in, and Triston is a delightful host/server. The little things matter when it comes to service, and these folks take it seriously. I highly recommend Blazin Cajun for fantastic food and a chill, enjoyable experience. read more

If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. We were seated and it took our server for ever to come and acknowledge us (mind you it was about 10 people in the restaurant). We decided to come here based off of social media and the food looks nothing compared to the photos or videos. The crawfish had a fishy taste and the crawfish juice looked and smelled like dirty water. The boudin egg rolls were seemingly fried in old oil and they were empty pretty much. I Went to visit this place and once I got there I felt like I should have turned around. I had to ask a waitress where to sit because no one greeted me. The music was so loud for it to be 6:30 pm in the evening. My friend ordered crawfish and I ordered a shrimp poboy. She got her food and I waited for a hour and a half and no food for me. I asked my waitress and she kept telling me they was backed up in the kitchen. I noticed people that came after me already had been served. I asked my waitress for a refund. She disappeared and never came back to the table. I asked a gentleman for help and he brought me my food in 15 minutes. And he apologized. Our waitress Ms. Faness was amazing. I was with 4 friends and we were already feeling good but Ms. Faness took us higher. Everything suggestion she made was on point. I had Mardi Gras pasta which came out about 45 mins after my friend got her food. My pasta was $35 for some BITS of crawfish, shrimp, and sausage. Literally chopped bits. They can't be charging Pappadeaux prices for a "spot" on 1960.
