Filthy floor ... this was after they took the bag of trash out finally.

I was wanting a waffle and didn't want to drive to Fort Worth for IHOP. When I walked in I noticed every counter top was dirty and had dirty dishes on it. I went to the far side and sat down and waitress cleaned off counter (well wiped it off anyway-wasn't very clean). My knife was dirty so I asked for another one which I got. Then I looked into the food prep area and the floor was filthy. Big trash bag sitting in middle of the floor and floor was disgusting. Waitress almost tripped over the trash bag. There was plenty of opportunity for someone to take 2 minutes to sweep the floor. Even the cook stopped and said "it looks like a bomb went off in here" and kept on moving. Service was good, staff was awesome, and food was good (except I had to send back my waffle because it wasn't cooked all the way). More attention needs to be paid to cleanliness.

My best friends visited and we had a great Fort Worth weekend. We wanted to avoid dressing up or eating a fancy brunch when Sunday rolled around. They were curious about Benbrook and just wanted a no-frills breakfast with the locals. Waffle House was the best choice. For one, the menu offers a variety of options, but it's a small menu, just the classics. We chose the classic eggs, toast, and grits breakfast. What sets this Waffle House apart is the staff's quality service, polite guests, and great music from the jukebox in the corner. When we arrived at 9 AM, Hozier's Take Me To Church was on, and by the time we left, the staff DJs had run through Anita Baker, Queen, and The Commodores. Fortunately, our bill came when the kid in the corner played Barbie Girl. There is ample parking at The Waffle House, but the restaurant is small, so when you get there, sit down at one of the stools and wait for the staff to greet you and put you on the list. Expect a 30-minute wait on Sunday morning.

Ham with soft scrambled eggs, double hash browns, toast and coffee. $10.50 including tax.

Wanted breakfast for dinner but didn't want to cook so I opted for WH. I had not been to any location for over twenty years. Hoping it would be as good as remembered, I was not disappointed. They currently have a limited menu so I couldn't get the country ham. I did get the two egg breakfast, eggs soft scrambled, with ham and double hash browns. The eggs were cooked perfectly, ham was smokey and sweet, hash browns were crispy outside and soft inside. Their coffee is great. Service was excellent. Julie and Cat do a great job of working together and treating their customers with courtesy and kindness. I'll be back and it won't be twenty years.

I've had to cut back on my visits, due to the lack of healthy options. That said, great please for a short order breakfast (no fruit!). The food is cooked on point 99/100 times. The service is usually spot on classic, southern Waffle House courteous attitude. I've had a couple situations were a waitress made it clear her social time with co- workers is more important then her tip. This Waffle House is above average.

Y'all know what it is...Waffle House. Open 24/7 the true truck stop breakfast place. Don't come if you want a amazing environment. This place isn't that clean...it's almost like they know and don't care. It's pretty small and they fail to keep it clean. This is where I come when I don't want to get ready. When I'm hung over and need a quick cheap breakfast. I don't expect much...however the food is always pretty good.

    Classic blueberry waffle! #wafflehouse @wafflehouse

Upon opening the restaurant early in the day you are offered their brunch menu. They have a lunch menu you just need to ask for it. The brunch and lunch menus didn't offer any type of appetizers, but I wish they would have the food service took quite a minute to have our meals brought to our table. I ordered the salmon Benedict's and my husband ordered a cheeseburger. We were quite perplexed on their sides. They don't offer french fries with a hamburger or even a bag of chips. Their sides are potatoes au gratin, asparagus, Mac & cheese,if they have it, and mushrooms. We were also quite surprised at the exact location of this restaurant. It's tucked away on a small street of a camp Bowie in a strip shopping center. We found the food to be very good, but it'd be nice to have appetizers on every menu and it would be nice if you could have french fries to go with a cheeseburger. I'm sharing pictures of the menu for the brunch and lunch. The dinner menu has more options.

Very upscale area so the inside is upscale PRICE: ~$70 I think WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! **** Overall Rating: 9/10 - I was surprised by how fancy this place was (it is in the Clearfork shopping area which is known as a bougie shopping center so not super surprised). - The biscuits were so so good I wish that I took a picture of them but I recommend those for sure! The fried chicken and kale salad complemented each other so well I highly recommend as well. - The deviled eggs were good but they are just basic so you can skip those (unless if you were craving it). - The pimento cheese was very good too it was packed with flavor. I wish it came with more bread but I'm assuming we could've asked for more. - A little pricier than you would think but honestly this place had so much flavor I'm not gonna continue to complain about that lol.

We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The cinnamon roll, which may look a bit underwhelming had a such a great crispy texture on the outside while still being fluffy on the inside. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.

First Watch is incredibly busy on the weekend, so this step is critical if you don't want to wait for a long time. The menu is varied and there is a good selection to appeal to everyone in your party. I got the traditional breakfast which was plenty of food. While the food was fine, the service fell flat. After taking our order, we didn't see our server until she brought the check. I'm sure she was busy, but a check-in or two would have been nice to avoid having to flag her down from across the room to get refills or jam. The restaurant itself was pretty clean with a nice waiting area outside, but the restrooms needed a little attention. I would visit again, but First Watch wouldn't be my first choice. It just felt too rushed and inhospitable compared to other brunch places in the area.
