I never knew how big Waffle House was in the south. It's crazy that we don't have any in Michigan...but honestly we don't need it. The food is just OK...I definitely prefer Coney Island style breakfasts instead. I do recommend THIS Waffle House though, the staff is super friendly and even though they were packed the service was quick. The steak & cheese hash browns were pretty good, I wasn't really sold on anything else...

Toast came dry. Butter didn't melt.

Food is poorly made. Looks nothing looks as expected or as prepared as other locations. Quite tragic. The staff is overall friendly.

All the Henry's like the Waffle House. Delicious waffles, hash browns made to order, and new cheese steak sandwiches that the 3 Henry's enjoyed. Just straight up good food!

Sometimes you wake up craving crunchy, crispy hashbrowns with mushrooms and onions and Waffle House is the only thing to cure you're desires. This is where I found myself and made my way to breakfast at lunch time. Breakfast was better than I expected. The service was good. I especially like the booths that are right next to kitchen so you can see all of what's going on and also the server can easily reach over and serve you while in the kitchen without going around. It adds to the fun diner feel. Also it's kinda fun how the server calls out the order to the cook using slag shown on the menu. Menus were sticky bunt the bathrooms and restaurant area was clean. Good prices and it's exactly what I wanted out of a diner, quick, easy good food, good service.

    This was delicious!

Great Waffle House. It's probably the cleanest I've ever seen and the staff is friendly and service is super quick. The food is consistently delicious and the environment is friendly. It looks like it must be a nice place to work because over the past few years of going here, I recognize many of the same hosts and servers. It is located almost walking distance from Biltmore Park, so a great option if you're staying in one of the nearby hotels! We come here frequently.

He placed the plates in front of us randomly and when we asked what the plates were, he didn't answer. Not sure if he didn't know what they were or didn't hear us, but it happened multiple times and he would just randomly put the plates down in front of us without announcing what it was or ask who ordered what. We had to do musical chairs with the plates which felt really odd to be blatantly ignored. The Broken Yolk Sandwich was not what I was expecting. The egg was not runny despite the asterisk warning for consuming raw foods and its name. The sandwich felt heavy, especially with the mayo making it feel greasy. The avocado toast on the other hand was delightful. The two poached eggs on top had the perfect yolk that literally dripped down your hand and bread. The restaurant was very pet friendly. There were patrons with pets in the dining area. It felt like a nice family friendly place.

Overall, this place knows how to provide a good brunch.

I love the juicy bacon, eggs, pimento cheese and gravy smothered on top of the biscuit! Truly delicious!! Staff were friendly, they brought the food to my table. During busy times they stop taking orders if there is no seating available. We were able to wait at the register (tapping our feet, watching for a departure) until someone got up to leave and then we could order, but the experience was weird. Like- can we eat here or not? Other guests behind us in the queue left. My biscuit arrived cold. Not sure if that was how it was supposed to be. They have a jam station with butter as well. You put those yummies in a little cup and bring it back to your table. Only problem is that the butter was hard as a rock- didn't work when you have a cold biscuit. Dishes around us looked tasty but as a purist, I found the texture, flavor, and temperature of the biscuit to be pretty meh. Energy at the place is good. Despite the seating thing at the beginning, I didn't feel pressure to leave while we sat at our table and enjoyed our coffee. Would go back but might order something to jazz up the biscuit and will watch our time of arrival given that it can get busy.

We started with the fried green tomatoes -- and I can confidently say they were the best I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and served over the most delicious, creamy grits that I'm still thinking about. That combination alone is worth the visit. For my entrée, I went with the fried chicken, paired with mac and cheese and bacon green beans. The chicken was golden, crispy, and juicy with so much flavor in every bite. The mac and cheese was rich and comforting, and the bacon green beans added the perfect savory balance to the plate. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and full of that true Southern flavor you hope for when dining in Asheville. Generous portions, bold flavors, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely come back again -- and honestly, I'm already looking forward to ordering those fried green tomatoes again.

Biltmore Village is pretty sleepy so didn't see many other options to eat besides this, but it was pretty good. We had a 7:30pm Sunday reservation and asked if we could sit on the patio since it was a gorgeous night. We had to wait about 5-10 min for a patio table, but no biggie. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive. And the food came out pretty fast as well. After ordering some wine we started with a cup of gazpacho. My husband really liked it, but i found it a little spicy. However, I really enjoyed the rest of our meal which was a meat and cheese app and pecan crusted trout. My husband and I split both and cleaned our plates. While dessert was tempting we had eaten a lot of candy on our drive to Asheville so decided to skip it. Overall, it was a nice first casual meal and we didn't even have to get dressed up which was nice after a long car ride. It looks like they have a great brunch too so we may be back this week to check it out!
