    Capped & Smothered ? I think? Lol

I never knew how big Waffle House was in the south. It's crazy that we don't have any in Michigan...but honestly we don't need it. The food is just OK...I definitely prefer Coney Island style breakfasts instead. I do recommend THIS Waffle House though, the staff is super friendly and even though they were packed the service was quick. The steak & cheese hash browns were pretty good, I wasn't really sold on anything else...

Toast came dry. Butter didn't melt.

Food is poorly made. Looks nothing looks as expected or as prepared as other locations. Quite tragic. The staff is overall friendly.

All the Henry's like the Waffle House. Delicious waffles, hash browns made to order, and new cheese steak sandwiches that the 3 Henry's enjoyed. Just straight up good food!

Sometimes you wake up craving crunchy, crispy hashbrowns with mushrooms and onions and Waffle House is the only thing to cure you're desires. This is where I found myself and made my way to breakfast at lunch time. Breakfast was better than I expected. The service was good. I especially like the booths that are right next to kitchen so you can see all of what's going on and also the server can easily reach over and serve you while in the kitchen without going around. It adds to the fun diner feel. Also it's kinda fun how the server calls out the order to the cook using slag shown on the menu. Menus were sticky bunt the bathrooms and restaurant area was clean. Good prices and it's exactly what I wanted out of a diner, quick, easy good food, good service.

    This was delicious!

Great Waffle House. It's probably the cleanest I've ever seen and the staff is friendly and service is super quick. The food is consistently delicious and the environment is friendly. It looks like it must be a nice place to work because over the past few years of going here, I recognize many of the same hosts and servers. It is located almost walking distance from Biltmore Park, so a great option if you're staying in one of the nearby hotels! We come here frequently.

Very fancy dining spot that's great for birthdays or dates!…read more Quick seating for our group of 6 on a Sunday night. The restaurant was very dark, tables being lighted by a single light atop and a candle. Not my favorite setup but I guess it's for the romance? The menu was pretty small, mostly seafood and the occasional burger. Higher prices than an Applebees but you're also paying for better quality food "fresh never frozen" I got the slow roasted chicken over smashed potatoes, it was humongous, like they plated me the whole bird! The sauce was delicious, as were the potatoes. My plate came to $30 Our server Johnny (?) was great! VERY informed on the menu, read us off a whole list of specials that aren't listed on their main menu. Gave us great recommendations, checked on us a lot, loved empty plates out of the way when needed, and was keeping our waters filled! Thank you Johnny!

Honestly, as many people in Asheville know, it's hard to find truly great restaurants here. This…read moreplace is definitely better than many local spots, and while it's not on the level of restaurants you'd find in places like New York or Boston, I'm still glad we have it here. The service was friendly and professional, the atmosphere was nice overall, although the inside felt a little too dark for my taste. Prices are above average, so I was hoping for something a bit more unique on the menu, but most dishes felt fairly standard. Still, the food quality was solid, and overall it was a good experience.

Outstanding meal…read more Admittedly, this was a drive for us from up at Autocamp as we visited the area, but this location had reservation availability and the original location did not. I'm hard-pressed to think that the original would outplay its progeny at least on that evening. We're quite keen to recreate the Kale Salad at home, as this has to rank as my second favorite of all time (Sis-in-law still reigns). Paired with the roasted beet salad (beet tempura, roasted beet, champagne vinegar, Three Graces bondon, candied cashew), it was quite a starting match. All of this was coupled with a delish NA sparkling rose (1 of 2 options), which was a nice touch as too many places are in gap mode when it comes to NA sparkling or wines. The fish special is pan-seared (it was grouper that evening) and it completely won the night. Paired with a good helping of asparagus with fennel puree and a radish salad, it hit the spot. Our other choice was the Ricotta Gnocchi com lobster. Twas rich, that's for sure, and it would have been work to eat all of it, but all the flavors worked well together. Dessert was a true treat: Pistachio Cake coupled with light as air mascarpone over a splendid compote of strawberries. We smartly only ordered one for the two of us, as we'd have massacred a second one before the authorities would have been able to stop us. The service team is plentiful: we counted six different people came and served or supported us. Not sure if that's Asheville-style full employment or we just seemed like people who needed a lot of help, but we got to the point we needed to track names on a pad of paper.

The staff welcomed us, wished us a happy anniversary, and seated us right away. We were delivered an anniversary card signed by the staff. Lindsey and Samantha took care of us and treated us like royalty. We were blown away. Then we look at the menu. My wife is a little disappointed since she is gluten free, and since there are no items marked "GF", she assumed she would have to order off a separate menu. Not so - Posana is entirely gluten-free! Knowing that, we struggled with what to order (see the first paragraph). Everything was unbelievably delicious, from the lobster gnocchi to the cheesecake to the small plates. In fact, this place was so good, we came back the next morning for brunch! Sadly, we ate our meal so quickly that I didn't get a picture of the fried chicken and biscuit (yes, gluten-free, though it doesn't taste like it) with gravy. i'm not done this place also has a special "dog menu," with items like chicken and rice, that your 4-legged friend can order. Overall, we felt like we were enjoying a 3-star dining experience. I have nothing to offer for improvement, it was incredible. This has made our list of "must-visit" now every time we come to Asheville!
