    GF Toast
    Luca D.

Service and ambiance was as pleasurable as it possibly could have been. I got the Parma Skillet Hash, which is two eggs any style (I chose scrambled) over potatoes, tomatoes, roasted mushrooms, onions, Italian sausage, fresh herbs, and goat cheese instead of the usual mozzarella and Parmesan, alongside GF toast. The toast was kind of soft, but the strawberry jam gave it some sweetness. The flavors of the hash were nothing but phenomenal. Adding the goat cheese was the right call because it gave it a good salt concentrate. The veg was great and the sausage was moist. I would have liked a little more egg to better coat the hash, but still a killer brunch overall. First Watch? More like First Win.

Every meal we have here is delightful. Staff is always friendly, food is quick and fresh, and we always leave with plenty leftover. My favorite has been the chimicurri steak & egg hash. Definitely worth the wait!

This is a very popular spot, but they do have call ahead seating so I highly suggest you take advantage of that service. Nice variety of breakfast/brunch dishes to include Southern staples. The service was good and the food was plentiful amd delicious!

Ordered the BLTE, eggs over easy, no cheese with seasoned potatoes. The egg was over hard, there was no bread, no tomato, no mayo. The bacon was hard and chewy. The potatoes were ice cold and hard. Pretty much nothing I could eat. Don't waste your money.

Chickichanga was a little spicy but amazing!! How do I not get this next time, geez. Served hot & fresh. The eggs benefict was served perfectly with fresh fruit. The egg white wrap was lite but super yummy. It was super busy at 11 am and not enough parking spaces. Everyone wanted to go but noone was upset. Very very enjoyable experience and will definitely go back. Waitress Kerri was awesome!!! Clean place. Light and bright ambiance.

Great food and a great location in Arden. The food is very well prepared everything I've tried. Here is good. They are known for their breakfast, but their lunch combos are incredible. Soups and sandwiches are a great choice and very well prepped with fresh ingredients. The serve staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The service was fast and everything was excellent. The ambience is an upscale warehouse feel! This is a great choice for breakfast lunch and dinner in South Asheville.

Service was well done. It was clean and clean and nice atmosphere. The food was good but a little too expensive. It had a healthy lean. There are vegan options. Give it a try.

Lots of parking and seating! Smells so good in here when you first walk in haha. Got sat down quickly, placed my order and the waitress brought me out my mint mocha iced coffee and some hot syrup to go with my pancakes. While they taste great (if but pretty sweet) I'm eager to come back and try out the breakfast tacos lol

This is an awesome addition to south Ashevilles restaurant selection. Get atmosphere and good food. Great brunch stop or place to grab a nice lunch. The service is excellent and the waiters have always been friendly. Definitely recommend it.

Great service with a smile and wonderful selection of foods! I might add, delicious also

    Burnt biscuits

All of the food was burnt. The pancakes were so burnt it was peel-able, biscuits were so hard it could break a tooth, and the French toast was burnt but they put that side on the bottom to make it look like it was cooked well. We waited an hour on that food. The server seemed like she hated her job and kept disappearing to the kitchen for a while. It was clear the restaurant had too many seats for their lack of kitchen staff and kitchen space. I would've give one but the bacon and manager earned an extra star. We paid 70+ dollars but manager took off some money for compensation so it was clear she was trying.

I ordered a salmon frittata and half of the plate was lettuce with a little bit of tasteless vinaigrette.

I tried to go back this year, and am so appalled by the customer service (or lack thereof) that I will now give it 0 stars, so settled for two since I can't do two and a half. Yes, the food and ambiance were wonderful in 2025. I tried to book another afternoon tea party and called a month and a half in advance. This was to celebrate multiple birthdays with a group of busy moms so wanted to get it on the calendar. No one called me back despite the voicemail saying that we would hear back "promptly." I left two more messages in a span of two, three weeks and still nothing. I even emailed, no response. Finally, a friend stopped by in person and was told that the cafe would be short staffed the weekend we wanted the reservation for so the manager needs to see if there are enough people working before confirming. Okay....but why wouldn't you call back to tell me that? Our requested reservation is tomorrow and I still have not heard back from anyone. This is abysmal customer service. As mentioned, food was good but not good enough to treat potential customers like this. Hard pass from now on and will not go back or recommend. *Editing to respond to Victoria -- those were the dates I called and left voicemails. Perhaps there was a phone issue on your end, but I did not even get a missed call. My friend who stopped by in person spoke to a manager. She had to go by twice due to the manager not being available the first time. I also did not get an email response.

Not only was the decor and aesthetic inviting and so detailed but the food was delicious and the service amazing (Jade). We went all out with cauliflower bisque, two different teas and scones (The Hobbit and The Highlander teas), a blueberry cobbler cheesecake and a limoncello. Every part of the meal was delicious. We absolutely will be back and can't wait to try the other teas. We also were able to take the leftovers for our tea pots and this makes me so excited! So many great bookish references -- it made my nerd heart happy

There is street parking nearby, and this place is always hopping. This place makes me think of a southerner's take on a French bakery. Absolutely gorgeous on the inside with decadent sweets to choose from, while also featuring classics like a Swiss roll or a cream puff. They also offer breakfast/brunch/lunch, as well as made to order cakes. (Their coconut cake is award-winning). We came in recently and got a BLT, chicken salad on croissant (with watermelon salad), quiche, cream puff, lemon Swiss roll, and lattes. The sandwiches were all delicious and this was my first time trying watermelon salad - fresh and perfect to accompany the sandwiches. Their quiches are large and filling - perfect on their own for breakfast. For lattes, we got a vanilla latte, and then their July 4th special, which had strawberry and white chocolate in it - the July 4th specialty latte was decadent - if you like sweet, you should give it a try. All in all, I think we paid $50ish for our meal. This spot is a must if you're in the area!
