My daughter (and I!) loved her biscuits and white gravy, my blueberry pancake was buttery with a perfect crispy cook on it.

Whatever the problem was they didn't mind trying to explain how mad they were and continued the vocal exchange each time they came in and out of the kitchen, the manager 'I assume' was none the wiser to all the commotion going on and kept his head down and continued to seat customers while on his phone. I won't even bring up the obvious mold all over the ceiling. I don't know if I was in an episode of Hell's Kitchen or Kitchen Nightmares, but either way Gordon Ramsey would have been pissed and shut the restaurant down. We have given y'all 3 chances (3 too many) so I guess we are back to looking for a place for local breakfast on weekends. PS- with the price of everything now a day you should be honored the people want to spend their hard earned money with you and not take it for granted.

We have passed this place for the last 5 years. Its been closed or so full, we didn't stop. Sunday…read moreafter church 9:15am, we had our chance. It was packed upon leaving at 10am, so heads up! First time there, we enter and no one to greet you NOR a sign to seat yourself or wait to be seated. We waited only about 6-7 min for someone to tell us to seat yourself. Passed a couple of dirty tables to sit at the window! Don't worry, there are windows views at every single table. There is also bar seating as well. There is a certain charm about a 50's diner chrome everywhere, black and white checkered floor. As we look at the HUGE menu, we watch the HUGE plates of food pass. So, plan on sharing or taking some home. Tables were clean and waitress was friendly enough. Chicken Fried steak, white gravy, eggs over easy, grits and English muffin were all absolutely spectacular! The steak was super tender and crispy! The gravy wasn't over or underseasoned, I added nothing! The entire plate was gone, literally not a crumb onnthe plate left over. The Philly Skillet was also pretty great! Absolutely huge and we took more than half home to have for 2 meals at home. The postoes/fries were super crispy. The onions, peppers and mushrooms were all seasoned very well and nothing was added at all. Would have liked more meat to the ratio of veggies but with all of the veggies and eggs over easy, it worked well. No beef was brought home because there wasn't a lot on the plate. We kept seeing the biscuits pass and we just had to order one. Brought most of it home but just had to taste it. It was huge. Light and fluffy, not heavy or overdone. Would have went well with the white gravy- note for future visits. Overall 5/5! Would go back. Would like to see t he place get a deep cleaning and paint touch ups and maybe required for the wait staff to have their hair up or fixed. Several looked like they just rolled out of bed and slept with their animals. Will have to go for lunch! Bring your neighbor. Locals/regulars meeting for coffee and visits was nice to see. Not overpriced.

We were greeted with friendly smiles when we entered the restaurant and after our conversation with a very friendly waitress, her name, Laurie, we decided on ordering some onion rings as an appetizer. For my main meal, I decided to get the fillet tips dinner with okra, and baked potato. My friend settled on their cheeseburger platter. When the onion rings came out, we started devouring them as they were simply delicious, one of the best tasting onion rings that I have eaten in a long time. The batter was light the seasoning was just perfect. Our dishes came out and my fillet tips, with grilled onions and finally chopped green peppers grilled, were delicious. The okra was crunchy tasty and delightful as well as my baked potato. My friend said her cheeseburger was excellent and we were very happy with our meal. We indulged also in their delicious homemade coconut cake, wow, what a treat that was! We certainly enjoyed ourselves and In The conversations we had with our waitress, Laurie, she just made everything perfect for our visit here! I will be returning again soon!
