I am in town for a work meeting and I was peeking around for something that was unique and homemade. Staying near the airport- there's a few places but I chose this spot because the menu was large and the offerings was attractive. I walked in and was greeted by Laura, who let me know that I had all the time to o choose what I wanted to go with. I asked a few questions, got honest answers. I decided that I was going to have the Pastitsio (kind of like a Greek lasagna), with two veggies (corn and green beans), and I can't say no to hush puppies, so I ordered them as an "app" or more like bread service. Checked out their dessert case. Lots of offerings, including baklava. Laura told me the strawberry cheesecake was excellent so I chose that over plain. The berries looked enormous! The order was quick, and I went on my way to my hotel to unpack this bag. Having a late dinner tonight was helpful with the food. The pastitsio was rich but still has good flavor with the balance of pasta, ground beef, bechamel sauce, and marinara. Hefty square and it was delicious. My veggies were the first to go. Corn was fresh and the beans were tasty but they were canned. No biggie, that's not a problem for me. The hush puppies were fried so they look like onion rings. Really delicious and also flavorful, the negative was that the side of tartar I ordered did not make it into the bag. That being said- they probably did me a big favor since that's just extra calories and not really needed with the hush puppies. For showing up around 7 PM and then getting to eat in my hotel about 30 minutes later is impressive. Great food, great service, and I will be back the next time I have work meetings in town! Support family owned businesses! PS I stand corrected the tartar sauce was placed in the cold bag with the cheesecake. Smart, and I am not. Thank you!

Came here for a Thursday lunch after picking up my daughter from the Asheville airport. This restaurant is very clean and comfortable. Staff greeted us right away and we were seated right away. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We opted for the salad bar and great choice! Lettuce was fresh and crispy, cucumbers were crispy and the potato salad was so creamy. The chicken livers were delicious! Nice variety of food, Greek, Italian, American and seafood! Daily specials and a senior and kid's menu. Good quality food.

Ok service. Food ok at best. Took about ten minutes after I was seated for the waiter to come up to the table. Get my check, went to the counter to pay, and ran into one of the guys seating people. Looks like he just got off a 3-day bender, and smelled like it as well. Waiting at the counter to pay, the older gentleman was snatching and throwing the receipts back at the lady in front of me. I go up to pay and he tells me the total and tries to snatch the cash out of my hand.

Food was barely lukewarm. Waitress was extremely loud. Not a good experience. Ended up sick in the middle of the night.

The property where this horseshoe farm sits is just so beautiful. We parked at the spa and walked to the silo restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted immediately and took a seat by the fireplace while waiting for my parents to arrive. We then ordered a drink and went and sat on the patio since they were running just a little bit late. Upon arrival, we were greeted once again by our waitress that took our order and kept our water and tea filled to the brim. We ordered the soup of the day and shared the Lamburgesa. The soup was served piping hot and broth was delicious. The lamb was so flavorful, but we opted to have the jalapenos on the side. My parents ordered the Broad Burger and were equally pleased.

We arrived on time to a half filled facility, told "wait over there" and waited 15 minutes to be seated at a group table with children and infants. Hmm not what I was led to believe from the restaurant that self describes first class ambience and dinning experience in a farm like setting. The menu is somewhat limited. Ok great chefs do that so they can assure perfection. The waitress immediately told us her favorites. That is code for management telling staff " push these items". After listening we chose several appetizer items. I opted for the carrots as I had never seen them listed for $17 dollars! My spouse ordered the PEI mussels that were eloquently described with chimichurri and white wine with lime and sourdough. Well everything arrived at once and we were under whelmed. My carrots turned out as a single carrot sliced lengthwise with a drizzle of dark sauce. One carrot for$17 ? The mussels, lukewarm warm with perhaps a teaspoon of broth with two hard lumps of over grilled sourdough bread that were hard as rocks and one half of a lime. Presentation was not even a thought. We both said we need something else. I ordered sourdough bread and a Caesar salad described as anchovy, vinaigrette, black pepper, Parmesan, biscuit bread crumbs, local kale. Ok, so you know how this is going to go. The sourdough was hard bread rolls that must of arrived from the day old section in Ingles. The Caesar salad was dropped off at the table. We looked at a giant mound of Parmesan cheese and 100% kale. That is not a Caesar salad that is kale salad. Remember kale used to be a decoration on food. Lest we forget the trout pate for 20 bucks that arrived in a baby food jar and had the consistency of melted mayonnaise. No flavor, none. I don't need to carry on but.... Check arrived with no desert offerings. We asked for the desert menus which is very slim. We ordered the crème brûlée. It was great!!! The check arrived again and we promptly paid and left our waitress a good tip on an erroneous check and left never to return
