The outside was packed so we went inside. The temperature was comparable to the outside since there are two doors constantly being open. We were greeted quickly and ordered drinks and got their loaded wedges. This place was busy from both vehicles and boat traffic. First observation was the carpeted floor and the chemical cleaner odor battling the smell of the bar. The occasional fly buzz was distracting as well, but couldn't be helped with the in and out traffic. The loaded wedges were delicious and the side Caesar salad was also very good. My Son ordered the French Dip (very salty) with onion rings as a side (over cooked). My Wife had a burger (bun was tuff). I had the double cheeseburger which was massive and tasty. I loved their twisted fries as well. Service was sufficient, yet very busy. This place would check all the boxes for a good time crowd fresh off the lake but if you're just rolling through, it's just meh. Check them out

Staying near the airport- there's a few places but I chose this spot because the menu was large and the offerings was attractive. I walked in and was greeted by Laura, who let me know that I had all the time to o choose what I wanted to go with. I asked a few questions, got honest answers. I decided that I was going to have the Pastitsio (kind of like a Greek lasagna), with two veggies (corn and green beans), and I can't say no to hush puppies, so I ordered them as an "app" or more like bread service. Checked out their dessert case. Lots of offerings, including baklava. Laura told me the strawberry cheesecake was excellent so I chose that over plain. The berries looked enormous! The order was quick, and I went on my way to my hotel to unpack this bag. Having a late dinner tonight was helpful with the food. The pastitsio was rich but still has good flavor with the balance of pasta, ground beef, bechamel sauce, and marinara. Hefty square and it was delicious. My veggies were the first to go. Corn was fresh and the beans were tasty but they were canned. No biggie, that's not a problem for me. The hush puppies were fried so they look like onion rings. Really delicious and also flavorful, the negative was that the side of tartar I ordered did not make it into the bag. That being said- they probably did me a big favor since that's just extra calories and not really needed with the hush puppies. For showing up around 7 PM and then getting to eat in my hotel about 30 minutes later is impressive. Great food, great service, and I will be back the next time I have work meetings in town! Support family owned businesses! PS I stand corrected the tartar sauce was placed in the cold bag with the cheesecake. Smart, and I am not. Thank you!

In "my opinion" and those of my three other friends and my husband this restaurant is about to go under (close). All of us noticed that the the waitress we had very recently, and the man that accepts your cash or credit card for the food that we ate, were not only unprofessional ,but rude , and the waitress was also sarcastic, judgmental, and a accuser of her interpretation of something that she had no business accusing me. I ordered the same thing as always? spaghetti, marinara sauce, salad bar. Only thing different is I didnot start on my salad until I was half way finished with my above food. She accused me of taking more than my one trip salad bar and then proceeded to tell the man possible manager who came over after I had already dumped in to go container , to let me know he was charging me more ! Everyone at table knew I hadn't taken more than one trip ! In the Bible it says that is a demonic spirit that accuses an innocent person. Never will we five people EVER go in here again!

Small-town restaurant, big-city energy. We were wrapping up a weekend in Hendersonville and wanted…read moreone nice Sunday dinner before heading home, and wow... this place delivered and then some! The atmosphere is cozy, low-lit, and perfect for date night, a celebration, or honestly just when you want a really good meal with phenomenal service. It's not huge, and judging by how packed it was when we arrived, I'd definitely recommend reservations. We had one of the later seating times near closing, but the place was still buzzing. There's even a second room with a gorgeous long bar that gives off upscale neighborhood hangout vibes. Service was flawless from the start. We were seated immediately and had water in our glasses within minutes. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and somehow had us in and out in about 40 minutes without ever making us feel rushed. That's an art form. Drink-wise, my boyfriend was happy to find some local beers after our brewery-hopping adventure earlier in the day. I ordered a cocktail that sounded good and asked if they could make it spicy... maybe throw in some jalapeños or something. They didn't just accommodate, they elevated. They swapped in a spicy-infused spirit, and it paired perfectly with my wood-fired roasted corn pizza topped with cilantro and jalapeño crema. Absolute flavor bomb that paired perfectly! My boyfriend's meatloaf with mushrooms and mashed potatoes was equally impressive. No notes, just clean plates. We started with the ceviche, and it was outstanding. Fresh, bright, and so flavorful that we started dipping our homemade pita into it. Speaking of the pita, that was honestly my only minor miss (and it wasn't even a miss lol). As a carb enthusiast, I wanted a little more salt and flavor, but that's nitpicking in what was otherwise an exceptional meal. Hearth & Herron is the kind of place every small town wishes it had. Thoughtful food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that punches way above its weight class. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Hendersonville and recommend you do the same!
