We were greeted quickly and ordered drinks and got their loaded wedges. This place was busy from both vehicles and boat traffic. First observation was the carpeted floor and the chemical cleaner odor battling the smell of the bar. The occasional fly buzz was distracting as well, but couldn't be helped with the in and out traffic. The loaded wedges were delicious and the side Caesar salad was also very good. My Son ordered the French Dip (very salty) with onion rings as a side (over cooked). My Wife had a burger (bun was tuff). I had the double cheeseburger which was massive and tasty. I loved their twisted fries as well. Service was sufficient, yet very busy. Erin was our server both nights and she was so go that first night we requested her again Saturday night. Outstanding service both times. Friday night my beautiful wife got the sea bass which was perfectly cooked and delicious. I got the small cheese pizza (smoked chicken, mushrooms and onions) which was HUGE! Best pizza I have had in a LONG time. Saturday night, my beautiful wife got the fish and chips with a side of coleslaw. Delicious. I got the shredded beef tacos with a side of coleslaw, also very delicious. Great view of lake lure, not too loud and great atmosphere. Manager and waitress, top notch. Highly recommend.

The check-in is in the same building as Legends On The Lake. We decided to stay for dinner so it only took 15 minute wait to get a patio table overlooking Lake Lure. I tried a few of the other sides trying my best to stay away for the carbohydrates that most of the side dishes bring with them. Well as much will power and restraint that I have it all slowly eroded away each time I passed the dessert table. The chocolate fountain surround by sliced pineapple, strawberries and cubes of moist cake, lemon and chocolate pies, cheese cake, chocolate cake, cookies and omg peach cobbler - trust me you can gain a few pounds just by being close to this table. He was incredibly attentive, answered all of our questions, and shared his personal experiences of the community before and after the hurricane, which made our visit even more meaningful. The burgers were absolutely delicious--some of the best we've had! When it started raining, Ian and the management team went above and beyond, checking on us several times to make sure we were comfortable and didn't mind staying outside. Their genuine concern and exceptional hospitality did not go unnoticed. We had a wonderful meal and an even better experience.
