Good food and service, reasonable prices. Clientele is mostly 65+ though, so it might not be the best atmosphere for a date.

My husband, not a salad guy, actually stopped the manager as well as went into the open kitchen to give utmost compliments on the BEST salad he has ever had. Also indulged in crab cake special and the short rib meatloaf - regular menu item. We both finished our plates. Taste, portion were ideal. Service was attentive by many who passed our table. Vibe was chill, good music, people were happy. Will be back when we are in town.

I ordered the chicken pot pie, which was absolutely delicious the first time I had it -- big chunks of white meat chicken, lots of veggies, wonderful flavor. Last night, I remembered why I typically don't eat chicken pot pie. Literally nothing but crust, a few small pieces of chicken and a handful of peas and carrots. $19. Shame on me for not sending it back. I told my server how disappointed I was. His response? I'll let the kitchen know. When he returned with my bill I was offered a free dessert. Are you kidding me? I had to go find dinner. No discount or apology. Very dismissive. Additionally, the restaurant was way too warm. Cost cutting all the way around? Definitely avoid!

I figured I would try this challenge It was a awesome sandwich everything was delicious the owner George was awesome as well he came out and talked to me and my family you also should let them know a few days before if you are up to this challenge I would highly recommend it I was able to complete It. But if you're not into a challenge they have plenty of other food on their menu. My family also had Dinner here. They have some delicious Burgers and wraps My wife had the Roast Beef Panini and My son had the cheese bacon burger everyone loved their meals. The place was very clean and organize. I also have peanut butter pie to top off my victory it was very good as well. George and Mara his wife are owners. They also specialized in pastries and desserts As well. We made some modifications to our orders which I am sure is not the norm. She was delightful and attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit. Great decor and lots to see. Can't wait to go back when the owner's momma makes chicken n dumplins. Don't pass by the dessert case.

I didn't really know what to expect, but I did know the little shop that was attached was closed. As soon as I stepped in, it felt very homey, like walking into your Nana house on Sunday for family dinner. I was instantly greeted, and I apologize to the cashier because I had no idea what I want to order because I had never been here. She said, take your time with the biggest smile and the cutest cheetah print overalls. I ended up asking for the veggie sandwich, which seems to be new on the menu and I added bacon to it. I got it on jalapeño sourdough. I got a bag of chips for the side and a oatmeal cream pie. While I'll wait for my food in what seems like one of the coziest moments I've had in a long time. I looked at the things along the wall, and I bought some candles, and sat down to watch the atmosphere of the customers and employees. Yes, it took some time to get food. But realistically if you are soaking in the environment, it's a family reunion. Waiting for Nana to say it's time to eat. I really enjoy that. You can pretty much see how everything is cooked and there's plenty of seating within the building. However, it does get packed real quick. I ended up loving the atmosphere so much. I went back a second time the next day and I got a salad and of course, and oatmeal cream pie. I didn't really know what to get and ask the cashier for some help and she told me to get the Italian salad. I can't say it was the biggest fan. When I ate it. I think I put a little too much dressing, but it was so big for such a good price and you could tell it was stuffed with love. And as far as the oatmeal cream pie. I only wish I would've gotten two. I also got the blueberry latte, which was also recommended. And although I like My, coffee a little bit stronger, I really enjoyed the fresh taste like eating a blueberry muffin. The second day I went back. There was such a sweet lady over the retail shop in the back, and she was so open when it came to me buying the earrings at the shop. I live about 45 minutes away from this restaurant. And I will definitely say it's worth driving to just for the atmosphere and love this building holds and I will absolutely be back.

Lately, the only burgers I've been eating are double quarter pounders from McDonald's. I visited with my family and was surprised by how small and old-fashioned the bar looked. I'm not sure how old it is, but if they were going for an old-timey aesthetic, they nailed it. After a short wait, we were seated, and a waiter quickly took our order. I went with a patty melt, since it had been years, and added a side of fries, which weren't included but were hand-cut and prepared fresh daily. I checked the inside of the burger and noticed grill marks, which was promising since no gas was used. The burger had a charcoal flavor and was cooked perfectly to my preferred medium rare. The mayo had a nice zing, and the rye bread was high quality and toasted just right. The hand-cut fries, however, were a letdown as some were overcooked and a bit too oily. Overall, it was a good meal. I'd return to this place and try another burger, but I'd opt for a different side instead of the fries.
